Why y’all are missin’ out… They serve the best Cabeza and Lengua Tacos period… If you want Al Pastor, hit up El Buen Pastor or El Pastorcito… Best Asada is at Los Tacos… Nothing like a freshly pressed tortilla… They offer corn AND flour Best of all, still $ 1.50 each(Tripas are $ 2.00 and pretty good too) Pro Tip: Order it to-go, and they’ll pack it up nicely with salsas, radish, and sometimes gtilled onions(some vendors don’t even do that)…ALOHA! **Name Changed to Tacos Sinaloa** Unilocal100CHALLENGE2013−(14÷100) «Gimmie Some Head and Tongue!»

I wasn’t hungry when my husband stopped for tacos at Karina’s 2, but whatever was cooking on that truck smelled so good that I’ll have to go back and see what kind of veggie toppings I can get on their fresh corn or flour tortillas! It was a Sunday night(post-Obama rally with performance by Maná) and the corner of Vegas and Decatur was crowded, and the parking situation not so pretty. This crowd knew where to go for great food! My husband was very impressed with the tacos he tried, most notably because of the soft, spongy fresh corn tortillas that a woman on the truck was pressing and griddling to order. At less than $ 2 per taco, they were a good value. I drank a cup of horchata that was rich, creamy, and had excellent flavor– a big step up from the drink full of gritty, raw rice powder I had just tried at Tacos El Buen Pastor/El Pastorcito. As a bonus, you can buy paletas inside the convenience store in the same parking lot.
