«Amazing» is the only word to describe the level of coaching and sense of pride you will get from Master G and his staff at NV Tae Kwon Do. I have been studying with Marc for the past few years, and now have my 2 daughters in class as well. The student teachers are VERY skilled and rival any other owner/masters I have met at various schools around town. If you want Olympic quality training, and a fun but challenging workout then this is the only place you need to visit. You won’t regret it.

I’ve been taking Tae Kwon Do lessons from Master G since I was 5 years old long before NV Tae Kwon Do even existed and I must say that he is a great influence on young children and adults. At NV Tae Kwon Do, you can expect to learn self-discipline, self-defense, and how to get a great work out. As a beginner, you learn more of the background of Tae Kwon Do and very basic form. As you advance to upper belts, he has you lead lower belt levels, which is extremely important to be able to convey what you have learned! And you will ALWAYS be given a good workout regardless of belt level. As a child, you are heavily taught self-discipline and self-control. This is namely because young children like to just run around and do whatever they want. The reason why this is so important to teach children this is so they learn to focus in every aspect of life, not limited to Tae Kwon Do. Classes are also very optimistic and fun so its not like sending your child to boot camp. As an adult, Master G understands that everyone comes for a specific reason, so he sits down and talks to you about personal goals and helps you achieve them. Whether it is learning how to focus, self-defense, or if you’re just simply looking for a good workout he will make sure your goals are met. For comparisons, I’ve gone through a few martial arts dojos in my lifetime. I took Tae Kwon Do for granted because it isn’t the martial art that is truly suited for me; however, after seeing a few local gyms, I have to admit I’d rather stick to an art less interesting than to be taught a bunch of BS from a BS instructor. If you are one of those people who are obsessed with knowing a person’s credentials, they are listed in his website. Also, PLEASE do not instantly let this opportunity pass by just because he’s a white instructor. I honestly can NOT believe the amount of people who believe the BS that«you can not learn authentic martial arts from a white guy.» Quite personally, I prefer American instructors because it is easier to understand what they are trying to convey to me. I can hardly express how thankful I am to have learned the art of Tae Kwon Do from Master Gitelman. It was truly an honor to have had him as an instructor.
