D’Hair To Be Different

My appointment was with Di’Anna for a haircut. Always a bit apprehensive when being a first timer in a salon, but I had a special offer to use. Everything went well though, she was very professional and probably one of the best hair experiences I have experienced in a long time.
She was to the point but very cordial. She offered me something to drink and asked what hair style/​cut I was looking to get. I didn’t want anything too complicated since I think I want to grow it out, but something to get me out of this «mom-​bob». She nodded in understanding and said she would get to work.
After the shampoo and awesome massage, she proceeded to spray some leave-​in conditioner and blow-​dried my hair. Having the hair dried prior to the cut is the process I am most fond of when getting some layers done since this will offer a more precise cut.
I was very pleased with the cut and style, but overall with the experience since there was minimal talking, she didn’t ask what I did for a living, how is the family, dog, cat, yada yada yada. I honestly just want to get in and get out when getting my hair done and many stylist could take a note from her.
The place itself is huge and a maze but I like that she has somewhat of a private area.
I really did not get anything crazy, but the experience was one to remember and keep in mind for my next hairdo. Thank you Di’Anna!

I came to Di’Anna for a hair cut. She did a great job and during the shampoo and conditioning she gave a head massage, nice touch! If I didn’t live so far away I would go to her all the time! I will be back for sure tho.
The salon was outdated but the service was good. Lots of airport noise as it’s right next to the airport.

Carmen did a beautiful job on my ombré color and cut. She made the color look very natural, which I was nervous about because ombré so often looks terrible if not done correctly. But it looks amazing.
She then took the time to style/​curl it afterwards. Looks great!

Brittany did my hair and she did an amazing job! I actually went to her to fix my hair after I got really bad highlights and a haircut at a different salon. My hair was cut in a way that didn’t make sense and my highlights were copper orange. I messed up by trying to dye my hair at home which made my hair a blondish orange brown, it was a total disaster! I thought I had damaged my hair to the point of no return but Brittany was able to make it as beautiful as ever. She really knows her stuff. She first sat down with me and we talked about what my hair had gone through and what she could do to save it. She did a demi permanent color which ended up completely getting rid of the terrible highlight and dye job my hair went through and gave me beautiful layers. I went there feeling ugly and left feeling gorgeous! I highly recommend Brittany. She is sweet, knowledgable, helpful, and does her very best to make you feel beautiful!

Went to the salon for the first time had appointment with Carmen for a root touch up and trim. Carmen fit me in her schedule at the last minute and did an awesome job on my hair. I finally found a salon and hair stylist that I love. Thanks Carmen.

Karissa is exceptional! Best hair stylist & colorist. I have very difficult hair and she always makes it look amazing!!!

Love this salon. Everyone is friendly. Michael is the best hair stylist I have ever been to and I have been to many stylists over my lifetime, in areas from Denver to Beverly Hills and he is simple a magician. Hugs to Michael

Love this place! Karissa did my hair for my wedding and she did a fantastic job. I came back after my wedding and got my hair cut off. Again, she did a wonderful job. She gave me her honest opinion, and helped me make my hair awesome. And she charges reasonable prices for my hair. As long as I live in Vegas, she is who I will go see. :)

My stylist, Melissa S. is the most awesome and wonderful chicka I could ever ask for! I Iive waaayyy up in NW Vegas, and I have been going to her for over 5 years. Once you find your perfect stylist, you keep them no matter what!
She always transforms me from a haggard Chewbacca to a proper Queen! She’s done all kinds of cuts and colors on me, from long to short to casual to crazy to «normal mom» which never lasts long, since I love to Funk my look up! She is THE BEST and I won’t trust in anyone else!

Lettie is just wonderful! I have dark brown hair and did a botched up «home» lightening job at home. I came in to Lettie and she fixed my hair color and was quick and professional and made me feel comfortable as soon as I sat in the chair.
I highly recommend her for color and highlights!

Been here twice. First time i left with a burnt mark under my eye-​due to getting eyebrows waxed and I guess the wax was to hot. (It looked like someone punched me so I had to cover my face with makeup). Also during that visit I got my hair cut. It was straight.
Well since I didn’t want to take the chance in getting burnt again (eye– brows) — I just went to get my hair straighting. This time my hair got cut some more (short). Being that I am not a fan of short hair– because now I am going to have to wear makeup and ear –rings so that i don’t look like a stud.

Is there a way to write a review for my stylist specifically?
Lettie is awesome at cutting hair. From what I hear she does great color and highlights, though she hasn’t ever done anything besides cut mine, I know that all of her clients have been happy when I’ve seen them.
The location is one of the best too. The owner (s) of this salon really care about their customers comfort and it shows. I might even say they spoil us.

I go here to see one person who does my hair and that is it. I am not going to say much since I have never used any of the other services. Laura always does a great job with my hair, as little as I have, and is always happy and funny. The place does seem to get warm in the Summer time, not sure if they have a swamp cooler or a old A/​C unit or what. Services are moderately priced and there is quite a few of nice things to look at when your there (if you a guy).

Don’t let the 70’s décor fool you (I admit, I was a bit unsure at the beginning myself), you will leave having experienced an utterly exquisite facial that supercedes the quality of most 5 star hotels and spas. I’ve had many facials and massages both in the U.S. and abroad (Thailand, Hong Kong, Shanghai, etc.) and I have pretty high standards about what I would consider a service worth Unilocaling about. My aesthetician, Mary, has over 15 years of experience and has hands that are as soft as butter and a touch that is like the bed goldilocks chose — just right. If you like discovering undiscovered gems, you owe yourself a visit to this salon and an appointment with Mary! In a word — amazing!

i have worked @ this salon for over 10 years. thank you all for your kind reviews, however i must comment on some of it.
i agree that some of the jewelry is a bit «off». the décor is funky fun, and is in the process of being painted to make it even more bold. back to our retail room, we have high end hair products along with older favorites (paul mitchell).
also to the reviewer that used the word tiny. i probably wouldn’t use that word to desribe our salon, and have never heard it mentioned like that before. we have close to 50 stylist/manicurist.and take up at least 4 suites. but thank you for complementing our staff and services.
a majority of us have worked here for an average of over 5 years. the owner is one of the best salon owners to ever work for!
