Meh, was OK. Real pricey I thought. Service very good, portions small. Needed a sandwich afterwards. Started with the antipasta platter which was OK. Decent meats but many dry type cheeses and needed more veggies likes sliced tomato or marinated peppers maybe. Then had veal piccata over angle hair which was super tasty but just not a lot there. $ 30 entrée, yikes. Was OK but would not make a point to go back.

Delicious food and excellent service. I had the veal Marsala and it was perfectly cooked and seasoned. One of our party had the lobster ravioli, one had the chicken picatta and my partner had the seafood stew. All were amazing as were the desserts But nothing enhances a dining experience like a great server and our server, Amber, took this to the next level. She was completely knowledgeable about everything we asked her about and as gracious and pleasant as any server we have ever had anywhere. Amber has worked there for 22 years as of this posting! You just don’t find that kind of consistency very often but when you do it makes your night. Thanks, Amber, for a delightful meal.

Food was fresh, excellent, and perfectly portioned. Killer martinis prepared by a bartender that means business! lol Staff was friendly, attentive, and polite. Hidden gem inside the Tropicana. It’s not a particularly fancy place like many of the«all show and no go» establishments found on The Strip, but it’s clean. Reminded me of many street-side restaurants in Italy. My husband and I had a very enjoyable time. Definitely recommend this place. I’m a Las Vegas local.

Food was great and service is excellent. It’s a small plain establishment, not your typical fine dining feel but with a fine dining price tag. Prices a little high for the setup, i would give it a 3.5 star if possible due ambience not matching price level. However service and food quality was up to par.

Food and service were just OK. There are definitely better choices for Italian fare on the Strip. My mushroom triangoli was warm, but not piping hot as I was hoping for. The«Spumoni» dessert had a funky texture to it. If you’re at the Tropicana, go across the walkway & eat at Biscayne instead.

We went here for dinner prior to a comedy show at the Trop. The service was quick and friendly. The calamari appetizer was large enough for four people. The dinners were of reasonable size and were of decent quality. Certainly not the best Italian in town but a nice place for a pre show dinner.

We went there after watching a show last night at the Tropicana. There were four of us in are party, two had the Chicken Parmigiana, one had the past with the chicken and artichokes, and I had the penne pasta with cheese. In addition, we ordered Calamari(which never came :(() as well a bottle of wine and a beer. In terms of the food, it was pretty good. Everyone loved their meals(I was only OK with mine, I thought it needed a little more seasoning) but the service was atrocious. We sat for ten minutes prior to even being acknowledged, and then order our drinks immediately. Even then, we still did not receive our wine until after we ordered the appetizer and the beer came after the rest of us were served our wine. Then with the appetizer being forgotten, the server never even checked back on us. To top it off, we had a table that wobbled which was extremely annoying. I was very disappointed. I really felt food was good, but if you are going to charge prices like they were, you should at least receive four star service and not the service we received.

