So so yummy!!! We bought a groupon, went in for an early dinner with my mom and son. The young man that greeted us was friendly and nice and had 100% knowledge of the menu and what was vegetarian. Our food came out in great time and was fresh, hot and so so good! The servers/cashiers came to check on us, which I love! The restaurant was so cute and clean and they had a great selection of music from the 90’s to today! We were pretty much the only ones there. Enjoyed our time together and our food! Would definitely recommend and can’t wait to go back! Big portion sizes for the price! Well worth it! And don’t forget to tip your server/cashiers!!!

A failed attempt at a more chic version of Noodles & Company. Dishes were decent but cheese was mostly bland and tasteless. Philly Cheesesteak Mac and Wisconsin Mac were both bland despite having ample cheese. ‘Garlic Bread’ was dried out breadsticks brushed with garlic butter. Tomato soup was tasty, but not worth a trip by itself.

I kinda like this place… from the BYO pasta dish option, to going with their menu creations, to the free garlic bread with Unilocal check in. Upon entering the young man at the counter had some personality and swagger you don’t see at corporate pasta chains like OG. We were greated promptly and ordered quickly. No 45 minute wait to be seated here. F*** that. After ordering the food was delivered quickly to the table worth or lucky number. The presentation was clean and simple and the portions large enough to share. We ordered the Spinach Artichoke Mac which was very tasty. The artichokes were very tender and delicious. Our side salad add on was very large as well. I thought we could have had more dressing on the chopped romaine and quartered tomato with sliced red onion but it was still tasty. The bread sticks were served warm and seasoned appropriately with butter and Italian seasoning. I like the lolly pops available if you clean your plate at the end of your meal. They work great for encouraging the kids to finish their meal. Overall great visit! Next time I will drive by the other two places for pasta and head right to Mac Shack.

I’ve passed this place a million times and finally decided to stop in. I got a few things to go and decided I would try a few of their signature macs. The pasta and breadsticks were good but my favorite part was a grilled cheese sandwich with Mac and cheese instead of just cheese it was different and actually was surprisingly really good. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak Mac and the bbq Mac both were good. Service was really fast and the girls in the front were very nice. I will return here In the future for sure.

Really love the service Brittney gave us yesterday. Great customer service, awesome food. Definitely one of my favorite places to eat. Even took my cousin from out of state here.

I cannot say enough great things about this restaurant! I always go to the Charleston location and it has quickly become one of my very favorite places to eat. The food is AMAZING(the truffle macaroni and cheese is my number one choice), the staff is pleasant and the prices are more than reasonable! I have been there more than fifteen times and can honestly say that I have NEVER had a bad meal. I brought a friend of mine there once and she didn’t like what she ordered, as it was different from what she thought it was going to be, and the waiter brought her something else to replace it and didn’t charge her. Additionally, he did the whole thing with a smile. Trust me, this restaurant is a definite DONOTMISS!

It’s been awhile I haven’t been to Mac Shack since my last visit at their first location in the southwest at Durango and Warm Springs last year. Overall my impression of their concept of fresh and built your own pasta dish makes this place interesting and allows you to be inventive. Great for families and groups of friends who are particular with vegan and vegetarian items. I usually get the Broccoli Pesto dish and it is really balanced and delicious but I usually ask to lighten the use of oil. The have cupcakes from Cupcakery for desserts at this location in case you have a sweet tooth or you can have a free tootsiepop at their entrance upon leaving the restaurant. The atmosphere is like a cross between Italian chain Fazzoli and Macaroni Grill with a rustic and modern approach. Staff is attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. Will be back soon!

Love this place. The taco Mac is great. Some stuff is outstanding other items are just okay. This happens at all restaurants. This is a great location. The kids menu is amazing. My kids love everything.

