It’s been so long I don’t even remember my original review. Went last night with my buddy and was pleasantly surprised. Food was good and service was great. I don’t drink. My buddy had one beer. Only reason I mention that is because sometimes at that type of establishment i find if you’re not really drinking you don’t get treated so great. That was not the case last night. Our waitress was excellent. Always checking to see if I wanted a soda refill or if we wanted water. And, she was friendly. I’m not quite sure why so many negative reviews. We didn’t put a penny in a machine or drink but had one beer between 2 people and some food. Food was good. Service was good. For a Wednesday night it was surprisingly crowded.

This place has terrible ownership. If you want to be disrespected by the owner feel free to come in on a Sunday and let him talk down to you and your friends. I have never been more offended at any other restaurant. Total shame that they don’t care about their patrons. GOELSEWHERE And obviously by their response you can tell they don’t care about anything. What restaurant or restaurant owner insult their patrons as I previously stated. Go to the Distill for FANTASTIC management. Sad even their past reviews from their old employees state the same

I have tried three times to love this place. The food is great! The service by the waitresses is horrible! They are great when they introduce themselves and then they are never seen again. A runner brings the food. We watched on all three times, when we wanted a refill, a group of servers talking and texting. Then, each time looked irritated to have to come over. Sad.

So my wife and I show up on a weekend afternoon for our first visit to this location. We were excited to find a new spot to try. They have a small out door patio area and we enjoyed the fact that they do not allow smoking. We enjoy gaming and know the«rules of engagement» for complimentary beverages; minimum buy in of $ 20, max coin bet along with continuous play. We settled in and ordered two appetizers off the menu to share which we both enjoyed. As the day shift bartender was getting off shift we settled up for our food order and tipped her out before she left. We continued to play awhile longer on the swing shift. When we were done playing we got up to leave and the new bartender on shift points out that we have a tab for our beverages. I have to tell you I was speechless. We were not ordering doubles, top shelf liquor or team gambling. My wife had three well cocktails and I had two due to the fact that I was driving. Granted, I do not consider ourselves to be big time players by any means, but I know we played a hundred dollars between the two of us. I paid our liquor tab and I left not happy about the way I was treated. I felt as though we had been«handled» like some bait and switch scheme between the day and swing bartenders. We will not be coming back. Pity really, but there you have it.

Two stars only as the kitchen did a fantastic job on the food(Philly Cheesesteak, Fries, Salad and Chicken Fingers) and the dark haired Bartendress is simply one of the best in Summerlin bar none — attentive, killer cocktails and holds the bar solid. Only two stars as the service was not good, inattentive and dragged. Server called me(50 year old female) «hon» and«babe» — gag, I can survive her lack of decorum, no biggie. She also sat at the table to take order. Really crappy part, this is the second time I’ve been shorted on change when paying my check. Same waitress, not cool at all. I owned a successful restaurant/bar for 7 ½ years, I know the business enough. When you pay run over your check in DETAIL, if paying in cash recount your change. My last visit a $ 20 for a 5.50 additional tab was returned as $ 6.00 change — shorted $ 8.50. When mentioned she brought back $ 14 so still shorted .50 — whatever, we left. Comfy neighborhood bar, great bartender, decent kitchen, cool location — owners seriously needs to tighten up service, get a handle on the money situation.

This place is so small! We were looking for a new restaurant to go for family dinner-get together and this is NOT the place. The Jack Daniels ribs tasted like pure whiskey and a bit too strong for my liking. I feel the same way about the prices ! This is NOT a steakhouse, so why the high prices? Every entrée was served by itself unless you pay extra for your sides ie. baked potato or veggies etc. For the 4 of us dinner came to $ 119.88.I felt that was a bit steep to leave hungry and dissatisfied. I have no problem shelling out a hundred bucks for a nice family meal but this couldn’t be further from that! I would NOT recommend this place at all.

Service is hit or miss here. Beer selection is average I normally go with something from the Big Dog Brewing company. The specials are good when you can catch them. Normally during football season the half off appetizers are good other than that I’d pass on them all. The definite go to at this establishment for me is the Philly Steak Fries a half order is more than enough to feed a person. Stay away from the queso dip it lacks flavor.

Great food and great service. The chicken on the salads is freshly grilled and some of the best I have had. Love the Chinese chicken salad. The wings are good too. The place could use more light it is very dark inside.

