Gondola Ride at the Venetian

It’s a cute and romantic ride to go with your significant other. I believe it’s $ 24 per person. The ride itself takes about 15 mins. The gondola driver will sing 2 – 3 songs while taking your down the canal and back. I personally think it’s worth it to go once because it was quite romantic. I doubt I would pay to go again. Each gondola seats 4 people so you will be paired with another couple. Try to get seated on the same side as the driver so you can get a better picture.

Always wanted to take a Gondola ride. It was short, but sweet. It took about 15 minutes total. If the weather was better I wouldn’t have minded taking the outdoor ride at night when the town is lit up. The female Gondolier was very friendly and had a great voice. I’m glad the hubby and I took some time away from the crazy strip to ride the Gondolas.

I always wanted to do this when I got married.
I got married in Coachella Valley. Didn’t quite expect the pictures that came out of it. Plus some drama. So here’s something that was writing the wrong I supposed!
A few days before we did this. We got our tickets in advance. They do Military discounts. You have to show some form of I.D. My Hubby pulled out his V. A Card. They gladly give him 15% off.
Friday our very last day of our honeymoon. We got dressed up and painted the town red. We attracted so much attention at the Venetian that day.
The manager of the place gladly let us cut in front of the line. There was a photographer on site taking our pictures. A lot of people were taking photos and videos of us. I have yet to see any type of footage anywhere lol.
We had that most awesomeness time there. I loved every moment of the ride. Including the gondola rider that was singing. He was Italian also.
We had fun and Thank you Venetian hotel for the most wonderful beautiful memories.

We got tickets for a «share» ride and they were nice enough to get us our own personal boat even though there were others around. So I thought that was really nice.
They offered 4 different pictures, but it was over $ 20 for just one so I felt that was a bit pricey. We just took pictures on our own which they let you do.
The rower was great. He was really friendly but also a great singer. We didn’t realize how many songs we would get. 3 songs and all of them were romantic.
Even my husband got teary eyed.
Great for a little something to do, but it might be a tiny bit overpriced.

I rode the gondolas for the first time on Saturday. The gondoliers are AMAZING singers, and they can sing in both English and Italian. We rode the indoor gondola ride for $ 84 for a private gondola ($ 21/​person if you ride with strangers). I like how they give you some history of Venice along the ride, and the recreations of the city are pretty impressive. Overall, it was a great experience, but it’s honestly too short (only 10 minutes) for $ 84.

Very cool experience and the gondoliers are talented and knowledgeable on Venetian history. The ticket booth is next to the Godiva restaurant in the canal shoppes. My girlfriend and I enjoyed the 12 – 15 minute voyage and they have a special wedding gondola which is striking.

We been to the the grand canal shoppes many times over the years. This is the first time we have rode the gondolas. We went to buy our tickets thinking we could go in line and get on but they have you come back we got our tickets at about 12:15 our reservations were at one we were allowed to line up at 12:50. Each person is $ 21 or pay for the whole gondola for $ 84 for a private were only in line for a few minutes until we were pulled out of line to the front to ride with another family with a girl the same age. This was a great experience and we enjoyed talking the family from England on our ride. The guy in charge of our gondola sang two songs.

First time riding one and I must say I enjoyed it. It was relaxing and felt very romantic lol. I dont remember the young ladies name from Italy but she had the voice of and angel. Very nice young lady and I wouldnt mind visting again and have her sing again.

We had extra 45 mins after dinner and before the show, and this gondola ride seemed like a perfect venue for the time we had.
They have indoor and outdoor. Indoor had a long wait time, so we tried outdoor.
All others there was couples doing something romantic, so he said to the staff on a whim we just got married, hahaha… It was unexpected but I just played along with whatever he was saying to make this ride more fun.
Staff was interesting. She was trying to speak Italian but with American accents. She was very amusing. She sang that’s Amore pretty well. My pretend «husband» for that moment even complimented on her singing, if he said so with his trained ears, she must be very good.
They even have a pretend Ponte dei Sospiri (bridge of sighs). A local legend says that lovers will be granted eternal love and bliss if they kiss on a gondola at sunset under the bridge.
Real or pretend, I still had good time, enjoyed the short gondola ride.

This looked like such a relaxing indoor ride to share with your better half. We were pressed for time, but manage to walk the length of the canal. Like everything in Las Vegas this too was a considerable distance with many distractions around every corner.
I would have to say the Venetian is one of the higher end sights in Vegas. The Venetian shopping plaza and its various dining experiences, coupled with the beautiful ceiling sky scape and the Gondola Canal transport you as close as possible to enchanting Venice without having to jump on another plane. Just jump on a Gondola to round out this experience. I will next time I’m in Vegas (&/​or Venice).

This is a very romantic ride and there was lots of couples going on. Although I went on my birthday with my best friend. We choose to do the one inside because it seemed more real like being in Italy itself.
Outside you would see the outside of the hotel while inside you would get the view of the shops and the beautiful paints on the ceiling making it seem like you are outside and you are also going under the over passes.
The ride is about 12 – 15 minutes long and you either get a male or female singing to you. We had a lady and she actually sang happy birthday to me since it was my birthday.
You have to purchase the tickets before going online and you have to book the time you would like to go and note YOU CANNOT BE LATE other wise your ticket is GARBAGE!
There is a boat for two people or four. The boat for two is more money. The boat for two is more money so we did the boat for four and it just ended up being us anyway.

