I have never been a fan of Quiznos and I am not afraid to admit that. I never liked the meat. I never liked the toasted bread. I must say though, I am starting to come around now. They have really stepped up their game. Tonight I got a Classic Italian on Rosemary Parmasean bread. Oh, that was a good sandwich. The bread is amazing. I love the taste of the cheese baked on and a bit crispy. The deli meats were good too. And I asked for extra vinegrette dressing. Gosh, I’m drooling right now just thinking about it. Last week I ordered a meatball sub on the very same bread I ordered tonight. There was no shortage of meatballs and they were a good size. I wish I would have customized with olives and perhaps some mushrooms. Regardless, it was a good sandwich. My most favorable impression of Quiznos is the owner at the Tenaya location. He is funny and friendly. He appreciates the customers and it shows. He talks to you like you are a true friend. It makes going into the store an enjoyable experience. While I still prefer Subway for the smell of the fresh bread and the fresh vegetables I admit that the service at Subway is, how do I say this, cold and sterile. So, I humbly say, good job Quiznos. Good job.

Where Subway failed, Quiznos succeeded! On the 95-ish area of Craig road, there lies a Subway and a Quiznos fighting for your dollar and your consideration. And by all mean, give your money to Quiznos. The owner, Craig, opened this location three years ago and has given 100% of himself to make the business work and it really shows — the night and day quality between a Subway sub and a Quiznos sub is incredible, from the bread to the variations of the veggies to the way they heat their chicken. The interior is clean, the service is friendly, and Craig has some pretty entertaining stories about his time in the service as well as his battle with Korean food. It’s a store with a lot of personality and it’s an average of 8 bucks for a mid-sized sandwich that leaves you satisfied. I mean, white onions or red onions OR both? Awesome!

Quiz-NOs, I say Quiz-YES! Okay, so that was super corny. I ate here because I had a Groupon. A two for one kind of deal. The place was super clean and the man working the counter was really friendly. They had diet Mountain Dew on tap. Whooray! We had the Black Angus and the Baja Chicken. Of course they were good, its a franchise. However, the Black angus had too much sauce. The place was pretty dead. What a shame, its a nice place(and a healthy option). Like subway, but better. The man behind the counter explained that a Terrible’s gas station is going to be built next door. It seemed like that will make or break this Quiznos. Well, as long as it is here, I’ll be stopping buy again.
