Came here for happy hour on Friday evening. You can choose from $ 5 appetizers, and there’s 20 to choose from! There are so many good ones that it was hard to just choose a few. We got the Ahi Poke; which comes on crispy wontons with avocado, daikon, cucumber and poke sauce. 5⁄5. Calamari; crispy fried with cherry peppers and Japanese seasoning. Came with sriracha aioli that was so good we asked for a side of it. 5⁄5. Poutine; French fries with melted mozzarella cheese, brown gravy and shredded beef. Pretty good… Even better with ranch! Chicken wings; we got the BBQ. You can choose from other Flavors such as ghost chili! I loved the breading on the wings. So delicious. I definitely will be back to try all the other appetizers! Great service as well.

I love BAR. My friends love it too! If you are looking for a FULL bar, draft beer, and great tasting food, you have landed. BAR offers a large selection of alcohol ranging from PBR to top shelf premium liquors. I love that they serve Rogue Dead Guy on draft. Three Olives, «Get Loopy» with soda water and lime makes for a sweet yet balanced drink! Now that I’m super covered on my drink I have to explain how delicious their food is! I’ve tried something from every category on the menu. My favorites are the boneless BBQ wings, breakfast pouring, and the turkey club in a spinach wrap. Their BAR salad is out of this world as well with blackened chicken, GOATCHEESE(I’m in love with it), strawberries, mixed greens, and pecans all in a strawberry vinaigrette holy moly it is delish! The boneless wings are incredibly tender and flavorful! As far as service goes a pretty handsome server usually takes care of me and my friends. He keeps my beer full and always checks up on us. Has no problem splitting our check. The bartenders are awesome as well, very fast and efficient. Only reason I’m taking a star is for price. I feel as though I’m paying strip prices for drinks. I pay $ 9 for a pint of Dead Guy. $ 5 for a pint of Bud Light. My favorite salad is around $ 14. So a tad excessive but obviously worth it because I go so often!!!

Pricey and slow to recover new customers. Tried to enjoy a few pints and was shot down for the loud college 20 somethings that took over.

They certainly raise the«bar» for bar food. I ended up getting the Vegas cheese steak sliders with bratwurst appetizer. While this meal wasn’t healthy in the least bit, the flavors were all there. The cheese steak had this jalapeño cheese which really nailed it for me. This place also had a really nice ambience for either watching sports or meeting up with friends. Staff was also friendly and attentive.

Another Vegas slot machine station that has drinks and food. Was hoping for a sense of identitiy given their name. Did good job just wished it was cooler. No complaints on naything however besides my own imagination building false idols. Mark

So the food is always good and obviously football here is amazing with all of the TVs. But we came for the first time in a Friday night for drinks and the bar was really busy and our server Kevin was awesome and helped us sort through the list of good items on the menu. It was obviously much busier than the bar expected and they were understaffed. But Kevin handled everything beautifully and still made us comfortable. The first 6 items we ordered they were actually out of for the night, yet somehow he convinced us to stay. Needless to say, BAR is one of the best bar/restaurants in Vegas. And if you ever visit, request Kevin.

I live closer to the new location however I absolutely love this location! I wish it was closer. It’s always packed, it doesn’t matter if it’s at 3am of if its 10am on a Sunday for football! It has a perfect layout for a big group to get together to enjoy a night out or game or just a few friends. The staff is friendly and the food is always good! Because this location is so popular it can be hard to find seating at the bar but that’s really the only downfall.

Born and Raised is one of the top local sports bars here in Las Vegas. One Sunday my brother and I decided to try this establishment out, and man were we blown away. This place has tons of TV’s with every game playing. I especially love football Sunday! I can see every game at one time while enjoying incredible food. Another bonus for football lovers, is the ability to reserve coach style seating, or tables around the extra large big screens. Now, while there we decided to create our own smörgåsbord of food for the game. So, we ordered the cookie dough pancakes, regular pancakes, chicken wings, sliders and fries. Yes, we ordered WAY to much food, but everything was really good. The pricing of the food was reasonable and good quality. I personally/absolutely fell in love with the pancakes, they were fantastic. They have sport nights drink specials, and food specials too. This is a hidden gem for us locals here in Las Vegas, and I will be returning again!!!

