I got the Pierna De Puerco torta and it was excellence. The server was super friendly and prompt. The salsa verde that comes with the chips was fantastic! I may have to come back tomorrow if I’m in the neighborhood.

Awesome tortas. This place is just solid all the way around. I usually eat here once a week and it never gets old. Awesome place to cater lunch to your office as well. Everything I’ve had here is good.

Thanks Unilocal, for helping me find this place. Wouldn’t have noticed it on my own. The street tacos are fantastic! With cabbage, yum! The chicken was very flavorful and the staff was fabulous. I will see you all again soon.

We stumbled upon this little gem yesterday and enjoyed every bite. Their tacos are a treat and their tacos dorados are to kill for! This place is very clean, service is attentive and discreet and prices are very fair.

Average place, but I wish I would’ve read reviews before I had ordered a torta. I just figured that that’s the way they were and that I’d never order one again. Now, I’ll give the torta another chance.

Lunch. Figured I give it a try. 5 tacos total. 2 Asada, 1 carnitas, 1 chorizo & papa, and 1 al pastor. It was alright. $ 10 plus tax and tip was $ 13. I checked in and they gave me a free soda. I’ve had better, food was mediocre. Chips and salsa were alright. Chips are from a bag. Probably won’t be back. There are waaaay better Mexican places out there. I depend on Unilocal for all my food needs, and I can’t figure out why this place got high ratings.

I came here about 6months ago and it was great I had a huarache de Asada which was delicious! But I’m back 6 months later and I ordered a carne Asada sope which was horrible the meat was inedible it was way too salty it made my mouth feel like sand paper out of how salty it was I told our waiter and his explanation was simply that’s how the meat is seasoned(over seasoned) and the sope itself was not cooked through! Not coming back its way to over priced and the food is not worth it! 0 stars!

Taco meal. Delicious Beans and wonderful Al Pastor Taco– Pork marinated with pineapple… A must have– Wonderful suggestion by waiter Joe! They weren’t very busy but it was delicious! They seem to have a busy phone order business which makes me happy that this small business will thrive. Joe informed us about Wednesday through Friday 4 to 6 pm Happy Hour 1.50 Tacos and 2.95 beer(Dine in only).

AWESOMEFOOD! To say we love it is an under statement! The rices alone are the most flavorful we have ever eaten. Chips and salsas are incredible everything is just bursting with amazing flavor. And then there is the flan sweetest richest flan we have ever had! Easily the best Mexican Food we have eaten here in Las Vegas! We have found OUR Mexican food restaurant. It is really fantastic food!

Man alive… I just ordered from this lovely place and had it delivered because I’m stuck at work. It’s so nice to have places besides pizza and Chinese that deliver. I ordered the — Taquiza Cilantro. Yes, it’s huge. It’s 1lbs of meat. I got 1lbs of carnitas and I didn’t even eat half. I’ll bring the rest home. Everything was freaking delicious. The tortillas, rice, toppings the grilled peppers… yum. I don’t have much else to say since I didn’t go to the location, but that was an excellent deal for $ 24.95. I will order or go in MANY more times.

Went here on a craving for good Mexican food, and I managed to convince my sister to give a new establishment a try — one I bookmarked from others’ reviews. Have to admit that the people that gave this place 4 or more stars were right… This place is pretty good. Going in, we were greeted right away from the server/cashier/bus person. Friendly guy that made us feel welcome and didn’t rush us to order. Even though we ordered our food to go, he checked up on us to see if we needed anything else while we waited. Towards the end, the chef came out and talked to us with him, promoting their Happy Hour from 5−6PM on Fridays… Mariachi band and all! Still didn’t feel pressured, so it’s impressive the way they’re able to connect to their patrons that way. Honestly, if I didn’t have plans tonight, I would totally hit that place back up! Back to the food… It was awesome! I had the Cilantro Steak Fries and my sister had the Carne Asada Burrito, and we had to share ’cause it was a huge portion on both. I actually didn’t have the other half of my sister’s burrito, and I couldn’t finish my fries. Awesome salsas, and fresh avocado. The fries were definitely steak fries, and was loaded with cheese. They definitely don’t skimp on ingredients, so everything was proportional.

Worst torta I ever had. Very small amount of meat and mostly all bread. Dry and bland. Way over priced for a awful torta. Being from LA, where there are Mexican restaurants everywhere, I know true Mexican food when I see it. This place gets 2 thumbs down. After posting this review, I scrolled down to read other reviews and noticed someone saying the SAMETHING. No meat all bread. Sorry to hear I’m not the only one.

With delicious food and great service, this place deserves a lot of customers. First there’s no salsa bar but they bring out a little condiment stand with three different salsas and they all have distinct flavor. Really good flavor :) Location wise, I didn’t have such high expectations but I was legitimately impressed. Elizabeth who took care of us is amazing and always made sure to check in with us. And she’s super funny. And by the way, FREEHORCHATAREFILLS. I normally get their plates, the enchilada mole and divorcidas(?) are amazing. And not only that, THEIRRICE. WHATISINIT. SO. GOOD. Mom got the carne asada fajitas and legit slabs of steak came out. Mom is raving about how good it is. Overall, Myself, mom, and grandma, all give a three thumbs up here. Check this place out when yall get the chance!

