This was supposed to be a fun ladies night away from the kids and husband’s. Turned out to be a bad experience. The service was super slow and the waiter was not friendly at all. He rarely came to our table to see if we needed anything else. Not to mention they only have one co-ed bathroom(disgusting). The way they calculate the gratuity is from the full price menu mind you we were there on happy hour! The gratuity came out to be $ 84 if the service would have been great our group wouldn’t have cared to tip that much for excellent service. I will never return to this establishment.

I was so excited to come and have dinner and drinks with my friend here… then we got there… there is only ONECOEDBATHROOM for the whole reatraunt and bar long wait just to use the restroom and on top of that there was NOSOAP in the bathroom! The food was NOT all that great don’t get the pasta there our friend got it and she said it had no taste to it at all… I got sweet potato totts with marsh mellow and I swear I had like 7 marshmallows covering my totts. THEN we asked our server to split our check and he had an attitude and didn’t want to split the check for us so WE did the math for him and split our own check basically!!! Then just to let everyone know you pay automatic gratuity based on full priced dinner and drinks! Now happy hour special… out server was NOT good at all he did not deserve an $ 80 tip!!! This place was horrible and I’ll never come here again.

The food is sooooo amazing. HOWEVER… The service is unbelievably slow which is why I only gave it 3 stars. Took me 30mins to get a glass of wine, and over an hour for my food. I’m a pretty understanding person, but if you don’t have enough staff to serve your customers then maybe it’s time to expand a little. Never the less the caprese salad is OUTOFTHISWORLD. Better than mastros or any other restaurant in Vegas. Mac n cheese is also phenomenal. Would definitely come back but maybe at a different time.

Herbs & Rye from the bar scene perspective gets 5 starz from us. We haven’t ate there yet, but have enjoyed the crafted cocktails on a few occasions. Took a couple friends last night that hadn’t been before. They were impressed by the cocktail craftsmanship. We were lucky enough to be served by the only female mixologist, Emily & she’s the bomb! When we were in New Orleans we found out that Herbs & Rye consistently wins the annual cocktail competitions & they are so modest about it. Emily was wearing her mixology pin award on her vest. They also dress to impress — very professional & passionate about their craft. Our friend asked for Campari & Emily suggested a better brand for her to try & it beat out Campari. Another Italian Brand pictures here…

The drinks were great and the food was quite delicious. It is a bit out of the way if you’re staying in the strip. Expect more locals than tourists here. Our bartender(forgot his name, but he’s a cool Asian dude like myself) was fantastic and suggested really great drinks. Come for the happy hour! The steak prices are legit!

Every time I come here I’m impressed by the half price happy hour steaks and the amazing food in general. The appetizers are bomb, my favorite is the beef carpaccio. My usual order Is a medium rare filet mignon and either cheesy broccoli or sweet potato tots. Although I have pretty much tried all the sides and they are all amazing. The food is always on point. The only time I’ve been disappointed was when my friend and I ordered the cookie with ice cream and it was so clearly burnt we just ate the middle and left the rest untouched. The bartenders and the drinks are out of this world, I really enjoy the era’s of the drinks and that majority of their menu is craft cocktails. Although I’m a Riesling drinker. I will definitely be coming back.

I have been wanting to come here for a long time, since I always pass by it. Me and the boyfriend had a Friday night all to ourselves and decided to have dinner here. Happy Hour is from 5pm — 8pm. Which is great! Steaks on their menu are half off and so are a few of their cocktails. Well drinks are $ 5. Can’t go wrong with those deals. We started with the Flatbread Bruschetta, which was to die for. Never had a better Bruschetta. It was so good. The bread was perfectly cooked. Boyfriend had the New York Strip(Medium Rare) which was half off also added the Herbs and Rye House Rub which is slightly spicy and gives your steak that perfect flavor. His side was the Jalapeño Creamed Corn which was delicious as well with the perfect punch of heat. I ordered the Bone In Pork Chop(Medium Well) and paired it with the Truffle Mac & Cheese. Pork Chop was perfectly cooked. Nice big chunk of pork on my plate. The truffle Mac & Cheese was oh so delicious melt in your mouth. The atmosphere is dark and intimate, from the outside it looks like a small space. Walking in there they had 2 sides of dining rooms. and a big bar area. I would definitely recommend this place. And next time I will order dessert.