Just came here for drinks. I love the set up and the service was good. The prices weren’t bad either. It’s a nice local place to have a few drinks. I do want to come back here for food though, particularly their breakfast food. They have cookie dough pancakes, need I say more?! Need. to. try.

Service sometimes can be slow. Their food is awesome!!! Good place for brunch. One of the best bar food in town. Their chicken wings are amazing, they have ghost pepper sauce that burnt my mouth all the way down through my stomach. And I’m Thai I can handle spicy food and this one just killed me! Their Fried pickle is the best!!!

The thing about BAR is that it’s a UNLV bar, and there aren’t a ton of them in this town. If you want to watch a UNLV basketball(or, dare I say, football) game, this is probably the most fun place to be. I was there for the UNLV-UNR football game(which they managed to find on some weird UNR campus-produced channel), and it was awesome in there. Packed, everybody cheering, doing the rebel chant, etc. Décor is vegas-centric, which is cool, and they have a lot of good tshirts for sale. If you want to go to a bar for a good beer selection… don’t go here. If you want a bar with craft cocktails… don’t go here. If you want to go to a restaurant or a family-friendly place… don’t go here. BAR is a sports bar with decent food. Good for a neighborhood spot. Since I live near their new location, I might visit once in a while.

BAR aka Born and Raised is a local bar/restaurant located off Warm Springs and Cimmarron. This is a great bar location with gaming located at the bar specifically and offers outdoor seating on the covered patio as well as indoor seating in booths tables and bar tops. This is a great place for groups and to catch the happy hour specials. There are many TV’s located throughout the bar and can be seen from pretty much any seat in the place. They serve breakfast all day long as well as regular lunch and dinner items and appetizers. A full bar and about 20 draft beers on tap. There is a new location located in Henderson that recently opened however I have not been. The Cimmarron location does offer Delivery though the Bite Squad which is pretty cool overall. Happy Hour is weekdays 4−7pm and late night 3am-6am. They also have Football specials during games and a Ladies Night on Tuesdays. I have had many of the food items and found all to be pretty good such as Blackened Fish Tacos, Build a Burger and Cookie Dough Pancakes, and Fried Chicken and Donut Sandwich! I actually seem to order breakfast more here at any other time than lunch/dinner items. I will certainly be back more than once and enjoy! PS. there is also a group events area that can be reserved for specific events and catering options at this location.

I actually love this place! Surprised by their reviews, but they are right about the service being slow or the servers always being side tracked and being distracted by talking to fellow work mates. Their food is phenomenal and I can’t complain about the quality and price because they’re both 5⁄5. I can’t wait to be able to try everything on their menu. I love their poutine, breakfast poutine, taquitos, calamari, and their locomoco!!! :) This place is really cute and in a great location. They have the best sports shows being displayed, and such a great environment and place to be alone, or with friends! Definitely one of my favorite bars, and my favorite happy hour spot.

My manchop and I have been to BAR(Born And Raised) countless times now and I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write them a review! We were referred to this awesome establishment by a guy helping us move to the area over two years ago! We were both pleasantly surprised that a stand alone restaurant in suburban Las Vegas could deliver such a fantastic variety for a great price and with incredible quality. Their food is heaven. I’ve tried several things but their«build-your-own-burger» option always makes me feel excited and adventurous(plus, I could live the rest of my life on their fries alone… SOGOOD!!). Today I had a burger with goat cheese, mayo, lettuce, onions, pickles, and sprouts on a potato bread bun and it was a delectable combination of savory, tangy, buttery, earthy, creamy, and crunchy. Hit the spot! The service was great too. Our server checked up on us at just the right times and was quick with every request. Many times our various past servers will strike up a quick conversation as well which(at other places) can seem more like a nuisance than anything, but for some reason, at BAR, it just makes you feel welcome and comfortable. I like that about this place. One last piece of info about Born And Raised… The décor is so eclectic! It’s like a neighborhood sports bar, The Cosmopolitan hotel, and Commonwealth bar(downtown LV) had a love child and that love child got real sexy after high school. It’s swanky, hip, sleek, and cozy all in one take. Whoever designed it deserves a medal! All in all, VERY cool establishment. Great food, great service, great aesthetics… An impeccable reflection of the town it calls home! Born And Raised in Las Vegas never had a truer definition than BAR!!! Keep it up guys!

