I had them twice now(about 6 months apart) and actually ordered the same items(as their photos of their other items werent very appealing). I ordered their grilled cheese with hot dog/sausage. I liked the idea of the sandwich more then actually eating it. You would think after eating it the first time and not enjoying the grease of the oil coating my mouth, that I wouldn’t subject myself to eating it a second time(even if it was 6 months apart) — I blame my fiancé! I rather make this sandwich at home where I can control how much oil/butter to use just to make the bread toasted… toasted bread does not mean you need enough oil to grease your mouth and your fingers…

At Saturday Night Truck Stop the other night Lola D’s Poutine Traditional(Fresh Cut French fried potatoes with cheese curds and chicken gravy) as seen in the pic. was absolutely the BOMB! If you do not know what this is or have ever tasted their Poutine, it is a must. I have had several now at Lola’s including their Poutine Italian, Meatloaf Poutine, Poutine Chile and of course the Poutine Traditional. Simple flavors blended and served to create and amazing taste and hardy meal.

Amazing food! Try the Italian and Mediterranean wrap… Vegetarian and oh so good. Lola also makes so many other amazing things — ask her for what is new — like poutine, and fried cheesecake! :)

If you haven’t found Lola D’s Kitchen around Las Vegas don’t worry you will. They are becoming renown for their Canadian poultine fries with gravy and Mediterranean wraps. Totally awesome good. My favorite is the Thai One On… If you want to see for yourself go to YouTube and search for«Lola D’s Media» where movie producer Jr. Spielberg from A Real Live Pink Bat Productions keeps making these funny but awesome movie trailers with different storyboard themes from events around town they participate at. You will laugh your wraps off as you enjoy the fun and food antics of Lola and her movie characters. Evil Eater Ed and Secret Agent Johnny D. Vegas are the evil vs. good food in episode 2 From Brooklyn with Love. Of course I can’t tell you the outcome of it or I’d have to kill you myself… Hahaha. Follow them on Facebook and Twitter too so you can show up at their next event! Or hang out with them on Friday nights when they are in the parking lot by Einsteins Bagels and the Salon at the southeast corner of Sahara and Fort Apache. Make sure you ask them if they will be there with their fans as their other weekend days and some weekday nights are quickly filling their time taking them away from their usual Friday night gathering! Lola D’s Kitchen just like your mom wish she really could be… Bön Appetite by A Real Live Pink Bat Me Breast cancer survivor and a real live baseball player from the Las Vegas Sun Devils men’s baseball team.

lola d’s is quickly becoming my favorite food truck in town. i guarantee you have never seen a cleaner kitchen either in a truck or in a restaurant. i’m a virgo so i have a deep appreciation for the cleanliness of this truck. i also don’t eat meat so they fact that they cater to my non-meatness is a huge plus! i’ve only had 2 things here. poutine — french fries with gravy and cheese curds. O M G it’s freakin good!!! in case y’all didn’t know, it’s a canadian thing. mediterranean wrap — it is the freshest, tastiest vegetarian wrap i’ve ever eaten. made to order. super crisp lettuce and other greens mixed with baby heirloom tomatoes, cucumbers and their own vinaigrette and then wrapped up in a spinach tortilla served with homemade chips. so good!!! i totally luv lola d’s!!!