I came here last night and I can’t believe it was my first time! The atmosphere here is on point. I love the dark setting but not your average quiet spot. It was pretty busy and loud but it didn’t seem short of anything but good vibes! I highly recommend coming here. We made a rookie mistake of not going during happy hour when a lot of entrees and drinks are HALFOFF! However, it still will be on the pricey side I suppose. Oh and we did have a snooty server. Regardless it was a great dinner. The presentation of the food was very nice and my favorite was the red wine glaze that came with the filet mignon! It was delicious. Im even considering having my birthday dinner here! It seems perfect for a big group of friends to start or perhaps end the night with! The first two pages of there menu are food items and the rest of it is a really extensive drink menu. I shared the surf and turf with a side of cream of corn(MYFAVORITE) and mac n cheese! Highly recommend them to you all.

I really enjoyed this place. The décor was amazing! Reminded me of an old school vegas type of spot where you might find some gangsters having dinner and drinks in the back corner. Even though the place was packed I was able to snag two seats at the bar pretty quickly. The drinks were great. I had a Moscow Mule and some other specialty drink that I don’t quite remember the name of. For dinner we had salads which were both delicious. The bread was really good too. Happy hour specials were good but the food is a little on the high end so prepare to spend about $ 30 on a steak even if it’s half off during happy hour. The portion sizes are large but I’d like to see some smaller portions at more reasonable prices. The staff was entertaining and accomodating. The only reason i gave 4 stars instead of 5 is because of the entrée costs. If you’re looking for a dark, loud, trendy spot with lots of action this is it. If you want something quaint and quiet go elsewhere.

While we got off to a bad start, at least it ended with good food. We arrived at 6:55 on a Friday night with no reservations. They said it would be a 30 minute wait(no problem) and we weren’t seated until 8:30… That’s an HOUR longer than the estimated wait time given without even a free drink offer as compensation. Needless to say, by the time my butt hit the chair, I was a grumpy girl!!! The tomato soup was outstanding and it comes with a tiny grilled cheese sandwich on the side. Everyone else enjoyed their salads and the main dishes were presented beautifully, had lots of flavor and our bellies were full and happy.

I took my family to Herbs & Rye(Las Vegas) in November based on a recommendation from our hotel. Food was good and the service was adequate. However I made a mistake on the tip because I didn’t realize that a table of five was subject to an automatic gratuity…100% my fault. The big issue here is that I made numerous attempts to speak with the restaurant manager who has refused to communicate with me. I’m talking about $ 35 but it still shows a lack of customer service and respect. Think about that the next time you are trying to decide what steak house to visit while you are in Vegas.

Happy Hour gets crowded. Legit waited 1hr30minute, however we were still honored happy hour prices. Rib Eye + Brussels the way to go

Wonderful cuts of meat that are well prepared. Sides were tasty, but undersized. The truffle Mac and cheese and Brussels sprouts were all very good. The portion size for the sides were quite small though. The expansive cocktail list is impressive. Make sure to go at happy hour, when steaks are half price! Otherwise, be prepared to spend enough money for a week’s worth of groceries on dinner.