A truly authentic Mexican mom and pop restaurant with great food. Mine could have been served a little hotter in temperature, but it was all good. Cold beer served in a frozen glass is always a plus, and the waitress was delightful. I like it, and we’ll be back!

We love Cilantro Tacos! Everything is home made(well, in a restaurant, yes), but you can tell your dinner is the product of hundreds of years of tradition. This is food of countless abuelitas, making the best of what they have and making it incredible. First, their chipotle salsa is amazing. I have lost track of how many times we’ve stopped in just to get a couple containers. I seriously need someone to decode its secrets for me. My wife typically does not eat spicy food, but she loves, loves, loves this stuff. They offer some stuff that is hard to find elsewhere. Alhambres is a mixture of grilled fresh chiles, cheese, avocado, and the meat of your choice. I couldn’t stand not knowing what the word meant, but it sounded incredibly familiar for some reason, so a quick Googling revealed that it means«wire». …as in the wire you’d use to cook a shish kabob. One of their rotating specials is also a named after metal and shows the sense of pride in tradition. In this case, it’s a giant piece of steel. A farm implement, precisely, the«disco»: discada. This is another mixture of «a little of this, a little of that» that probably developed as a way to utilize leftovers. Bite sized bits of beef, ham, sausage(hot dogs? were they hot dogs? If they were, then GOOD! I don’t care.), chorizo, pork, chiles, etc., all cooked individually in a mixture of broth and beer, then mixed up. Traditionally, it’s cooked in a plow disc(the«disco») that has lost its usefulness, welded shut, and often with a lip added. Often, the greatest things come purely from necessity and using all of your available resources. I can understand why they don’t offer this every day. It’s so very good, but it must take quite awhile to prep. Cilantro Tacos also offers a Taqueria platter which would be great for a family or group. It’s a pound or two of meat and all the setup needed for a group to make tacos. Fantastic option for family style dining. The staff is always very friendly and the food is always very good. I hesitate to NOT give them five stars, but it’s those damned«authentic» chairs that keep it from being«as good as it gets» for me. They’re wooden, straight backed, and just not entirely comfortable for a long time. They look like they’re built to survive many, many drunken brawls in a dusty border cantina from the 1800s. If only I could give 4.5 stars, I certainly wood! (sorry)

It was dead on a Friday night, across the street from a hoppin’ movie theater. That alone should have told me to temper down my expectations. The staff were super friendly, but the menu in place differs from what their website and Unilocal show: new menu has more items but is more expensive too. The asada fries I was originally considering are now up to $ 11– nevermind. Ordered their tacos azules: one fish, one shrimp; and a basic carnitas taco. Salsa bar is pretty basic with a hot, a mild, and a spicy option, and limes. Opened my takeout order to find three azules-style tacos– the carnitas was topped with cabbage and a cream sauce instead of cilantro and onions. Carnitas was dry and crispy, fish and shrimp were mediocre: fish was baked and flavorless instead of baja style; bay shrimp were tiny and bland. Not thrilled that I spent $ 10 for three tiny street tacos, ate 1.5 before tossing the rest. Poor value– I suspect the management raised prices to accommodate for their lack of traffic. Maybe cut your staff instead: friendly or not, it doesn’t take four people to run this place. I was the only customer, and somehow managed to they overcharge me and mess up my order.

Cilantros is a small and traditional Mexican restaurant. We were mostly impressed with Joe our server. He was so attentive and friendly which made us feel welcomed. The food was also very good and the prices were even better. They have a salsa bar with unique salsas that you normally won’t find in most places. The décor is very modest and casual. We ordered the alambres plate and la ranchera. They were both very good and tasty. They also provided us with complementary chips and salsa. Wooohoo!

Hey this place is not bad! I didn’t have high hopes of it being authentic bc of its location(outskirts of Summerlin), but to my surprise all the customers were Latino, always a good sign when eating at a Mexican place. Their prices have gone up a little since that past few months. The tacos are now $ 2.25 to $ 2.75 instead of $ 2-$ 2.25. Also no more lengua. :(And the Cilantro steak fries are now $ 9.95 vs $ 8.95. We got the carne asada torta for $ 5.95(vs $ 5.50 before) and the al pastor burrito for $ 6.50(vs $ 5.95). The portions are on the smaller side, but this is a good thing with Mexican food being as heavy as it is. The asada is very tender. The bread was fresh and soft. I would have liked a bit more mayo though. The al pastor was also very tender, but a bit too much rice in it. The salsa bar they have is great. The hot one was too hot for me. They also give you chips and salsa while you wait for your food, and that salsa is different than the ones at the salsa bar, which is really good! BTW this place has waiter service, even though looks like a fast casual take out place. Service was very quick and courteous. Will definitely return!
