I don’t recommend signing up for one of these gyms! For the price you pay you might as well go to LVAC where they offer better equipment and more classes for the same price:)

I love this place! Everyone is helpful and friendly. The trainers run great classes for abs, yoga, and pilates. Its a small gym, and being a female, that makes it less intimidating especially since I am not the most in shape person. I wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Been a member since this club opened. There has been many changes but what has stayed consistent is the amazing group of trainers and manager who have been with the club for over a year now. It’s a smaller club where you can feel comfortable going to. Everyone roots and cheers each other on. It’s a very motivating place to workout. I weight train and also box with the manager Blake who has taught me so much. He helped me fall in love with boxing and now I’m totally addicted. Great stress reliever and cardio to mix it up after hard weight training :)

I’ve been a member for close to 2 months now. I’ll revisit this rating regularly to update if necessary as I plan on being a member as long as they’ll have me. It’s true — this is not a mega-gym social club. No swimming pools, restaurants, or smoothie/juice bars. What it is, however, is a clean, effective, convenient and personal gym. It has all the equipment a person needs to get fit and/or maintain their fitness. There are friendly and helpful trainers there during the week who are always willing to offer assistance. I hired the gym’s manager as a trainer and from the beginning I felt(and still feel) that he is focused on my health and how he can genuinely help me to improve it. An additional note — I am a very overweight woman and I felt very intimidated to join any gym. I was apprehensive of judgement or attitude from members and staff of a fitness club. What I found here at Ann Road Express Fitness was the complete opposite. I found a supportive, family-like attitude where I’m not afraid to be myself and work to get fit. The fact that I am there 5 – 6 days(or nights) a week speaks volumes. For some people, I realize bigger is better but for those of us who enjoy a more quiet, personal, focused space, this is the one. ***edit one month later*** It just gets better and better. The gym itself is being improved and my life is as well. I am so happy to report back that this gym is still everything I wanted and more. I receive excellent guidance not just from my personal trainer but from several other trainers who are frequently there. Due to all of their guidance and support(and the convenience and amenities that the gym offers) I’m down 30 lbs and feel stronger every day. My fellow gym members are friendly and helpful too and I look forward to learning yoga there(they have free classes) in the future. I now go 6 days(or nights) a week and it feels like a home away from home. ***edit 2 months later** Still going 6 days a week and still LOVING the facilities and the environment. My trainer keeps me motivated. I’m doing boxing training now and love every butt-kicking minute of it. Excellent all the way around. 50lbs lost and wouldn’t trade this gym for anything. ***edit Jan 12016 — it’s been 8 months since I joined up at Ann Road Express Fitness. I wish I could give more than five stars. I am now down close to 70 pounds and more determined than ever to stay the course, thanks to the motivational people at the gym, my trainer(the gym manager, Blake), and the ever growing sense of health and wholeness I’m feeling since joining the gym. While a great deal of my weight loss is related to what I eat, I owe so much to the gym and its people. The facilities are cleaner than ever and with nice additions and updates periodically, the gym is always evolving into more and more. No regrets. It’s worth it, people. It really is. For those who think you can get more for your money at a bigger gym — maybe if the«more» you want is larger space or a busier atmosphere than maybe you do get more… But if the«more» you want is a clean, personal, focused space with good people and friendly, positive attitudes then this offers more.

HORRIBLEHORRIBLEHORRIBLE! Do not go here do not sign there contract. Poor facility limited workout machines and getting out of that contract is a nightmare. You have to send a cancelation via certified mail, and you still get billed for the following month after. Sent two letters, they lost two. Got billed for three extra months plus this month. Finally sent a third, and while speaking to the manger, he said he had no record of it. Just as I am ready to pull up proof and really give them a piece of my mind, I get a call back saying they magically found it. Terrible customer service. Not worth your time or your money. Do not go here save yourself the trouble.

The gym is pretty basic, it’s like a gym in your apartments with a little more equipment… Gym membership is overpriced for the little amenities offered. LVAC has literally everything and its only 20 $. I really don’t like going anymore bc Zumba is suppose to be over at a set time and its not and they take up the only space there is to do floor exercises, so I end up coming late bc I think Zumba will be over and its not… Not to mention the manager(blake) spends the majority of his time flirting with women mainly the zumba girl. Once my contract is over I’m not going back to express fitness…
