Purchased a Century Catamount Fury on the internet b/​c they had it at a good price…
Inquired about shipping to Carson City and rcvd delayed correspondence/​email that from Ken that it would take about a week and half to rcv it from ‘our’ warehouse and then they would ship it out.
I commented that when I purchased it, I was under the impression that they actually had it in stock (and was thinking that already ‘Ken’ was being less than truthful with me…‘our’ warehouse? You expect me to believe that your small shop has it’s own warehouse, that the gun is ‘there’ and that it is going to take a week and a half to rcv it from ‘your’ warehouse? Why not just tell me the truth, that you have to order it, don’t have it in stock, and will keep me advised as it enters transit to your business… ie via tracking number?)
Several days go by, I contact Ken about an status update, mention that his website no longer lists the gun I ordered, can only be found with additional search criteria, and the listing now says ‘call for availability’…I mentioned that this doesn’t seem to bode well for the order, conclude email asking for a refund.
His delayed reply states that it will be in his shop the next day, that they will have no problems selling it and that a refund has been issued and will reflect in my account by next billing cycle.
I email back that he has my money, I don’t have product and want an immediate full refund…
as of today, my account has still not been credited my monies…
Conclusion: I do ALOT of inet commerce and this has been pretty much my only ‘bad’ experience…
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!

Great service and great staff, especially Tiffany. I love the fact they keep their catalog online and up-​to-​date. If they don’t have what you want in stock, you can order and pre-​pay online. Your product will arrive from the warehouse in a matter of days.

Tiffany was awesome! She was so nice and full of knowledge and really knows stuff! Not only that but they have layaway so you can take advantage of the low prices!

I recently came here, because I was seeking an M-​65 Field Jacket, which looks like a bomber jacket for work. I called around and been to a few places and were all sold out, so I called Nevada Tactical and fully described the jacket I was needing. The lady I spoke to told me they had allot in stock and all different sizes and had the M-​65 bomber jacket that I described, so I decided to immediately go down to their store.
Once I found the store it wasn’t big, but I don’t judge a book by it’s cover, so I went in and told them who I was and the jacket was for my position in Law Enforcement and the woman took me over to the jackets and the jacket she had was not even close to the jacket I described and I then asked how much the current jacket was and she said $ 98.00 with patches, so I asked if that was with a Law Enforcement discount and she replied «Yes», so I told her no.
To make a solid point, I go to American Shooters for a reason, because the jacket she was trying to sell me which was not the M-​65 and American Shooters has the M-​65 for Law Enforcement for $ 60.00, but ran out and the other jacket she tried selling me on was $ 98.00 when again Shooters has them for $ 60.00.
So, instead of being rude I asked how much the BDU pants were for and she told me a whole set was $ 100.00 with patches. I told her I apologize, but no thank you, because again Shooters has them for $ 60.00 to $ 70.00.
I am not hating this company by any means, but in all honesty and trying to be professional, they are over priced and lack customer service ability and need to listen to what a customer says directly over the phone or in person. I even pulled up the jacket online and showed her and asked her since she doesn’t carry it in the store if she could order this one and she replied «no».
I know plenty of Officers who claimed not to come here, but I had to decide for myself and sure enough coming to the store was an eye opener to what their style of business is like. Again some can be fans all day, but I assure can attest to coming here and not seeing any fair Law Enforcement pricing or the specific gear we use and when asking to order some being told no was a shocker, cause I would have paid.

Was referred to this place not for their customer service, but their location. Went there to get fitted for uniforms. Not much of a selection unless you’re from LVFR/​CCFD/​HFD. They had only one set of uniforms in my size which I purchased and were measured for alterations and patch placement. Was told I would be contacted within a week when they were ready for pick up which never happened. When I called to check the status I was met with attitude and told that I «misunderstood» the instructions I was given when I came in a week earlier. I was told that they were still waiting on a shipment from Workrite and that the uniforms I tried on belonged to someone else even though I was fitted and measured with unmarked uniforms from the display rack. I think that this place is not dedicated to the type of business that they’re looking to keep, meaning that they should keep more bench stock especially if they’re supposedly used to dealing with multiple large agencies. Will definitely be going to American Shooters from now on.

Love this store they have great service! The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable on there products. I will absolutely be coming get back!

Upon entry the place was small and packed but neaty organized. The store carried a good selection of gear. Due to the popularity of the store, there were a few items that needed to be ordered in my husband’s size. They carry great quality items. Customer service was good. They were very helpful and they helped him get what he needed quickly. Would recommend to anybody looking for tactical gear.

Better buy online. I talked to a guy and he told me that he was going to have my revolver in two days because he have to order from them warehouse.
I call today to confirm and pick it up.
He told me with attitude that he talked to me and they don’t order. You have to stop by and pay first after that will take two days.
So why you lie over the phone to bring customer in?
