This restaurant is a 3.5 but the service made me decide to go for a 4 star rating! What sucked was that they’re currently not serving alcohol anymore so if you’re looking for some sake with your sushi, stay clear! The garlic tuna and salmon here was super good thought but what was a downer was that they put way too much rice that I took some out to eat comfortably and to enjoy the fish more. However the service was great. They were efficient on clearing plates and refilling our drinks. I would come again but I wish they figure out their alcohol situation.

Great service surpassed only by great food! It was lunchtime on a hot day and we don’t think we can handle AYCE sushi. But since we were craving for good sushi we decided to visit Jjanga at Decatur Blvd. We were greeted graciously and were seated right away. Sarah, our server, was quite attentive and made sure we had what we needed/wanted. We ordered Chirashi bowl from Chef Jjanga and were served with one of the best sushi bowls we’ve had so far! All the fish cuts were fresh and tasted really great. Can’t help but take picture of the wonderful work of art. Thanks Chef Jjanga for a wonderful culinary experience. We will definitely come back for more great tasting morsels.

All Sushi is really fresh. My son love their Teriyaki Chicken. Everything is great! The customer is great also. Will bring my friends here for next gathering!

How is it I drive clear across town with a party of ten and you have no alcohol ATALL! On top of that our server completely stopped coming after the first order to where I had to go hunt down a new one. It turns out he was done for the day and didn’t say anything! What a horrible place that I will never ever come back to!

I think there was an Indian proverb that talks about being fooled once was regrettable but being fooled twice then you are the fool. I am the fool. I tried JJANGA in west of 215 a while back because some iPhone repair guys said JJ was way better than Sushimon. Since I live close by the west location off I went to that one. No, it wasn’t better than sushimon by any imagination, save for the bigger space and fancier décor and benches for my derrière. But then again I came to eat sushi not sit on sushi. At the west locale, I did not like their sauce all over the sushi and was not fond of the service there. I swore I would never go back again. A friend said the original place was better and wanted to meet there and try it out. Well, guess what? This place is worse. The tuna fish is weird. They don’t look fresh. The tuna is not firm but almost like its been lightly ground thru a grinder. But it’s very red probably due to food coloring. It looked like the tuna and salmon but had liberal amounts of color added in. The salmon looked rubbery so I did not even bother to try them. I don’t like sauce drizzled on my sushi either. We aren’t eating salads here. The eel came out big but it got leathery when cold. The salmon roe did not look or taste that fresh. They looked like they were starting to gel together. The rice less rolls were good but I don’t like sauce on top of them. The nude rolls and octopus were 2 good items here. The rice rolls are either wrapped in rice noodle sheets like spring rolls or they are in cucumber sheets. These rice less rolls seem to be their signature. The miso soup is an experience into the bland devoid of tofu or seaweed. It tastes like they diluted the bottom of the pot with more water to serve more people. The service was good and bad. While they cleared the plates away quick, no one bothered to refill your water. Until the check came out that is. I’m guessing they want you alive to pay the bill. As it was a 2pm lunch, there weren’t that many tables eating to begin with. On the menu it says there is happy hour from 11pm-1am. I am guessing you can get the lunch pricing and menu at that time. Well I am not impressed when I am sober so I don’t think I will be impressed when I am drunk eating at that time either. Pass. Believe the 3 star Elite reviewers, just go to somewhere closer like the one near Tea Planet. Lunch is $ 20.95 and dinner is $ 5 more. Pricing is in line with other sushi restaurants in the valley.

Great place for AYCE sushi in Chinatown. They have a very good and generous ayce menu which includes many items excluded at most others. The fish was on point, and the service was attentive. Love that they are open late, and on Monday! The interior was very vibrant and inviting. The rest is in the pictures, Cupcake.

Bomb!!! Love the shumai, shrimp tempura, miso soup, fried scallop, fresh man roll, garlic wing, spicy wing, jackpot special, screaming orgasam, Cajun albacore! Mochi is good here too! It’s our new favorite ayce place! Very fresh fish and cute inside too! Awesome spot!

AYCE or affordable a la carte, JJANGA is a good fusion of price and taste. Go in with the expectation that you just paid $ 3 for a spicy tuna roll; fish is not freshly caught and sliced a-la-Tsukiji, nor is rice lovingly fanned like a form of art. Instead this place just hits the spot with affordability as well as a lack of formality or pretentiousness. AYCE rules: — $ 20.95 for lunch(45 min only) — $ 25.95 for dinner(no time limit) — Extra charge on unfinished items. No sharing between AYCE and a la carte people of course. A la carte: — Small hot dishes priced around $ 3 — Basic rolls at $ 3 for 8 pieces — Soup and salad $ 2 — Fancier rolls $ 8 A good fit for sushi on a budget.

