Very simple, yet very elegant. it’s a great place to see or be seen. The bar located just below is very hip and reasonably priced. You can enjoy the view outside from the bar or from upstairs. I always take the time to enjoy the Parasol Up/Parasol Down. When in Vegas, visiting the Wynn or Encore, this is a must visit. Most tourists are very busy and don’t take the time to enjoy the simpler things in life. The best part is… that its free!

Parasol U/D is one of the coolest, most original and beautiful bars I have ever been to. No matter if you’re sitting at Parasol Up, underneath a giant parasol, or at Parasol Down looking up at the gorgeous moving parasols, or outside on their patio with their dynamic waterfall, you’ll be happy you came here. We ordered a Showstopper drink, as well as a Caipirinha and were not disappointed by either drink. The waitress wasn’t as attentive as we would have wished, but she was delightful when she was around, and brought us a dish of snack mix, which we enjoyed. The shows that included the waterfall spanned from bizarre, to captivating, to wonderful. This is really a place that you can stay a while, and is truly a lounge. Everyone should experience this at least once!

Shhhhh… this is THE best place on the strip to savor a cigar. It’s hidden away, below street level at the Wynn. You’re seated on a patio deck, lakeside in very comfortable wicker chairs. During the day it’s quiet and relaxing, at night it’s an amazing water and light show! Think of a hybrid of the Bellagio fountains and Cirque and you get the picture. No humidor on site, so bring your smokes.

Parasol Down is best when you can sit outside in the evening in nice weather and enjoy a cocktail with a friend. Make sure you get a table with a view of the artificial lake, as there’s a brief light show every thirty minutes — even if you’re absorbed in a conversation, it’s difficult to look away. The drinks are expensive, but you’re at the Wynn/Encore, so that’s to be expected. All the Wynn/Encore restaurants have an older crowd — if you want younger/hipper, head to the Cosmopolitan. I wouldn’t go out of my way to go to Parasol Down, but it’s nice spot for a drink before dinner at the SW Steakhouse or before heading out to one of the other restaurants. Most of the patrons were relaxing and watching the light show, so there wasn’t a lot of mingling — for socializing/flirting/meeting interesting people in Vegas, I’d keep moving.

Super cute little lounge! A couple of girlfriends and I enjoyed Parasol Down. This part of the lounge is downstairs, outside. The night we went was a little chilly but they have comfy seating and heaters to keep you nice and cozy. They also have a cute short show in the water, nothing extraordinary but a nice touch. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Drinks are great too! I can’t name what I had at this point but all of us enjoyed our cocktails. I mostly enjoyed sitting outside, it’s very intimate and relaxing.

This review is for Parasol Down. It really should be separated as they both offer different experiences. I would recommend sitting outside next to the Lake of Dreams. I have to say that this is a great spot to take a date as it was very romantic. It appears as though they have shows at the Lake of Dreams every 30 minutes after the sun sets. I was lucky enough to see the floating orbs which was cute. My date told me that there was a frog show that was supposed to occur, but we had just missed it. Drinks are rather pricey, but you are definitely paying for the ambiance. It is well worth it.

One of my favorite spots to have catch-up drinks with local girlfriends or out of town visitors. I prefer Parasol Down for the patio and cheesy«Lake of Dreams» show; it is WynnCheesy™ so it is classy fromage. Drinks, while expensive, are well made and strong. Parasol Up is nice, too, more of an ultra lounge vibe. Usually we will stop here before or after dinner, and even with the high price of drinks, I love the whole vibe. Don’t get the kvelling over the chips and bar mix snacks personally, but I’m still emotionally scarred by the«Cholera/Urine/EColi-laden Diner Mints» story from years ago. I have trust issues: but, enjoy! * elegant bar with a patio overlooking Wynn«Lake of Dreams» show(Parasol Down) * ** great people watching: adjacent to SW Steakhouse ** *** strong pours *** **** patio is heated ****

It was a Tuesday night a little before 10pm. When we asked for a table outside, she said people come and go frequently and the wait would not be long. We got a drink inside, sat down, and our table outside was ready. It was in the front closest to the water and the upcoming show. My local friend who recommended we go here, said the show is indescribable when I asked him about it. He was right. The show was amazing. It occurs ever half hour and is about 3 minutes long. We were told there are nine different shows. Very trippy! Service very good. At one point I was cold(seriously) so I got the Almond Joy in a decaf cappuccino. Kim, our cocktail waitress was great as we kept switching back seats(inside, then outside, then back inside. She was friendly, efficient, and provided info upon request.

I just love this bar what I love off the cocktail menu is the Lychee blossom Martini. I also LOVED the potato chips they would give you but they don’t have them anymore! I was very sad to find out they don’t have them anymore.