Each ride is like 15 – 20 minutes down a little canal thing and you get to listen to people with fake accents sing like beautiful songbirds.
I got my ticket through a discount package but you can order tickets at the booth that is located outside of the place. I honestly do not remember the price but I think it’s around $ 20 per person? I have no idea. They normally pair you up so there’s 4 of you (no exceptions) but if you pay extra you can ride by yourself/​with your partner.
You have the option of sitting in open air or go inside and take in the sights that they have inside.
They offer to take pictures for you when you board and I believe you could take pictures while you’re in the boat.
It’s very sweet but the romance is kinda lost when you have people standing on the sides of the canal talking about thinking they saw yesterday’s lunch in the toilet lmao.
I’d love to do this again but I’d try the ride on the outside!

We stopped by the Venetian to visit Bouchon Bakery. Was there any doubt that I would go out of my way to buy pastry? I think not.
While there, I thought my kiddo would enjoy a ride on the gondola. Finding out where to buy tickets was a bit of a challenge, particularly since we weren’t staying at the hotel. If you want to know what a rat feels like in a maze looking for cheese, go here. After I bought the tickets, I realized there was an indoor and an outdoor one. Doh! After riding it, I was happy we did the indoor as I melt like the wicked witch of the west in the direct sun (long story).
We managed not to tip the boat (surprisingly) when boarding. I found our operator, very conversational and pleasant. He sang quite a bit (as they all do) and he was quite good (not all of them were). It’s a bit strange riding around with people taking pictures of you as you go by.
I thought it was a fun experience and would definitely do it again. I probably will since I can find pastry at the Venetian.

If you want to get on one of the gondola rides, you have to purchase the tickets at the gift shop, all the way in the back of the Venetian. It’s $ 20 per person and doesn’t matter if you’re doing the inside or outside ride. They give you a time and tell you to be there 20 minutes before your scheduled ride. If you’re doing the inside gondola ride, the place to get on is right next to the shop. If you’re doing the outside gondola ride, it’s a bit more complicated. The Venetian is huge and the place is like a maze. There’s a lot of twists and turns just to get out to the front of the hotel. That’s what you need to do if you want to do the outside gondola ride, get out to the front of the hotel. I would give you directions but I was getting lost myself.
We finally got out to the front of the hotel. There were about eight people in front of us. They sat four people in each gondola. We waited for about 10 minutes. They must have been running a lot of gondolas because they seemed to be coming every few minutes.
The guy steering our gondola was hilarious. He asked us where we were from, and talked story with us and the other couple on our ride. He sang Italian songs to us. Even though he said that he didn’t speak Italian, his singing sounded so authentic. The ride lasted about 20 minutes. When you get on the gondola, they have a photographer that takes pictures of you. When you’re done with your ride you can purchase the pictures from them at the photo booth.

Do you know those tourist things folks do in NYC? The bus hawkers in Time Square are a perfect example of a touristy thing to do. Checking into the Venetian and 10 minutes later going on the Gondola Ride is like being in Time Square.
My wife says oooooh we have to do this! Yes dear…
We get in the Gondola boat (just the two of us) and we book out. The Gondola boat steerer person is all dressed up in full Gondola fashion. He’s even starting to sing? Nice.
The boat goes outside of the Venetian hotel. We whip around a bridge and go back inside.

I feel like I got hustled. The wife is happy and I’m shy a few twenties.

What a fun ride with some awesome singing. Had no idea what to expect with the ride but it was her BIRTHDAY and she did what she wanted.
Caught the 9:50 ride which was cool because there was no long line of people and it was very peaceful as well.
We had our pictures taken before the ride began which was cool. Once we shoved off I was ready for the fun to begin. The gondolier was amazing. He was very enthusiastic and engaging as well. We talked about his passion and love for his job and he sand wonderfully. I almost did not want to get off of the boat. Just an incredible experience.
The ride is for a good amount of time as well. I would say somewhere around 10 to 15 minutes or so. Just a great experience for anyone visiting Vegas an passing through the Venetian Hotel.

Very romantic ride that lasts about 10 – 15 minutes. They have indoors ride and an outdoors ride. The choice is yours.
We picked the indoors one because we all saw the Las Vegas strip from almost every angle possible. Why not stay inside and stay cool.
The ride is really smooth and slow sailing. You get a really good views of the Venetian shops. I like the designs inside. Lovely blue skies to look up at. My guy that was moving the boat for us was very cool and friendly. Sang some Italian songs that were romantic at least according to him. A nice quiet ride.
Each boat holds 4 passengers unless you decide to pay a ridiculous amount for a 2 seater.
When you purchase tickets you need to make reservations. Please be on time or they will void your tickets.
I have never been to Italy, but I think I got preview of what it would be like to ride the actual Gondola.