4.5 stars! Came here for a lunch buffet at the recommendation of some local family. Probably the best meal we had during our Vegas trip! Lunch AYCE is $ 21(I think dinner is $ 26). Some of the more expensive items aren’t included in the lunch meal, but that was fine. Kids are half priced and you can opt for the AYCE option for them, or order the kids meal separately. I love how they give you small portions of everything, so you don’t get full from eating just one or two things, but can try everything. They don’t give you big balls of rice with your nigiri or in the rolls either. The fish was super fresh, and even their hot food items were good(garlic chicken wings!). They even have a small bowl of udon and a bunch of other appetizer dishes… all are small portions so you can try a lot of them. Service was alright. They came to take our order, but you can tell they slowed down by the time the 3rd or 4th round came along. We love to eat! The only thing to watch out for is they charge a 20% tip for large parties. I’ve heard of 15% or 18%, but 20% seemed a bit high, especially since the service wasn’t all that great. It’s the only thing keeping my review at 4 – 4.5 instead of 5. Oh yeah, AYCE includes dessert!!! Green tea and red bean ice cream is so good! I wouldn’t hesitate to come back next time I’m in Vegas!

I went for dinner last night around 9pm, there was a little wait. I was surprised that they didn’t have their liquor license, but they said they’ll get it back in a few weeks. I’d call thought of you’re interested before you go down. We went here because they have an all you can eat option for $ 26. Which is a really good deal, you can choose anything on the menu. I’m not an all you can eat kind of girl, so they also had an ala carte option. I ordered the spicy scallop and crab roll, eight pieces for only $ 3! And the roll was spicy, normally things aren’t when they say they are, so I was very happy that they weren’t lying. I normally use sriracha like ketchup, which is about a 2 for me. This roll would have been a 7. I also ordered their kabocha soup. This was surprisingly sweet, but not overly sweet. I liked the consistency as well, loose with a little grit. The service as interesting. I believe that everyone is pooling, so everyone helps everyone. But at times this seemed like it causes confusion because they didn’t communicate with each other. Everyone was friendly which is good. At times I felt like they didn’t understand what we wanted, but I’m not sure why. The restaurant itself is cute. Asian designs. Nothing to complain about. I noticed they also had karaōke rooms available, but I’m not sure how they work. I’d love to go back here to try more items in their menu.

My first Unilocal review!!! This place is one of the best AYCE sushi here in Vegas. Fresh food abound! Freshmen roll is a must. Im gonna tie this one with Yamasushi in terms of food quality and flavor. Other japenese restos produce similarly enticing selections visually, but otherwise bland and unexciting. Jjanga — a bang for your buck… and sushi cravings!

I went in for lunch 3÷15÷16 around 12:30. I was expecting it to be busy but I was seated right away. I had a whole booth and pretty much whole corner of the restaurant to myself. I was then given water and a menu. I opted for AYCE lunch @ $ 20.95. AYCE includes most apps, rolls and dessert, but all of the items listed in RED are for dinner only. I chose the following items: Gyoza Kiss Me roll Japanese Lasagna roll Double D roll Joe’s Special Roll The rolls are broken down on the menu by type. So for example all the spicy rolls are listed together, as well as the baked rolls and shrimp tempura rolls etc. My server recommended to me two rolls; the kiss me and double d. And I chose the lasagna roll and Joe’s special roll myself. Turns out ¾ rolls I ordered had shrimp tempura in them. The gyoza were tasty, they came fresh and hot to the table. There was 2 per order. There was no dipping sauce that accompanied them, but instead the sauce was drizzled over the top. I would order these again. 3⁄5. Next came the kiss me roll. Inside it had shrimp tempura, crab, cucumber, and on the top was avocado, spicy tuna and screaming orgasm sauce. I really liked this roll and would order again 4⁄5. Double D roll had shrimp tempura and cucumber on the inside, and spicy crab, tuna, salmon and orgasm sauce. This roll was similar to the kiss me and I liked it. The orgasm sauce is different than most sauces, it’s not very heavy and it’s quite tasty. 4⁄5 Joe’s special roll had shrimp tempura and cucumber inside, and tuna, avocado and spicy garlic ponzu sauce on top. I enjoyed this roll the best. The spicy ponzu sauce was a good complement to the fish. 4⁄5 Japanese lasagna roll is my go to roll whenever I eat sushi. It’s a california roll baked with cream cheese and eel sauce on top. It’s really yummy but super rich. I chose to eat this last because of the richness, and actually It turned out to be my least favorite too. 3⁄5 All in all, I would come back here for lunch. My waitress was sweet, the rolls came out quickly and the price can’t be beat for AYCE. Also they have karaōke rooms so I think I will bring some friends and we will have sushi and sake and do some singing.

Atmosphere, very laid back joint that is open till 2am in the morning. Perfect for late night sushi cravings in Las Vegas! I arrived to Las Vegas around 11pm on a Wednesday night, so my GF and I were hungry after a 4 hour drive from LA. We were craving sushi, so we were amazed to see an all you can eat sushi restaurant was open till 2am. Surprisingly, there was a good amount of people at the restaurant. The waiter had a thick accent but we were able to communicate. We had the AYCE, so we started with some hand rolls and a few California rolls. We then noticed they had a monkey burrito! At first I was hesitant to try it, but I ended up trying it anyways. It was actually really good. It’s served in a plate and looks like a wrap. It contains crab, shrimp tempura, spicy tuna, avocado with spicy mayo and eel sauce. That would have to be my favorite item in the menu. Overall, this restaurant was very good. Back home, we don’t have any sushi spots that are open till 2am, so that’s a big plus. I noticed the shopping center was a bit sketchy, but the food was good, so it was worth it.