This place is tiny! And there’s often a wait. But the food is really good! My very favorite thing is Fettuccini Alfredo with Filet Mignon Medallions. It’s hard for me to get anything else there it’s so good. They have some amazing«day of the week» specials. For example, Sunday is half price on steaks! No kidding! What a deal! And on tuesdays is $ 6 burgers.

Terrible service. Ordered the Cobb salad minus tomatoes and blue cheese. When it was delivered there were tomatoes and when I pointed it out the server said they would correct it. She brought the same salad back a few minutes later in disarray, they just picked out the tomatoes instead of making a new salad. I ask for ranch in the side and she told me they were out but didn’t offer any alternatives. Who runs out of ranch dressing, especially when your restaurant is in the parking lot of a grocery store! Will NEVER go back.

I have eaten here with 4 or 5 friends every Tuesday and Sunday night pretty religiously. The place used to be great. But over the course of our last 5 tries s the food has been horrible. Multiple items returned on multiple trips by multiple people in the group. I mean one night a burger was sent back 3 times from one person. The cooks CANNOT cook meat. I have yet to receive a properly cooked steak. Medium arrives with no pink. Medium rare arrives rare. I give up. Last night was the end we all agreed cutters is off the routine. 3 of 5 of us are all in the restaurant business and all are pretty accustomed to mistakes. But this is just ridiculous. We can only imagine the food being wasted in this kitchen as we know we are not the only ones sending food back. On several occasions we have seen quiet a few orders headed back. I’m giving them 2 stars because there servers. Mary, heather, and Taylor. Are great girls with great personalities. But the rest is in need of serious repairs. Bye John Cutters.

I came here specifically for the $ 6 burger on Tuesdays. It was a random last-minute visit, and, I’d say that you are getting your bang for the buck because the burger is enormous. So enormous, that you can finish about half of it and be stuffed. I personally wasn’t too fond of the burger at all even though it was a good price. However, I have been thinking about their Philly cheesesteak fries, and had cravings for it days after my visit. It was sooooooooo good. I was pleasantly surprised at the tender/juicy/fatty quality of the steak that is chopped up on top. The cheese sauce is the nacho cheese type that’s melted(which I normally can’t stand), but it worked well with this dish, and I really thought it was legit. Unfortunately, that was regular price. I’d for sure come back for those fries though.

After finding out about their loyalty club online, I had to stop in & join! I’ve known about this place for quite some time and never made it here. It is a bit off the beaten path unless your path takes you deep into Summerlin. The loyalty club includes gaming promos and a birthday freebie, so count me in! After the bartender signed me up, she told me $ 10 play would be available right away after earning 20 points. They have a sign above the bar to join their text club, and I did, getting an offer for $ 20 match play. I was informed that offer was the same as the $ 10 for earning 20 points. She told me she would put $ 10 on my card for next time. I shall return! It would be nice to get both offers cause it’s confusing as to if they are one and the same offer??? It’s a small place with one big room for dining and gaming/drinking etc. at the bar. Must be nonsmoking, I believe. Outside seating is also available. The menu has many different apps, meals, etc. to choose from and they have a Sunday steak special for 50% off steaks.

I like a drink called the Moscow Mule. I am not picky about the brands of the boozes that are used to construct it, but I am quite picky about how it is served: in a copper mug. This place makes an excellent Moscow Mule. Atmosphere is great, the Pandora-generated playlist was some of the best bar music I’ve ever experienced, and the staff was fantastic. I believe the girl who waited on us was also the girl who mixed my drinks; a jack of all trades! Drinks came out fast, food came out fast and was well cooked, and while not gourmet it was definitely a notch well above typical bar food. I very rarely drink and I very rarely socialize in bars(maybe those are related?) but if I had to pick a bar to go to this would be on my short list. I can’t explain why it’s a 4-star instead of a 5-star review. Four seems like the right number but I can’t pinpoint any specifics and say«this: this here is why I can’t give you five stars.» C’est la vie.

