I pay $ 10 a month to tan fri-sun and its totally worth it. Every salon I have been to the employees are always nice, informative, and in a good mood. This location and Maryland pkwy/silverado are my favorite!

If i could give 0 stars I would. The way this business is run could be compared to a pathetic reoccurring billing scam. The girls at the front desk are in no way, shape or form educated about their own policies. I signed up for a VIP package. I was under the impression that I could cancel whenever i wanted. Nothing was clarified to me upon purchase. 5 months later when i tried to cancel they said i had signed a form agreeing to 10 months of automatic withdrawals and I COULDNOT cancel. If i canceled they would charge me 200 $. I decided to make the most of it and let my 10 months run out. I happened to move away in the 9th month of my service, i went into the store and the girl assured me they expire after 10 months unless you renew. WRONG. I moved away and still received withdrawals from them months later. I emailed corporate(probably a bunch of bimbos in a room huddled around a lap top screen teaching each other how to type) and they responded rudely that I was required to send in a written request to cancel my subscrition 30 days BEFORE i wanted the last payment to go through. Fabulous, so cancel it now! Again«Nope» they said. Apparently I had signed up only 6 months ago and was committed to another 4 months of payment unless i wanted to pay the 200 $ cancellation fee. AREYOUKIDDINGME. I have been charged by your company for a year now! Not only is this business run in such a sleazy way, clearly they have a piss poor rating for a reason. Its run by a bunch clueless baboons who do not believe in customer service and make their money by avoiding the ‘FINEPRINT’ all together. Do not waste your time.

NOHOTWATER!!! Totally unsanitary! I used to come to this location regularly. I use the restroom and tried to wash my hands with hot water and there wasn’t any so I told the lady at the front desk who told me it wasn’t her responsibility and she didn’t own the place. I called the corporate office and spoke to someone who lied to me and told me someone would be out that day to fix it, and now I’m back two weeks later and try to wash my hands and still no hot water. Now I asked the lady at the front how they wash the towels and she told me just in cold water. Absolutely filthy. This also means all the employees are using the restroom without washing their hands properly and then folding all the towels that haven’t been sanitized correctly.

Stay Away! The Management of this company are jerks. They will not respond to emails. All they want is your money. DONOT sign up for any Memberships! Go elsewhere.

Buyer beware, even if you specifically think you are purchasing only a limited number of tanning sessions they may go ahead and sign you up for a renewing membership without your knowledge. That’s what happened to me. When I noticed it on my credit card bill and discovered they had been charging me for several months I called corporate to ask them to refund me they said NO I had signed a contract. Um no, I had signed on an electronic pad for the service I thought I had purchased. The lady said I should have asked for a printed contract, Why would I have done that, I thought I was only paying for the month of sessions I agreed too? This is bad business.

Went in today to inquire about rates. The girl at the front desk looked irritated. She was cleaning the floor when I came in. Didn’t acknowledge my presence whatsoever, no «hello, how are you». I prefer to do stand up beds, and the only one they have is month-to-month for $ 99. Sorry, but what is up with the prices? I understand its level 4, but why don’t you add other standup beds with a lower level? I asked how much would it be for just one month, and she pointed at some membership for $ 189. Are you joking? I’d rather drive extra 10 miles to another tanning salon. It sucks that this Is the only tanning salon in Southern Highlands. Crappy customer service and crappy selection.

Staff is friendly. Never crowded. Lots of bed options. Member upgrades a bit pricey other than that no complaints.

Communication isn’t this company’s strong point. The employees are misinformed as to company rules, that or they purposely cheat you out of ever dollar. Regardless of if you are a high paying client or long term patron. They have a monopoly in Vegas with having the most abundant of locations but I highly recommend the extra drive to another salon.

After hearing the radio commercials for Bodyheat Tanning I decided to give spray tanning a try. I was quickly told the pricing options and I decided to buy the 10 month unlimited spray tan for around 60 $ per month. A bit pricey, but in the end I think I am paying for the convenience. Sure I could buy the do it myself tanning lotions, but the overall accuracy of the machine makes it worth every penny. The store is clean and there is hardly ever a wait. I rarely see the same employees working there, but check in is speedy and there is no real need to interact with them. Parking can be a challenge because the area is rather busy. I have received many compliments on my skin and I know that I am getting the tan I desire without sacrificing time by laying out or causing unwanted wrinkles.

I chose to go to Body Heat Tanning after my previous salon was inconveniently closed on sundays. When I signed up I was not informed of any membership only that it was x amount of money each month. I decided to stop tanning in October after a wedding since I did not want to damage my skin unnecessarily in these winter months. Unfortunately, I was unaware of the fees that were adding up in my account after I had not cancelled. Finally when I emailed to cancel and asked for a refund for the past month I did not get a response for two weeks and in the response my refund request was ignored and whoever emailed me told me I have to pay for the next month as well since I need to cancel a month in advance before my next«deadline.» Keep in mind I was supposed to cancel November 1st and I canceled November 4th. I HIGHLY recommend not going to Body Heat Tanning unless you want to be cheated out of your money and deal with terrible management and employees.

Came here after planet beach showed its true colors(see my review) and everyone was incredibly nice. I chose to sign up for 10months of auto deduct since I’ve been tanning consistently for 5 years, not a problem. No initiation, prorated dues so I could start immediately, 3 locations that are 24 hours and it’s around the corner from my house. Thumbs up, thank you to whomever signed me up– so sweet:)

I gave 2 stars just because the place looked nice, but that’s where it ends. It’s $ 36 a month for the basic pkg, which is all well and fine, so I go to sign up and AFTER they swipe my credit card the spiel starts that it is a month to month BUT a also contract that I will have to cancel 30 days in advance(I hate these kind of places, they always screw you out of another payment in the end), and that I will have to pay for oct AND nov before I can cancel. I tell them i’d rather just pay cash and not deal with that, and now the price immediately jumps up to $ 60 a month for BASIC tanning. Oh, AND we forgot to tell you there is an initial $ 25 processing fee. Ummmm, $ 25 for me to just walk in? No thanks. I just walked out. But it would have been nice if they could have informed me of ALL their policies and prices BEFORE I wasted 30 mins there and gave them my information. Was a bit shady.

I’ve been to three different stores and everyone is always so friendly! At one store they even remember who I am. It’s great!!?

Abused my skin with daily visits here in the weeks leading up to my vacation so that I wouldn’t burn to a crisp on the Mediterranean coast. It worked. There’s a good variety of beds here including stand-up tanners so you can alter up your tanning routine. Everything is clean and in good condition. Staff is fine. Ready to answer any questions you might have and friendly enough. No complaints about this place other than the prices, but tanning in general is a pretty high markup racket. Just be sure to get your lotions elsewhere. I will likely be back here in the spring before heading to Miami.

Bodyheat is the best place to get unlimited spray tan. Instabronze is amazing! It doesn’t turn orange and gives you a natural looking tan. They also have regular tanning booths but due to my fair, redheaded complexion, I try to stay out of the sun. The staff is awesome(Yay Rachel, Alicia and Sarah!). They are always so adorable with my kids and give them a sticker every time. The prices aren’t too bad either($ 65 for the unlimited spray tan package). Would definitely suggest this place for all you sun worshipers and people who just want a bit of color in their complexion.
