I have often had people do nice things for me but Marco at Greenfield & Co, the wholesale florist, was unbelievably wonderful!
At 2:45 on Friday, I went to pick up my hydrangeas from my friend’s floral refrigerator. I absolutely could not believe it, they were frozen. I was making flowers for a baby shower the next morning. I had planned on working on them all Friday night.
In a panic, I called Greenfield before they closed at three. Marco answered the phone, and said no problem just come down and bring your frozen flowers~~I will wait until you get here. I will replace them.
I thought that he meant he would sell me new ones. WHAT HE DID, WAS GIVE ME 40 NEW HYDRANGEAS AT ABOUT $ 5.00+ A POP!!!
I just couldn’t believe how kind and generous he was.
Not only that, it took me 45 minutes to get there. And on the Friday…
