Dunkin’ Donuts

On 11/​12/​2015 @ 2:51pm I came to grab something to eat. The cashier Erika was very rude she does not had your change in your hand & she lacks customer service! GST#131

This Dunkin Donuts is inside the Petro truck stop on Hollywood and Speedway Blvd. Went today 8−19−15 around 7:15 AM to get my co-​workers a little treat :) Before this I had not been to a DD since I was very young. No reason I suppose, but it just was never my favorite.
For $ 14.68 I got a dozen random donuts, a plain bagel with cream cheese, and a large iced coffee. They warmed up my bagel and put the cream cheese on it without me having to ask.
The bagel was meh. I much prefer Panera or Einsteins. It seemed very bland. And the donuts gave me horrible heartburn all day. The donuts seemed very bread-​y and not very sweet. I much prefer Krispy Kreme. But the iced coffee was extremely good. Like *surprisingly* good. Almost as good as my old pal, Starbucks.
The staff was perfectly nice. I half expected a surly teenager but the girls there were congenial. The place seemed clean and had lots of merchandise for sale.
The only weird thing was in front of the register there was a platter with individual packets of Altoids for sale. They were like $ 2.79 I think but they were made of paper and they looked like they had been run over by one of the semi trucks in the parking lot. They honestly looked like they had been there for years. If I was the manager there I’d throw those out. It makes the whole business look questionable and *hello* you’re inside a gas station, you can buy mints there.
I would definitely go back for the iced coffee and maybe try a breakfast sandwich. A-​OK.

When we got here there was a long line and a lady reading off numbers to the cashier. My first thought was that the 2 employees do not know what they’re doing. GREAT. But then after she left, they started knocking us down like flies. One rang up the customers while the other one went down the line and asked if we had any sandwich orders. I gotta say, after the number lady left, the 2 employees worked really well together. I admire that.
At Dunkin Donuts they put in the cream and sugar for you. And they put in a lot. I usually don’t have sugar with my coffee so this is my delectable once-​in-​a-​while treat. I also own DD stock so I really hope that America will run on Dunkin soon enough (*laughs like the dog in Duck Hunt)
Tip: the sausage (or bacon) egg wrap (from the number 9 combo) is really small. Don’t get it; it’s not worth it.
