Dinosaurs & Roses

My best friend is visiting me from the Midwest, and she loves to go shopping at thrift stores. Naturally, I said of course. I had heard of Dinosaur & Roses before, but have never been. Thank goodness I finally went! This store is AMAZING ‼ So clean, so organized, & awesome items to choose from. All of the employees were super kind & helpful. This store had it going on so much, I wanna go back & work there. My day was going okay, but now I’m having the best day ever having been to Dinosaurs & Roses. We had such a great experience at the tropicana location, we are headed to their newly opened store at the meadows mall !!! Thanks again Dinosaur & Roses!

I have been looking for a legit real thrift nothing like «Platos, Buffalo Exchange» and Dinosaurs and Roses left me impressed. Although the prices here and there were kind of ridiculous but still very nice store. I like the feel and vibe. Especially since the employees there too were super sweet. The location is pretty hidden sadly or I’m sure it would constantly be packed. The finds there are ONE OF A KIND. Will return with friends very soon!

I love a clever name, and the styled-​up mannequins were a nice touch too! As others have mentioned, this is an exceptionally clean thrift store. I also like how someone took the time to label the bookshelves and organize that section. But that must have been a ways back, because the books don’t correspond with the labels any more and everything is just shoved into random places.
Clothing organized and labeled by size, with reasonable prices. Selection isn’t particularly large, and is of typical thrift store quality. There are some goodies to be found though, and that’s the fun of thrift stores! Large shoe selection in particular.
Saw two employees present and busy while I was browsing. Good to see productive employees, but found it odd that the employees never spoke to any of the customers present.

OK, I have been wanting to get in here for some time now, and I got the chance just the other day.
First off let me say this is the hands down CLEANEST second hand store I have EVER been in. It does not smell old and musty AT ALL! I was pleasantly shocked.
There is furniture, in good condition, glass wear, books, shoes, clothing, children’s toys, baby gear, jeans, kitchen gadgets, magnets, nick nacks, jewelry… in short EVERYTHING. And it is clean, clean, clean!
Parking and easy to get to, right off the freeway! You will be just as pleasantly shocked as I was. I think it is really important to reuse and repurpose. Also, supporting local business is the right thing to do. Get in here for the deals!

Great store and love the expanded furniture areas! So glad to find the new location. Super excited to have learned that the World Marketplace samples are here too!

I am so sorry for the misunderstanding. I would never intentionally overcharge a customer. I obviously made a mistake and would hate for you to avoid shopping with us because of me. I would like to rectify the situation the next time you come in. Please mention this review to myself or the store manager Jay so we can get this taken care of. I really like Dinosaurs and Roses. Good quality items, usually really good prices, usually really nice, friendly staff. I found my Seattle Seahawks shirt there for $ 1, and a beautiful wood cheese tray for a friend for less than $ 10. I’ve been in there half a dozen times over the last few months
Watch out for the girl though– she double charged me on 2 items, then quickly put them in a bag when I went to look at something really quickly so I wouldn’t catch on (unfortunately I wasn’t sure about what she’d done until after I left– the other people who work there are so nice, I wasn’t expecting her to pull that kind of crap) and then tried to argue with me saying that I needed to give her $ 3 to make up the difference between the $ 15 I’d given her and the total $ 17 she’d quoted. It took some debate before she took the $ 2
I’m definitely planning to go back to Dinosaurs and Roses– too many other good experiences, but if I see her at the cash register, I’ll be turning right back around and leaving

Loved Dinosaurs and Roses! It felt like a friendly neighborhood store. Small and intimate, and the staff was super nice. I love thrifting for vintage items, especially vintage furniture. This is by far the best thrift store I’ve been to for finding killer deals on unique items. Highly recommend.

Pretty nice and organized. Some great vintage items. Unfortunately my house is full. Got the perfect sized file cabinet for a good price. Dave gave us a good price on it. Will have to keep going by when I am in the neighborhood. All monies go to charity.

Cool thrift store, very well organized and nicely displayed items, also didn’t really have that musty thrift store smell ! Unfortunately there was really nothing there that I wanted, but I will definitely check it out next time in the area.
