Manny Discount Appliances

Prices are good, the quality is terrible. They do not fix the appliances, just clean them up. If you do buy something from them, make sure it works. Do not trust them. My wife and I spent over $ 1000.00. Now I am reselling half the items on craigslist, just to get back some of our money. Buyer Beware…

This place is great I bought a full set of appliances for nearly half the price I would’ve paid at Home Depot or Lowe’s their customer service was great. Their delivery was great on time and no problems what they said is exactly what they did for me I recommend this place to anybody and everybody who needs appliances!

We rent a home that came with a small apartment size fridge so we decided to buy a used side by side and put the small one in the garage. We scoured craigslist and saw a few being sold by private parties. We were looking at spending $ 250 – 300. We came across Manny’s and decided to go look. He had a good selection at about $ 100 over our price range but they looked better than the ones we had seen plus he claimed to give us a 3 month warranty. We bought a stainless Kitchen Aide side by side for $ 400 and paid him $ 50 to deliver. He delivered and later that day we realized the ice maker was not dispensing and found that a part was missing. We called and he said he would order. Then it started leaking. My fiancé fixed the first leak and then it started leaking in another area. Every time he fixed one leak, another would happen. Manny came out to fix and brought a new ice tray but it was all cracked so my fiancé took the part off that one and rebuilt the one we had. Manny «fixed» out leak but we noticed water again later that night. In looking for the source we saw that he had just bypassed the filter which was the source of the leak and didn’t tell us. When my fiancé called him he said he would just install an inline filter instead of fixing the part. He is sending us pictures of the broken part that Home Depot carries and said we can pick one up for a mere $ 50. What? What is a 3 month warranty worth if after 24 hours you won’t honor it? DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE!!!