As a vegan, loving a place known for their steaks and Mac and cheese sounds kinda hypocritical. However, this place offers an eclectic cocktail menu, amazing veggie sides, and delicious flat breads for those of us who aren’t so crazy about meats and cheeses. The ambiance… Think brick floors… Red velvet walls… Low lighting and antique chandeliers… Old music from 20s, 30s, and 40s playing with black and white movies on the TVs. I almost felt like I was stepping back in time into a hip and super secret speak easy… The service was great. We were seated promptly and our waters were never empty. She checked on the table just enough for us to never need anything… But also not feel overwhelmed. My last experience here was a tad bit underwhelming due to their portion sizes of their sides going down. *thumbs down* However, everything tastes pretty amazing and they were super accommodating to my vegan needs. I ordered the button mushrooms and garlic spinach… Yum! Seasoned to utter perfection and cooked just right… It’s definitely a vegan crowd pleaser. My boyfriend and dad ordered huge steaks that came with sides. My mom ordered a flat bread and a side of mushrooms… Everyone loved their food. They offer half off steaks and certain cocktails for happy hour. I got a great glass of Cabernet for only 8 bucks! :) They are open late and offer two happy hours… 5−8pm and 12am-close. The parking can be a little tricky but there are plenty of open lots near by:) I’ll definitely be returning.

Great reverse happy hour! An amazing local spot!!! It’s a speak easy, vintage ambiance. Craft cocktails with a very descriptive menu so that you can try new things and know the era in which it is from. My go to drink is the brandy cresta(if I’m spelling that correctly, lol). It’s forward on the citrus side with sugar on the rim! I also had A brandy Alexander which is more in the creamy, after dinner side. Both were great and out of my normal bubble. Now let’s get to steak!!! They are known for their steaks!!! They are half off on happy hour. I hadn’t been here Ina few months, I noticed they raised their prices, but still reasonable for happy hour. I ordered the NY strip with truffle Mac and cheese and added a onion and mushroom topper to my steak! I am a fan but of the topper option! With every slice I’m getting my toppings! If you’re looking for an experience, try and grab a seat at the bar! The mixologist are fun, captivating and very interacting! They might even take a drink with you!

Herbs and Rye– how do I love thee… Let me count the ways(in no particular order except for number one which is Alycia being the best): 1) Alycia is awesome! She is such a real, genuine and funny person that my husband and I make sure we always stop by when we are in town, which is often! Seriously, she is the best!!! 2) Happy hours! Early and late night deals for the awesome food here make the place a great value proposition. 3) The food!!! Where do I start… Any of the steaks-always cooked to temperature and super flavorful! The chorizo meatballs(so good no words can describe!) Truffle Mac and cheese or the fries. As a separate call out: Any of the masterfully crafted drinks! The menu is vast and full of fun facts. The best part? Tell Alicia what you like and she will pick the drink that is complementary to your preferences. This restaurant will continue to stay in my rotation because of the food, drinks and fabulous service!

My experiences in the past were riddled with substandard food and bad service, so I stayed away. A work assignment brought me back here and I’m glad it did because now I see why people love it. I’ve decided that the only place to sit is the bar. That’s where are the excitement is and the bartenders are amazing. Not just at what they do with the libations, but because they know what customer service means. They’re knocking it out of the park. During my time there, they passed out shots a couple times to all the patrons just because it was Friday. It was an amazing energy. Spicy Mussels($ 26; H/H $ 13): This was recommended by our bartender and I was actually hesitant! You know what happened next — I am so incredibly glad we ordered it because it is truly fantastic! Seriously, WOW. The mussels are served in a tomato stew made with white wine and it is absolutely perfect. We literally wiped the bowl clean with bread. There was no way we were leaving a drop because it’s that good. And that happy hour price is KILLER! Mediterranean Flatbread($ 16): Pesto, goat cheese, artichoke, roasted tomato, and olives. Whoa. This is another home run. I remembered enjoying the flatbreads in the past, but not as much as now. The crust was so, so good — crusty perfection and ridiculous flavor. The toppings definitely sealed the deal. USDA Certified Angus Ribeye, 18 oz($ 59; H/H $ 29.50): I’m certain this is a big part of their popularity — 50% off steaks during happy hour. Yeah, it’s a great deal. This is my third time with their steaks and I don’t know what’s up, but I don’t enjoy them. This time, the temperature was perfect(I ordered rare plus), but there was a thick charcoal crust on the steak. We wrote it off as the way their steaks are prepared, so we took off what we could and enjoyed it as much as possible. Then, I saw photos of their steaks and realized that there is usually no crust. I should’ve said something, but I also wonder why they would serve it like that? Either way, I’m avoiding their steaks or I’m going to figure out a way to get that perfectly-cooked steak from them! I love their choice of sides! They’re all delicious. Brussels Sprouts and Honey Swine($ 8.50) Truffle Crispy Fries($ 8.50) Sweet Potato Tots($ 8.50) Doughnuts with Caramel and White Chocolate($ 8.50): Fresh delicious, fluffy doughnuts. Really great. The white chocolate sauce is amazing. I could eat like 50 more. Their cocktails are insane. I got Blood and Sand(Scotch, Cherry Herring, Sweet Vermouth, and orange juice) because that’s my jam. I’m not a straight up scotch drinker, but I love a good scotch cocktail. Their interpretation of Blood and Sand is AMAZING and obviously, you get a show with it.