Parched after the La Reve show, we decided to make our way over to Parasol Up/Down for some drinks and entertainment. There is generally a short wait to be seated but the relaxation is well worth it. Cocktails are a little pricey, but that’s to be expected from a five star resort. The show plays every half hour I believe and lasts a few minutes. They have an assortment of peanuts to snack on while you wait for your drinks. Lovely place to relax, stay entertained, and forget about life for awhile

No idea this was the name of the place when we came here for drinks. Odd name, but the Paraasol show, sitting overlooking the lake was beautiful! One of the more quiet, romantic places to have a drink, prices are average at about $ 16 a drink and they were fantastic! Service was great, we had a nice table right on the balcony, great place to stop for a drink in the Wynn!

My favorite bar at the Wynn! Disclaimer: I prefer Parasol down as opposed to the Up version. Ambiance is the best on the strip, no question. Grab a table on the terrace overlooking the lake of dreams if you can(it makes dishing out $ 16 a drink more bearable). There are 5 – 6 performances they cycle through every half hour with each being really unique & visually stimulating. There can be a wait for a table but I’ve never waited more than 10 minutes & trust me, it’s worth it. This place is pretty chill & the crowd is older so if that’s not what you’re looking for then this place probably isn’t for you. In terms of drinks, you can’t really go wrong with any of the specialty cocktails on their menu. I’ve tried 6 – 8 of them and they were all great. They also bring you out some bar snacks which is always nice & basically unheard of at any other Vegas hotel bar. Best of all, Jonathan & Ian at Parasol down are great bartenders! Best I’ve ever encountered in Vegas.

I don’t frequent bars or lounges as I’m not much of a drinker, but on a recent staycation we had the pleasure of enjoying a few cocktails at Parasol Up. The prices are astronomical, but that’s to be expected on the strip. My fella and I enjoyed some signature cocktails and a round of complimentary chips and wasabi cracker mix. The atmosphere on a weekday around 6pm was geared toward businesspeople. Quiet but enjoyable location we sipped our drinks and caught up on the day’s events. For two drinks, our bill was well over $ 40, but if you get passed that this is the place for you.

If you only want a drink(because they don’t serve food) and you don’t mind waiting 10 – 15 for it, then this is a great spot! Definitely an older mellow crowd. It’s a small seating area but the view of the waterfall and show is spectacular! The best time to go is sunset or anytime in the evening. The service is very slow.

I enjoy this bar because the drinks are very good, the service has always been very friendly and the prices are not crazy. They have a show in their patio at night with lights and music that is pretty amusing. I believe there are probably about 5 different ones and they rotate every few minutes. It’s a nice place to go an relax and have a drink.

Parasol up is more of a upscale lounge and parasol down is more of a casual lounge. The patio located at parasol down is very nice located with view of the waterfall. We sat in the patio with heaters outside. Prices are average for the wynn. Overall its more for people watching.

You won’t see many reviews for bars on my help feed– i’m not a big drinker and I just don’t happen to frequent a lot of bars a cocktail lounges. However, during my last trip to Vegas in November we happen to discover this fun little bar in the middle of the casino at the Wynn. It has two sections– on the up section you are at the casino level. The town section is on the lower level where guests can sit on the patio with a lovely view of the waterfall. They have couches and chairs that are really comfy — you could tell they want you to stay and drink:) They offer a really great wine by glass selection! That always makes me happy. The cocktails were delicious and made really well. The servers were adorable, cute and all about Vegas. As you’re enjoying your cocktails, beer or wine they serve a chip and nut mixture that’s delicious! Are the drinks pricey? Hell yes it’s Vegas. I do think that the days of the $ 3.95 ribeye steak and $ 2.95 amazing buffets are over. Everything is gonna cost you in Vegas. We didn’t get a chance to watch any of their little shows by the waterfall but the chatter we heard was that they were silly, comical and really funny. It’s just a nice little spot to meet up with friends, check in and have a drink. Loved it :)

Going UP or Going DOWN? On a recent visit to Las Vegas, some friends and I decided to go «down» to enjoy some after-dinner drinks at this bar located at the Wynn. Parasol has two sections: UP: Located on the casino level DOWN: Located on a lower level with patio seating that provides a prime view of the waterfall feature. As we were there in the evening, we were able to view the waterfall lit up as well as the entertainment/shows. These were fun to watch as the shows varied in color, character, and music. The shows are comical, whimsy, artsy, and colorful. I’ll go as far as to state they may put a smile on your face. The drinks are a bit on the pricey side. And with that being said, since this was the first stop of our night post dinner, we each had one drink. Most had the pear-asol which I believe is their signature cocktail/martini. The nuts/chips that are served are pretty darn good too. After watching three shows, engaging in some laughter and conversation, we downed our drinks and moved on to the next place. BOTTOMLINE: I’d definitely be DOWN to return on a future Vegas trip. CHEERS!
