In the middle of a total overhaul. The neighborhood is sketchy, and some of the neighbors might miss their meds now and again. Relatively quiet, but at times the boys club across the way has a personal car show going on. All new appliances and fixtures, could be useful to have screens on the windows, however. Also, the parking sucks. It’s set up for one way angled, so backing out of your spot can be tricky if the lots full or you have a bigger car. Cheap rent, although I was charged $ 15 more than they have ever advertised, before or since. My bad for not saying anything.

So I originally applied to live at their property across the street, Fremont Villas. I was approved, but that property was full and the Ogden Villas are directly across the street and lower cost. I was told that the Ogden Villas were in a transformation period and would have community wifi, a bbq area, and become a gated community very soon. Well, that was back in October and none of the above has happened. Not to mention that with each apartment that they fix up, someone moves in that is not a very good neighbor. I have lost count of how many sleepless nights I have had due to neighbors blasting music, TV shows, and video games, not to mention the boys nights that some of them have. Perfect example, right this moment there is a group of residents that popped open a table right in the parking spot just below and outside of my bedroom window and are playing cards very loudly and it is 9:45PM. You have more than one crazy neighbor in this complex as well. One guy yells at his sister, Jennifer, on the phone, even when she doesn’t answer, all because he has to talk to voicemail. I hear him yelling at his phone almost daily. This is the same guy that at night will sit on the stairs to the second floor drinking booze. Or you have the older woman who lives down the way who is ALWAYS in someones business and for some unknown reason always feels the need to go outside of her apartment when she talks on her mobile phone, no matter what time of day it is. Keep in mind that this woman has a loud voice and doesn’t care who hears her or her conversation. Then you have the crazy girl across the parking lot that sits on the stairs at random hours of the day and out of the blue begins screaming and yelling at random people who are invisible. Sure, you save yourself some cash by living here, but do you really want to deal with all of the above? If I had known about all of this before hand, I surely would not have moved in.