I guess. I mean, really, can the Venetian get any cheesier, Italian inspired Disney-​esque anyway? Answer: Yes; Indoor gondola rides. Lol!
Always looking for something new to do in Sin City, was walking through the resort to go to a specific restaurant, saw the line was super short, and thought «why not?»
Was it horrible? No. Was it «romantic» as others have stated? In my opinion no. It was actually kind of embarrassing. Yes, I know, Las Vegas thrives on tourism (hey, I’m a tourist too) so there should probably be no shame in engaging in some tacky tour; however, as you make your way down the water through the middle of the Grand Canal Shops, with your gondolier singing away, you can’t happen notice the people staring and you. Not that I’m shy at all, but I can only guess those peeps had been on the «ride» before and were thinking «suckers!» haha It was really quite a humorous experience.
At ~20 bucks per person, and if you’re a couple you will most likely be riding with another two unknowns (unless you want to pay $ 79.80 for a private two passenger boat), and the fact the entire ride lasts ten minutes at best, there are other activities I would rather spend the money on. They also offer pictures for purchase… passed on that $$ sexiness.
Overall: Like I stated at the beginning, I guess. One time. It just wasn’t my favorite Vegas attraction. A little too «Vegas» for me. I think the Gondola Rides at the Venetian would be better suited for, and more appreciated by, ‘rents and their kiddos… and this coming from a perpetual child. ;) Maybe the outdoor option is better. I guess I’ll never know. Divertiti!

I wasn’t that impressed with the inside ride because like I read before it was pretty expensive, a short ride and pretty expensive! You have to buy your ticket next to Godiva which I think is a nice touch to have chocolate on the ride. Then you have to wait in a somewhat of a long line but it goes quick because the rides are short. If you want a private ride it’s about 80 bucks or 40 to ride with strangers. It’s fun and my driver did sing some songs in Italian and as you know everyone in Vegas accepts tips.
I didn’t do the outside ride but for the price you pay they should let you ride both. I probably wouldn’t do it again but I’m glad I can say I’ve been on the gondola.

One of Venetian’s coolest attractions is the Gondola ride. The singers who man the Gondolas do a great job. They start of checking on where u come from sort of trying to warm u up to the ride if you haven’t already in those beautifully crafted Gondolas.
They will ask you if you are celebrating something special and based on your response sing songs for you. I have been on this ride thrice– first time I said I was visiting for fun, the song was a chirpy italian number, usually they try to sing about 3 in a ride. The second times singer sang twice but had a charming personality. Third time around we were taking the ride with my parents n we told them we just got married so the singer sang 3 Bful wedding songs and made that ride extra special!
The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because of these reasons:
— depending on when you plan to do the ride and the season wait time varies. My recommendation go in the morning to get slots quickly for a ride
–the pictures they take are beautiful but cost a little over one ticket for the ride itself. If you are planning to get a single picture of the 4 they usually take, you will have to pay $ 23+taxes. If you want to get all 4 pics, it’s slightly more reasonable and costs about $ 44.

Wer schon in Venedig war wird die Kopie zwar nett finden die Atmosphäre kommt aber nicht an das Original ran, da zu viele Partygänger die Stimmung verfälschen.

Das Venetian Hotel & Casino ist in vielen Teilen eine perfekte Kopie von Venedig. Warum in die Ferne schweifen, sagt sich der Amerikaner, und fliegt einfach nach Venedig in Las Vegas. Über das Venetian Hotel kann vieles geschrieben werden, mich faszinieren dort am meisten die Gondeln.

Es ist die perfekte Illusion! Auch wenn alles ein wenig kleiner und geschrumpfter als in Venedig ist hier auf der ersten Etage des Hotels schlängelt sich eine beachtliche Miniatur des Canale Grande. Die Gondeln haben Originalgröße und die Gondoliere immitieren ihre Kollegen aus Venedig perfekt.
Der Canal zieht sich in Kurven durch das Gebäude, tief liegende Brücken überspannen ihn (hier müssen sich die Gondoliere mächtig bücken), und an den Seiten kann der Betrachter gemütlich bummeln, Window-​Shoppen oder echtes in den vielen kleinen Läden, und vor allem dem Gesang der Gondoliere lauschen: O sole mio!
Selbst mitgefahren sind wir nicht, weiß also nicht, was die Tour kostet. Da die Gondoliere jedoch sehr langsam auf dem Wasser gleiten, verbringt man in der Gondel reichlich Zeit trotz der nicht allzu langen Strecke.
Draußen vor dem Hotel ist ein kleiner See angelegt mit einer Nachahmung der Rialto-​Brücke. Auch hier fahren Gondeln, jedoch weitaus weniger attraktiv als im Inneren. Der See ist klein und es geht nur hin und her.
Fazit: Diese Vegas-​Attraktion ist ein echter Hingucker. Und genial gelungen. Das können sie, die Amis: Europa in die Wüste holen. Dafür von mir fünf Sterne.

Es el interior de hotel-​casino que mas impresiona porque los canales estan en la primera planta del edificio, es transladarte a venecia tiene un monton de detalles igual igual que los reales.