If you’re craving steak(especially on a Sunday) this place is a must! I had heard good things about JC over a year ago, but I didn’t wanna make the 40 minute drive from Aliante. A girlfriend and I agreed to make the journey over the weekend and boy! So worth the drive! On Sunday, all steaks are half off. They offer three different varieties: NY, filet or ribeye. We both chose ribeye, which is normally $ 35. Typically steaks come with fries or a salad, but on Sunday you have to purchase sides separately. We settled on cheesy mashed potatoes and skillet mac and cheese, which were both $ 7. The steak was incredible. Tender, juicy and packed with a ton a flavor. Not to mention, it was huge(18 oz). It definitely brought me to a happy place. The sides are described very well in the menu. When you think cheesy mashed potatoes or skillet mac and cheese, it sounds like you’re in for a real treat. Not so much. The cheesiness from the mashed potatoes come from a slice of Kraft poorly melted on the top. Underneath, the bed of mashed potatoes are real potatoes, but they could use seasoning, milk and butter. The mac and cheesy is nothing special. It’s tasted better than boxed mac and cheese, but for $ 7 I expect more. The service could use some work. I ordered my steak medium well(crime, I know) and it came out close to rare. They put it back on the grill for a bit longer, and it came back well done it most places. I also ordered a Bloody Mary and specifically asked for them to not make it spicy, and it was spicy. I told the waitress, she did nothing. $ 10 down the toilet. I’m definitely returning, but I’ll probably just get the steak next go around.

We enjoyed our lunch here. With a coupon, the wife and I stopped by while running errands. I had the 10oz burger with nothing fancy, well, except bacon. It was fantastic. The missus had the Red Rock Cobb Salad. We arrived to a semi packed place(mid-afternoon on a weekend). Although almost full, we got a booth near the front door. The décor is ‘sports bar’ with booths and bar tables with high chairs. The servers go for short shorts and tshirts. The place was hoppin’. Our server was friendly and quick — even with the crowd. She kept tabs on us throughout our meal and we never lacked for service. We ordered our food and it came out in the normal time frame. The burger was cooked as I had asked and was one tasty burger. The missus enjoyed her salad and even got to take some home for a snack later. This is a place worth the drive out(if you don’t live in Summerlin) or stopping by(if you do). Prices are a tick high, but not wallet busting — maybe a buck or two higher. John Cutter is on our list of places we can go to if we’re on that side of the valley.

Dropped by on Sunday after the hike so I could catch the Panthers vs Seahawks game. At the time it was already 24 – 0 Carolina(sorry Roger) so I decided to order a Bloody Mary and bacon, eggs, toast breakfast($ 8) and watch the end of the first half before heading home. Sundays are ½ off on Steaks. So the Ribeye which normally goes for $ 35 is $ 17…that’s a good deal. Unfortunately the special didn’t apply to the steak and eggs breakfast. Place is a bit dark, but it is non-smoking for those that care. They have gaming at the bar. I’ve been here probably a dozen times over the years. They have several 4 top tables, and booths, and a few larger tables that can seat 8 – 10 so ok for groups. Breakfast was good, nothing too exciting. Only 2 strips of bacon :(Bloody Mary was tasty and hit the spot perfectly. Service was good. It wasn’t too busy which surprised me. Closest bar to Red Rock Canyon.

John Cutters is my go to place for steaks especially on Sundays.(psst they are half off!) The steaks here are so good that I don’t need any steak sauce. I’ve been to steak houses on the strip, and Summerlin but I prefer John Cutters. The steak is so juicy! My husband who likes his well done said even his was tender and juicy even though his was cooked well. I like getting the fully loaded potato with my meal. The potato is huge enough to share but there have been days where we want two sides. We flock to the Mac and cheese as our second choice. The food is wonderful so it can get pretty crowded on a Sunday evening. Especially since the space isn’t that big. If you want steak they serve it throughout the day so I would try to head there for an early lunch!

Rude service. Went here a few weeks ago to play some VP and the cracked out older female bartender completely ignored us. When we asked for a menu she looked at us and threw them in front of us, and walked away. We left shortly thereafter. Why is this place still in business?

They have good specials on steaks! The first time I went here was on a Saturday, and their Saturday special was surf and turf for $ 19! The quality of the steak was great too. Tender and juicy. Lobster was good too. Today I came for the Sunday special, which is half off all steaks. I got the petite filet with a side of vegetables. Tender, flavorful(with a hint of spicy), and satisfying. The petite filet is only a 6 ounce, but it filled me up. The wet burrito is also good too. It includes rice, beans, pico, and chicken on the inside, and smoothered in spicy green chile verde sauce on the outside. They have patio seating! The inside is dark, has terrazzo flooring, wooden beams, and a section of the walls is made of stone. Kind of makes you feel like you’re not in Vegas. I didn’t really care for their coffee, but I’m a coffee snob. Their bathrooms are clean. The music is loud in the bathroom, but that’s okay. Go here for the week-end steak specials!