My friend wanted to do AYCE sushi, and we thought we’d try a place we’ve never been to. Jjanga has been on my list for awhile, so why not. The price was right, coming it at a buck or two cheaper than Umiya that I usually go to. Our server was friendly, dealing with our rowdy bunch throughout our meal. All the food was good, but they did forget a few things along the way. I definitely wasn’t a fan of how they handled the check, which bumped them down to 3* instead of 4*. I believe it was the manager who came over and handed us the bill, and then awkwardly stood there as the 5 of us pulled out cards and cash and tried to figure out how we were divying up the bill. I get that we were there for a long time and they were effectively cutting us off, but there were more tactful ways of doing it. Not sure if our server asked the manager to handle it or he took it upon himself, but again, there are more polite ways to bring us the check and give us time to sort it out. I’d go here again, but if I’m picking, I’ll stick with Umiya.

I’m definitely a huge fan! My co-worker found this place when she went a while back based on a recommendation by a family member. I’m SO glad she told us about this. The place does take reservations, but when called they said they had more then enough seats for us. We got there on a Wednesday around 5:30pm. So you can order just from the regular menu, but I don’t know why anyone would. For $ 24.99(dinner) you get all you can eat items. The items highlighted in red(their uni, mochi, scallops for example) are only one per person. However, if someone in your group doesn’t particularly like those items you can enjoy theirs. We got so much stuff. I highly recommend getting the scallop appetizer, the garlic tuna, the seaweed salad, their garlic edamame. Honestly, everything we had was super fresh and tasty. The servers came around often and food came out fast. I cannot wait to go back there!

A super groovy new friend of mine suggested we have sushi here, I live in the area so I must have passed by a million times and never noticed it. Wow, what a great experience we had, the restaurant was busy and lively, however we were sat immediately. It is a cute restaurant that is super comfortable and cozy, I enjoyed the atmosphere. We did AYCE, and were super pleased with our selection of rolls. We took two suggestions on rolls from our server and she did us proud because those sushi rolls were Amazing! I am so excited, I have a fantastic sushi restaurant so close to my house, I will be back for sure! The two of us ordered 11 rolls and some appetizers we just split everything it was so delicious. I highly recommend AYCE, here because the menu is quite impressive, if you are into sushi you will love it here. I liked how the rolls were less rice and more fresh product so we could try several rolls without being stuffed from rice overkill. Their sauces are delicious, the ginger sauce, screaming orgasm sauce, yum yum sauce etc, were on point depending on the roll selection. They were on point with clearing empty dishes and keeping our drink glasses full of iced tea and water! I have listed what we ordered below, all delicious sushi rolls! I will have to reference my review next time so we can do a repeat! crab ball appetizer Washington roll Cowboy special roll Spider roll Japanese Lasagna Mountain roll Crunch roll Caterpillar roll Wo7 roll Jackpot roll California crunch roll Tiger roll red bean ice cream dessert green tea ice cream dessert

I would rate this an overall 4.5 stars. I really like the location being real close to the strip compared to other AYCE jap places. We were greeted and seated quickly without a wait. Our initial server was rather rude and disinterested in being there. She was reluctant to explain the concept to one of our guess. Fortunately she was replaced by someone much more attentive Sushi was simply excellent and just the right small amount of rice combined with super fresh ingredients. In addition they have Uni which is a must for me. Their rice-less rolls were interesting but did not have wow factor. Poke and sashimi salad was great. Stay away from the sushi burritos, too much rice and fake crab. Overall I will definitely be back to try it again

Cannot go wrong with some JJANGA! Been here a couple times with friends and once on a date. The atmosphere is set for you to relax and enjoy time with your friends while you have no choice but to listen to Asian(mostly Korean) music play throughout the restaurant. Come hungry since they do offer AYCE for a great lunch price of $ 20.95. The variety of rolls are good, and the seafood quality is good, but I always look forward to their Chef Specials. Just let them know what fish you enjoy the most and they will prep something up for ya. What I could not get tired of was their Oysters! They are prepared perfectly with a kick Unfortunately they have a one time order(3 per person). Another favorite of mine to look forward to is the Grapefruit Sake! There will be a party the day I No worries on paying extra for it since it comes with your AYCE. Personally I am not a fan of grapefruit, although it really compliments the sake itself. Big thanks to Hickey for getting me a hickey that one night. nahh, those days are over. He sure can make one hell of a salmon special though. To Jjanga himself, you are appreciated for hosting me and my Unilocal buddies, as well as preparing us a birthday ice cream dish. I would have to say that the biggest problem is usually making contact with the servers. Like many other places that I have been to(which is why I cant complain much), they seem to act def at times. JJANGA is definitely on my top 5 for AYCE sushi and I plan to visit many more times.
