The owners are great people who go out of their way to help you with any of your needs, and are always good for a fish story.
To me, the drive across town is well worth it, no other place I have been to in the past 20 years has made me feel as welcome.

This is the quaint fishing shop you could only find in a small town!
There is everything you need there from maps, fishing supplies, beer, and snacks. Most people tend to drive right by this place as its harder to see; however, their prices on the above items are a lot cheaper than any of the mini marts or grocery stores on the way to the lake.
I highly recommend the fishing and hunting supplies. As far as the East Side of Las Vegas goes it can be a challenging time to find outdoor items. Sandy Cove has a wide array of different hooks and tackles. Not only that, but they have appropriate knives to gut fish wish.
The owners of the store are very friendly and have been part of the fishing/​hunting community for quite sometime. They are very warm and welcoming to giving you advice for good fishing and hunting spots.