I recently organized an event, the Metal Monday Meetup, at Born and Raised. I’m pleased to report that B.A.R. were gracious hosts. Even though my reservation got lost for this event, the manager on duty accommodated my group with no problem at all with only an hour’s notice. Staff pushed tables together for us and placed a «Reserved» placard on our table. The waitress, thank goodness, split up everyone’s separate checks without compliant. The Metal Meetup was organized around Happy Hour specials — me and my husband took advantage! Born and Raised Happy Hour Specials: Happy Hour Weekdays | 4pm — 7pm $ 3 Coors banquet & Coors light $ 4 blue moon & blue moon seasonal $ 4 premium well drinks $ 5 appetizers(20 to choose from) FRIEDPICKLES($ 5HH): I can’t stand pickles, so this appetizer was all for my husband! He said they were a-ok. 3⁄5 TEXASNACHOS($ 5HH): For him because he got chicken in them. I was expecting the usual piled up nachos but these were like individual serving size nachos. Each chip was loaded with the fixings. Have to admit, he wasn’t a fan. 2⁄5 SWEETCORNTAMALECAKES($ 5HH): This was a creative dish that vastly differed from your usual bar fare. I could have done without the pico, but what they heck I gobbled it up anyways! 3.5÷5 SERVICE: The waitress was awesome! She checked up on us pretty frequently. Whenever a new member joined us at the table, she was at the ready to take some new orders. 5⁄5 VIBE: Higher-end bar with a nod to UNLV athletics. The main centerpiece is a wall of TV screens. The Stanley Cup happened to be on that day. I liked the cute patio area and how open the bar was. 4⁄5 Worth a Return Visit! I say yes! Everyone in the group thought B.A.R. was a pretty cool place. Make sure you come during Happy Hour. Unilocal100CHALLENGE2015: #120

This place rocks! I’ve been driving by it for such a long time and finally stopped in and it was so worth it! The menu is big and there’s a lot of fun food options to choose from. I had a hard time deciding what to try because I wanted everything! The locations is convenient and its big with lots of room for a big crowd. They layout is great because you can choose to be near the bar, outsider or a more cozier quieter spot so the options are great. Service was great too and our waitress was funny and almost sat down with us to help us eat all the food we ordered. Like mentioned the menu is great and you can’t really go wrong at this place. Try the chicken on donuts!!!

I’ve been looking forward to eating a breakfast here for some time, but it is on the other side of town so I’d never gone here. My friend and I were looking for a place for MNF and he suggested this place, and I was all over it! Let’s go. So we made the 25 minute drive over to this side of town. I really like the place. Great set up for a game, great place to just hang out and relax. The bar area with the tables against the wall actually facing forward is pretty cool. The menu has lots of delicious options, it was hard to figure out what I wanted. For the game, they had $ 5 appetizers and $ 4 well drinks. I ordered the con queso and it was really good, a touch spicy, and a large portion. 4 stars. I also order the Monte Cristo breakfast, with ham, turkey, egg on french toast. Again the food was 4 stars… delicious and a huge portion for $ 12. Now the bad part. Service. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had for service. My friend ordered his 2nd beer, and my drink was empty. He asked for water with lemon, my drink was empty. Did the waitress care? Nope. Did she even acknowledge my presence at the table? Nope. Took his order and quickly walked away. This happened basically all night. I mentioned to my friend that I don’t think she likes me, and after that statement he noticed it everytime she came to the table. Very rude, poor customer service. Also when we got served our food, she failed to bring ketchup, or syrup to the table. We had to ask. I don’t know where she kept disappearing to, but it was like 10 minutes after our food was served that she finally came over. And when it came time to pay the bill, with the place pretty quiet, she was 20 minutes behind and then slow with the whole payment. Basically when the check came she ran over and just tossed it on the table and then disappeared for 10 more minutes. Rarely do I ever tip less than 20%, but this time it was $ 5 on a $ 66 bill. I will return to the bar, but this girl will never serve me again… EVER. Big loss of a star and probably alot of return business from myself.
