Safeguard Mini Storage

This is the best storage place out there… Linda and Alex make it the best! BUT DON’T GO THERE ON SUNDAY AND MONDAY! Linda and Alex are off on those days and their fill ins are TERRIBLE! I went there on Sunday to pay my bill, usually I stay away on the days Linda/​Alex aren’t there but I was driving by and thought why not. I had on flip flops and when I walked and got by the chair I slipped on something wet. He just sat there, I said oh there is something wet on the floor over here. He said Where? And got up walk around the counter and look and said I don’t see nothing. So I said oh well then by all means must of been my imagination. He walked back behind the desk and sat there. I said ummm I would like to pay my storages… yes storages… I have 3. (I will take all of my stuff out if and when Alex and Linda ever leave) I paid and he says here’s your receipt and that was it… no Thank you kiss my butt or anything. My daughter who was with me said… This is the place you love… I said ONLY WHEN LINDA AND ALEX ARE HERE. SO get your storage units here when ALEX AND LINDA are here and all will be great but STAY AWAY ON SUNDAY AND MONDAYS!!! FIVE STARS ON TUESDAY — SATURDAY ONLY! 0 STARS on Sunday and Monday

I booked my moving truck rental through Penske and chose this pickup location based on how close it was to the freeway/​my house. I wasn’t expecting much, but the service I received was priceless.
I showed up an hour early to pick up my truck, fortunately they were able to accommodate, but I’m sure it’s probably not best practice since trucks come and go so often. Alex took me out, showed me around the truck, noted a handful of defects I would’ve overlooked, made sure my car was attached well, and gave me driving tips that I desperately needed. Penske will let anyone rent one of these trucks, but don’t let that get you thinking they’re easy to drive; they’re brutal. Ask Alex plenty of questions. I found out he has a CDL, but he explained things in a way I could understand. I went from driving a Honda CR-​Z in the morning, to driving a 16′ truck with my car hooked on the back with a tow dolly (get the insurance on this at the least, I scraped up my front bumper getting the car on and will claim it and have them fix it). My drive was 1200 miles (mostly highway, fortunately), and it took 400ish miles for me to start feeling really comfortable. I was never able to get comfortable driving in the city. Getting off the highway was a daunting task, and I tried to do so as seldom as possible.
I don’t know how this place is for their storage since I only came for truck pickup, but the lot looked clean, quiet, and safe. I wouldn’t normally write a review for such an interaction, but I’m 100% certain I would’ve ruined my car or wrecked the truck if it weren’t for the time Alex took happily answering my questions and giving me tips.
