I’m not a huge fan of chocolate but knew this would be the perfect«night cap» spot for my chocoholic Mom’s birthday celebration. Have stopped in a couple of times prior and always found their offerings to be beautiful. You can tell that they put a great deal of time and attention into their craft. It smells heavenly inside, too! Pretty sure had my Dad not tagged along, my Mom would have forgotten all about the beautiful ring he gave her as she was picking and choosing for her box of truffles and assorted chocolates to go; a little overwhelmed even. More of a dark chocolate/caramel fan myself, the gentleman behind the counter was very knowledgable and enthusiastic in making suggestions for all three of our differing tastes. I was almost reminded of Swiss or Belgian chocolates with the quality and differing Cacao present in varieties. In all, a great place to support and find a lovely hostess gift or something with equal visual and tummy appeal. Glad to have come with a true chocolate lover this time because it made me appreciate and learn more. Another cool spot in Tivoli, a place nearby where I like to pop in and out of shoppes when I have the time. Definitely a must try!

I know its cliché that women like chocolates. I like weird and interesting chocolates. Everything from the key lime pear chips that are dipped in chocolates to the port wine squares of lovely! The owner is really kind and answered my husbands numerous questions about which chocolates used El Rey in their formulations. I only wish there was a chocolate co-op in town so we could see the chocolate being made.

Hearts up: Valentine’s is next week, and you can never go wrong with chocolate. Next to the downright delicious treats, the best thing about Brasado is the heavenly smell. It’s like a love potion. One whiff and you’re ready to buy every handmade chocolate delight in the store. All of the items are organic and made by their very own chocolatier, so it is next to impossible to beat their quality and knowledge. Their pieces average $ 1.50/each, and they also offer items by the pound. They have plenty of hearts and thematic airbrushed items(I am fond of chocolates with mini-hearts on the top) to let you know the love of your life you think they’re sweet.(Or to indulge yourself in a private chocolate fantasy.)

I love this place! I discovered it with a friend during a Unilocal shopping crawl, and have been back several times since. They have beautifully boxed chocolates, which I got for a relative, for christmas. They also have a huge selection of chocolate by the pound! I recommend the cypress tress, almond bark, and peppermint bark for starters, though it all looks good! The chocolate is mostly made by the owners, and they really know their stuff. Really sweet too. You can find it in the tivoli village shopping center, across the street from charming charlies… I think.

Brasado Chocolates are handcrafted deliciousness! They might be considered expensive chocolate but they’re worth every bite. The people behind the counter know A LOT about chocolate. I can’t even stump them with chocolate questions if I tried, and I like to quiz people often. They have different variety of chocolates(also ranging in different percentage of cocoa mass) but my favorite are the truffles. You can’t go wrong with any of them but I have my select favorites. If you plan on coming here I just learned that they have a printable coupon online that you can bring in. But during our after Christmas shopping, I took my friend here and she was very impressed with it. We got our chocolates and stopped by the café to sit down and snack on chocolate and espresso before continued on with our shopping. More impressive is that this is a local shop, support your local shops!

Brasado Chocolates was one of our stops on the Tivoli shopping crawl. The chocolates look like art. I gave a box as a gift and my coworker said they were too artistic to eat. I also had a box at home my husband said the same thing but that didn’t stop him from eating them. I have a feeling it didn’t stop my coworker either lol. Thankfully my husband left me some. They were very good! We also purchased a piece of almond /chocolate bark. It was a perfect blend of salty and sweet! They have different sizes of chocolate gift boxes that are perfect for any budget! They have small ones from $ 7.99 to medium ones at $ 15.99. They also have bigger ones but I don’t know how much they are. There is something for every chocolate lover here!