Went to lunch a little later the other day and went to Whole Foods. The selection wasn’t looking so great so I turned to Unilocal,of course, to find nearby and interesting options. Mac Shack was in the same plaza. I saw this place over a year ago when I first moved to Vegas and was supposed to try this place sooner, but never did. I honestly love their slogan, Fork and Spoon Forever; it reminds me of some of my relatives’ homes in HI when I was growing up. They had the super-sized wooden fork and spoon hanging décor in the dining room. Anyway, this being my first time and my lunch break, I was pleasantly surprised that it wasn’t a sit down restaurant. There were two people in front of me, so it gave me a little more time to view the menu selections. I was sold on the Taco Mac after the server showed me the large cereal sized bowl it comes in. So my belief is that if you have to add more condiments to your dish to meet your taste preference, then the dish isn’t so great. With that being said, there wasn’t a need for me to add parmesean cheese or ketchup or siracha. Not too much sour cream on top and it did compliment the taste of the dish. It came with a few stale tortilla chips. And i do wish it had a little more ground beef. I was able to dig right in, it wasn’t scalding hot that I would burn my tongue. My first bite ended with drooping cheese on my chin, which I think is awesome. So every bite thereafter, I needed to cut the cheese, not in the childish context. I could only finish half of my dish. I didn’t get a chance to read the tips from other Unilocalers on this place, but the restaurant tips are literally part of the décor on the walls. 1. Monday night is meat-free night, meaning vegetarian dishes are 20% off. 2. Tuesdays, kids eat free 3. Wine down Wednesdays 4. M — F lunch combo is $ 7.95 5. They have an app so if you’re in the area, you can order and pick up or they can deliver. Oh, and the bathrooms! Very clean! The wall has a huge photo mural that also covers the bathroom door, making it a little hard to fond. The sink is a huge pasta pot, one of the coolest things ever seen! Friendly staff + good food + great deals + comfortable atmosphere + super clean bathroom = 4.5 stars, rounded up to 5STARS and me coming back for more with family and friends.

Mac Shack makes creating your own pasta meal a breeze because all you do is pick your pasta, sauce, and toppings. There’s so many different options that it really made me think of what I wanted… I got the chicken pesto fettuccine with mushrooms and broccoli. I also got a side of their cauliflower gratin. The pasta was more on the al dente side, but I think I prefer that for a pesto dish. The only thing I didn’t like about it was the fact that my pasta was sitting in oil. I understand that some pasta dishes can get oily, but this was like a swimming pool of oil at the bottom of my bowl. It’s not really appetizing to me if there’s oil dripping off of my noodles. Don’t get me wrong, it was still good(had very rich pesto flavor) but I think they were really heavy on the oil. The cauliflower gratin was amazing, though! It was creamy and cheesy at the same time, and the bread crumbs were a little crispy which added even more texture and flavor. It was surprisingly filling, so I guess that this made up for the extremely oily pasta… I think that Mac Shack is a unique concept. They give you good portions for your pasta at an okay price. I’d definitely suggest it here if you’re looking for something heavy for lunch/dinner.

Cool concept. Pasta is the main theme here, but they also have bread, soups, salads and desserts. You can either choose their pre-built pasta selections or build your own. U didn’t want to build my own, so I went with the Crazy Alfredo and added a side salad. My meal was boxed and ready in less than 5 minutes. Crazy Alfredo, has chicken, Italian sausage, shrimp, roasted red pepper, sun-dried tomatoes, mushrooms and jalapeños with fettuccine and alfredo sauce. To be honest, I was underwhelmed by the dish. If I like a meal, I usually eat it fairly quickly. I found myself taking long breaks in between bites and contemplating whether or not to save the rest for my bf, which ended up happening. I enjoyed the salad. It was really fresh with tomatoes, onions and a really tasty vinaigrette dressing. I don’t know why this place fell short for me, but I will be back to try some of their other creations. They have a couple styles of mac and cheese that tickled my fancy, and a dessert called cannoli chips and dip that sounds amazeballs.

