Power Up Gaming

Today was my son’s 11^th b-​day so I decided to let him play hooky from the 5^th grade for the day. We spent the morning at Sunset Station’s arcade, then ice cream at Ben & Jerry’s. He hadn’t got the games out of his system yet so he mentioned Power Up Gaming. AGAIN! He had seen this place when a friend had taken them to Cici’s pizza last month. I gave in and drove over there after making a call to make sure it was kid friendly and open. The guys that answered (whom I assume is the owner) was super friendly and said «Yeah. come on over». When we got there the same guy was there and gave us the «TOUR» which was really neat. even for a non-​gamer like me :) After showing us around he gave us prices and luckily Tuesday is $ 4 day. So we got to play for an hour for only 4 bucks! I had my 7 year old nephew and 4 year old son with me. He was very welcoming and didn’t seem to be bothered by all the noise and chaos we ALWAYS bring! They sell snacks and drinks at a reasonable price which for us is necessary ;) I think they offer up party prices too. I’m looking forward to taking my son back with some of his friends. The place is SUPER clean and comfy and the owner seems honest and humble. Its not a huge commercial place like Game Works so you feel good patronizing a local business. Lots of game console and comfy couches. I think this place is great for adults and kids that LOVE playing video games.

I was here during their soft opening and this place is literally the coolest gaming lounge I have been to. They have all of my favorite video games and consoles. They also have a private PC room with 10 computers to play with friends. I especially loved their racing game station and the rock band set up. I hadn’t played rock band in ages so it was nice to get into it. The lounge was very clean and nicely designed. It’s sleek but chill, and the staff are fun. With entry we also got unlimited pizzas from next door so that was definitely a nice treat. They also served cupcakes too. I live in LA so I won’t be visiting them often, but I know I will definitely be back. My fiancé loves video games and we spent the entire day here. A whole day in Vegas away from the slot machines saves a lot of money. They informed me that they also close down the place for private events so I can see this being a great spot to host parties. Cici’s pizza next door and Starbucks right across! I noticed there was a hookah lounge a couple of doors down so I can see this being a happening spot. Go check them out!

Awesome atmosphere, great staff, good equipment, fantastic location, it’s very easy to see how awesome this place will be in the coming months. Came in with low expectations, and left very pleased with the experience. The staff was very open to suggestions and 100% dedicated to giving customers the absolute best experience they can provide.
Currently, they have a solid line up of Xbox One, PS4, Wii U, and PC titles that are sure to keep you there for hours. Stuff like Black Ops 3, League of Legends, Mortal Kombat X, Smash 4, etc. with more games to come! Plans to add older gen consoles for the hardcore crowd have been promised!
They’ve got a membership program which grants you a 20% discount on everything they offer including: Gameplay hours, snacks and beverages, merchandise, and even the newest game titles! All of this for just 19 a month, which isn’t much considering all the benefits and if you’ve been looking for a video game lounge that isn’t Gameworks this is the place for you.
Definitely looking forward to my next visit!

I have to just start off by saying WOW!!! Living in the neighborhood I always passed by while they where doing construction thinking to myself when is this going to be open. With some time and patience my dream has came true I stopped by last night for a peek and instantly fell in love and wasn’t even half way through I also was greeted by a young gentleman named Joe and he gave me a tour around explaining everything individually to me for the Ps4 to the Xbox-​1
And best part was there Pc room I didn’t wanna leave once I stepped into the room I highly recommend it to All THE GAMERS AND EVEN Non-​GAMERS you will not be let down! Also a plus is very safe environment they make you feel like home keep up the work guys you got a costumer for life :)