I love me some herbs and rye! The food is pretty amazing. The quality of their entrees is just as delicious as the restaurants on the strip. You can’t go wrong with their happy hour which is from 5−8pm. There are two lil stars marked next to the item on the menu. It’s 50%off! Pretty cool! The ambience is dark and romanticish. Kinda reminds me of those vintage Russian rooms lol I don’t know but it’s pretty nice inside. My girls and I ordered the steak of course. Pretty bummed they ran out of truffle oil for my Mac and cheese but it was still rich and yummy!

1920s style speakeasy atmosphere? Check. Massive menu of obscure and classic drinks? Check. 2 daily HHs with half-price steaks? Check again. Server was great about suggesting and recommending drinks to help us, as the menu is a bit overwhelming– the Blackthorne, Pegu, and Diablo were all tasty and strong without being too sweet. I do wish they offered better wines, and found it odd they don’t have any beers on tap. The littleneck clams app has a delicious lemon-herb sauce, but the half-price flat iron was the star: cooked to perfection, juicy, and well-seasoned. I’ll have to come back hungrier to try a better cut. Sides of sprouts and truffle mac were both enjoyable, if a touch salty. Wish the HH menu featured more apps, like the flatbreads. In addition to dinner and drinks, they make killer desserts. Our party couldn’t decide, so we got both their seasonal apple bread pudding and their fresh-baked cookies. Both were massive and really hit the spot for the sweet tooth folks. I’ll be back for more drinks and eventually the rib eye. Maybe next time I’ll actually sit in the bar area, but the volume of the music was blasting even sitting in the quieter dining room area. Great retro-Vegas, blast from the past experience.

Cool spot with some killer cocktails! I love it when bartenders take their craft seriously and drinking becomes an experience. This place doesn’t fail and when we walked in around 8pm on a Friday night the bar was packed and the restaurant had a 30 min wait; deservingly so. The bartenders are great and it has a very cool vibe with friendly locals who are happy it’s finally Friday! Two couples moved around to fit my man and I immediately as we walked in and that was a really nice gesture. We had several cocktails and definitely began feeling tipsy on drink two. Pretty pathetic but these suckers were strong! After a short time we were called for our table and we were starving! Everything tastes better when you’re tipsy! Well almost everything! So let’s get to the food. Started with a margarita flat bread which was good(still on my search for amazing margarita pizza) and then the filet sliders. These were by far the highlight of the experience. The meat was so tender with caramelized onions, horse radish sauce on a very soft potato bun(AMAZING)! Then we wanted something decadent and decided on the penne. It was so salty we couldn’t take more then a few bites. It tasted like eating spoons full of salt. As tipsy as I was I couldn’t do it. We told our waitress and she was kind enough to ask if we wanted it remade but we decided to skip as we wanted to save ourselves for something sweet. That dish was straight up nasty. We ordered the hot donuts and they made up for the pasta! Overall good food but that penne really screwed us up. The only reason I didn’t give this place 5 stars was over that. The service was great. Strong cocktails to get a nice buzz going and maybe we just got unlucky with the pasta. Everything else was good. The décor is cool with a very back in the day feel when the cool kids were bootlegging in dark places. I would definitely try this place again.