I am hesitant to call this place a real restaurant as it is semi-fast food/cafeteria like in my opinion. You go up to the counter where they have pastas lined up in a window and you order and after about minutes, bam… your pasta arrives at your table. So, I’m trying to keep this in perspective. I would liken it to Fazolis or something like that. My wife had the spinach and artichoke mac & cheese while I had the shrimp scampi. I will say that my wife liked hers but I was totally underwhelmed and since she has the ability to write her own review, this one is on my experience. I was very disappointed when the pasta showed up with salad shrimp. There was just a vast gap between what I expected to arrive and those salad shrimp that showed up. I have never seen them used for shrimp scampi before and I must say, I think there is a huge difference in taste and texture. Needless to say, my experience was highly disappointing and I don’t think I will be back as I feel I could get a lot more value for my money elsewhere.

I decided to order from here off Postmates because they were offering a special where one order of Mac N Cheese was free just had to pay for delivery. What a total disappointment. I honestly felt like Kraft Mac N Cheese would’ve been better than the watered down crap I got. I ordered the Cheddar Mac and I might as well of just been eating plain noodles. The only good thing about this place was my Caesar salad, and even that was nothing to write home about. I am just really shocked by how bad my food was because they had a lot of positive reviews… I would hope I just caught them on a bad day but I have a feeling they really are this bad all the time just sadly over hyped on Unilocal. Smh.

Ahhhh okay. so this place had amazing reviews and I love pasta so I had to check it out but here is my concern. Their garlic ‘breadsticks’ are lame. And what legit Italian place has lame bread??? None. That is right. So off the bad I was skeptical. I ended up having the wheat penne with vodka sauce and added pepper jack cheese. That was actually good. The penne was a bit weird but that could have been because they were wheat. The vodka sauce was really awesome probably the only thing I would want from here again. The staff here were all really nice and friendly. They helped us wIth everything across the board even with to go boxes at the end. This isn’t a normal restaurant type place it’s more of a to go area with additional seating. Think chipotle style. So looking for a nice dining experience probably should go elsewhere. If you’re okay with it then it can be good for a quick easy pasta meal. However I probably won’t be back since I thought the food in general want mediocre.

I’ve been at the Summerlin location multiple times and finally decided to do a review! The Summerlin location is way better than the Warm Springs location! I keep coming back to this location because they have better service, the food tastes a lot better, it’s cleaner, and the architecture gives a more rustic feel as opposed to the warm springs location… Which makes you feel like you’re walking in to a Cici’s pizza. No thanks ! The price is reasonable and they are very generous with their portion size. I always get the cheddar mac and end up taking half home(unless I’m starving, then I can finish the whole thing). I was just here yesterday, and my bf decided to be dangerous and try the grilled Mac and Cheese… To our surprise, it was delicious for a Grilled Cheese sandwich. Like a fatty, I came back today and had brunch with my brother. I tried the grilled Mac and cheese again. It was Soo good ! The staff is amazing and always nice right when you walk in. Summerlin location all the way!

First trip to Mac Shack today and it was a great choice! I first noticed their store sign when I was going to Claim Jumper(which is in the same parking lot) a few months back. The wife & I decided we wanted to try it and today was the day! Mac Shack is reasonably priced and very good quality food. It’s a nice casual dining experience. I got the Philly cheesesteak Mac and my wife got the chicken Alfredo. Both were very tasty dishes. The space is big & although we didn’t bring the kids we could have. It’s a very diverse menu & I will be back again to try something else. That’s not to say I didn’t enjoy my dish! Both were wonderful & we had some to take home to share with the rugrats. I even grabbed a lolly pop on the way out even though I didn’t clear my plate! Shhhh don’t tell anyone!

Semi-fast food at a reasonable price. Mac Shack is a good, quick option for lunch or dinner in the Summerlin area. They offer lunch specials and even delivery. On the two occasions I have ordered pick up from here, I have stuck with the variations on mac and cheese. My favorite, the Asiago and bleu cheese mac and cheese is no long on the menu, so I ordered the buffalo Mac and cheese on my second visit. Both are decent and the portions are enough for two meals, so it’s a good option for lunch and dinner.
