Modern sports book, remodeled in 2013, with lots of huge TVs. VIP seating offers personal space and the luxury of leather couches — all with a clear view of every screens. Busy book bc ppl like to stay off the Strip(me included!) Clientele is diverse and friendly, I’ve made some good friends at Palms sports book. Bar carries Goose Island IPA, always a plus ;) You are likely to find me here on any given Sunday!

ok, they are not local friendly, no drink comps unless you bet over 500 dollars, they have a special room with glass on the side for vip, and they have more than half of the place covered for special guests that never appear. Whoever owns this place is a moron and only seems to cater to high roller vip types, Great screens, but no seating? Dumb, and no drinks. Go to the orleans, the screens are not as good, but you get drink comps, seating to watch the game, and hotdogs for 2 bucks.

Haven’t seen a cocktail server yet. Close to 75% of the seats are reserved by specific people via CG Technology. I am currently sitting in a «reserved seat» simply hoping for the best. There’s minor flaws in the screens which aren’t the end of the world. Seriously though — well into the second quarter and no cocktail service. Beginning to assume there is none. Bottom line — don’t come here if you are John Q Public as most seats seem to be reserved and be prepared to have no service as far as drinks are concerned.

This is a solid bar if you are looking to get some drinks with fast service, or if you want to watch some sports. TVs are mounted at angles that provide most of the bar a view. They do have a limited amount of beers on tap, so if you are looking for that you may wish to search elsewhere. The biggest draw for this place is that bartenders are very attentive. I came here twice and both times the bartenders immediately provided me service. They are also fairly personable. If you are in the Rio and looking for a place to get some drinks without a wait, come here. If you are looking to stay a bit and catch a game, this is a good place for that as well. For what it is, it gets five stars.

One of the less crowded Sportsbooks in town with high ceilings allowing for ample smoke clearance I spent just under an hour watching the Browns and Lions kick off their preseason here last week and although the gamblers themselves proved as quirky as ever it was the quality of the screens and the comfortable chairs that caught my attention, the later particularly pleasant with all leather upholstry and ample padding for hours of sitting… or perhaps a quick nap as it seemed many were using the lounge for such purposes that evening.

HUGE projection screens. If you are betting they have cubicles with what looked like computer screens available there(to possibly make more bets?) to sit in. I liked the fact that these huge screens were there for patrons gambling or passing by to also watch the games. I stood outside the sportsbook and was able to post up and eat a donut and drink a coffee while watching the world cup games. This sportsbook probably has the best screens to watch any major sporting event going on.

My dad insists these are the largest TVs he’s seen in his entire 70 years of life. The updated sportsbook at the Palms is definitely a spectacle of big screens and little screens too, and the big screens deliver a HD picture that threatens to melt the eyeballs right out of your head. For pure viewing pleasure, it is a top-notch spot, and if you happen to play poker, they have several tables set up right there so you can lose even more money I suppose. The seats are red and more comfortable than your average book furniture. They even have a bit of a recline, which is helpful if you’re on the front row looking straight up at god-sized football players. Each of the cubby screens allows you to tune into another TV channel, place more bets and/or pull up some other gambling options, like video poker. I don’t really partake in the gambling, but they make it easy to keep your money in play. Given it’s right next to the west self-parking lot, it is also easily accessible. I am a fan of the new digs.

This place is way cool. They got hot waitresses to bring you drinks. Sometimes they haggle you for drink tickets but it is never a problem for me. I like the parlay cards they have and I head here for that particular reason. The people here are way cool. There are many locals that come here. I have gotten some good leads here in the past. They were telling me about Nevada Reno and San Jose St. Football. I guess they did their research and it turned out good for me. I had some entertaining conversations here and met some good people here. I do win here more frequently than anywhere else. I do get into arguments often but that at this joint. If you get hungry there is a Panda Express, McDonald’s, pizza, a Coffee Bean and many other food options nearby. No reason to not give this place a try. Sometimes they give out gifts like a commuter mug and some other stuff if you have a member card. They used to not take bets on the NBA but I think that has changed now.
