Open Water Marine

I really don’t like to write reviews, but I had to write this one because I don’t want anyone else get screwed over like I did. I had bought a boat that had a busted engine block due to freeze over. the owner chopped the price in half and I got the boat as is. I found this guys on yellow pages and thought that they are legit and I called them, they asked a reasonable price to put in a rebuilt engine. I went over and found out that its not a business, its a resident and they are working from their garage. i decided to hire the and i left the boat with them and was spouse to pick it up two weeks later. long story short i picked it up 3 weeks later and when i took the boat to the lake with my family (2 kinds in the boat) and the boat started acting up. turned out that the distribution cap was loose and it was misfiring. the engine valves got broken. i took the boat back and he was trying to charge me to fix the boat, i told him that i am not gonna pay him because it was their fault that this happened. they had the boat for another week and a half. when i went to pick it up it wasn’t done i hade to wait for 3 hours. before i took the boat to this guys i had it all cleaned and nice looking. when i picked it up it was all greasy and they didn’t even put back all the interior. after i brought the boat home i decided to start the boat again to make sure everything is good. when i started the boat i heard a loud clink clink and the engine was stuck. i called him he said bring it back but i am not gonna take it back because they are lied to me the whole time. every time i went there this guys were drinking beer, every time i called him he was being rude. one time he picked up the phone and he said ill call you when your boat is ready and he hang up. they are very hostile and i don’t want to deal with this guys again. i am in the process of suing them and come to find out that business don’t exist. BUTTOM LINE DONT TAKE YOUR BOAT TO THE THEY WILL MESS IT UP AND WONT EVEN CARE.