I went in for some dinner after a grueling day of 116 temperature. I was exhausted and wanted to eat something AMAZING and have a nice glass of wine. I must confess… Italian is one of my least favorite cuisines because it’s never done to my liking… Ever! No, I’ve never been to Italy… But I know what I like… Ya know. Anyway, I remember Michelle from Biscayne, directly across the walk way, telling me about a «beef ravioli» that I just had to try… From there… So I figured… Well heck! It’s on my way to my room, I exhausted … Let’s do it. I’ll tell you what! The hostess got me a table in a flash! I was sitting alone so she took the second setting away without me even knowing, had bread, EVOO, balsamic and water on the table before I could even blink! My server Came over to my table within a reasonable time and apologized for having to wait and thanked me for my patience. So nice of him… Not necessary but super nice anyway. The place was packed! It was 8:30 at night on a Tuesday. There are not that many seats inside, lol… But boy was it packed! Ha ha. This is the kind of place that changes the white table cloth every table turn. I have a thing about tables… So I can’t tell you how much I love that! The noise level was perfect… You could hear a murmur… But no conversations specifically. A bit dark, but it was perfect for me because of my exhausting day. Anyway… I decided to order the recommended plate from Michelle, but couldn’t find the«ravioli» on the menu. So I asked the server what that may be. He said it was the«Tortellachi di carne». The description looked amazing — Short Rib Tortellachi, 16 hour braised beef belly, fresh spinach in a veal glaze! RIIIIGHT, who wouldn’t get that! It was PERFECT. The huge hand made, hand rolled tortellini type thing was done perfect, not mushy, not al dente… Just perfect! Everything was piping hot… And I swear they put the fresh spinach and garlic on it was the sever was taking out of the window! Lol. Seriously… Awesome!!! The layers and layers of flavor you get with this dish … Unbelievable! The hand made, hand rolled pasta, then the beef then the spinach then the garlic! Then Comes the veal, fresh big slices of parmesan and the finish of the creamy bits and pieces of the belly! Awesome!!! The only criticism I have for this plate is … A bit too much salt. BUT! When you add in the bread and the wine… It balances everything out alright. I would get that again and again! The server checked on me several times, almost being protective because I was by myself. I thought that was very thoughtful! He was not intrusive or annoying. Never tried to start a long conversation and knew I was wanting to get to my room! He checked in with me to be sure I didn’t want desert or an espresso… As a courtesy… AWESOMEJOB! If you valet park, — FREE, you can easily get to this place within 1 – 2 min walk thru the casino. The only reason I gave this place 4 stars is because of the salt and the light level. The dish was over salted, but delicious regardless. If Unilocal had a 4 and ¾ star… I would give them that! Honestly… Everything else was spot on! I’ll be going back for sure! Thanks for taking such good care of me!

I recently discovered a hidden gem in The Tropicana with Biscayne. So, when I saw a Groupon for Bacio I thought maybe it would a hidden gem too. Definitely not the case. I had a reservation and we were promptly seated upon arrival. The bread basket came out and that was unremarkable. Our waiter stopped by and I let him know that we had a Groupon. I think this was the end of his interest in our table. I had the lobster ravioli and my husband had the veal parmesan. Both dishes were okay, but not great. As we were finishing our meal the waiter left our check without asking if we even wanted dessert. My main problem with this restaurant was the service. I didn’t understand the servers anger over the Groupon. I always order dessert, but after his rudeness I wasn’t going to hunt him down to get dessert. He should take a lesson from Ken at Biscayne who was awesome even after finding out we had a Groupon. Ken is the reason that we’ll go to Biscayne again and pay full price. We also tipped more than the required amount for Ken’s outstanding service. Lastly, while the food was okay, it wasn’t great. I would liken it to a chain Italian restaurant. On the strip you have to be careful when choosing restaurants because some are absolutely worth the cost while others are essentially chain restaurants at strip pricing. Bacio is basically a chain at strip pricing. There are much better Italian places in town like Ferraro’s(near Hard Rock) or Nove(Palms). Heck, skip the Italian and go across the hall to Biscayne, ask for Ken.

Wow great all around. Good bread, decent wine selection, great service and incredible food. Calamari was light and a large portion. Cesar was a bit heavy on anchovy but good. Rissoto incredible, will be back.

Came here during a bachelorette party for dinner, after all of us had pre-gamed pretty hard and were probably really annoying to serve! Nevertheless, the staff at Bacio was friendly, playful, and attentive. One of the girls in our group wasn’t happy with her cocktail and the waitress gladly asked the bartender for another and left the previous for free. The rest of us loved our cocktails. Food was delicious and well-portioned and, to my satisfaction, the bread did not stop coming! Would eat here again.

The fiancé and I shared the veal parmigiana, a bottle of Riesling, and arancini. the first bread basket that came out was all hard I dry. I though they meant to serve us crostini! When we got our second bread basket, I realized that the first one was definitely bad because this one was super soft and fluffy! The arancini was only OK. the rice for the risotto was still a little hard and chalky. If it were fully cooked, im sure I would have enjoyed it much more. oh and for a dish that is deep fried, it was served to us tepid. sad day. the Riesling that the waiter recommended to us was awesome! the veal parmigiana was amazing. a giant veal chop on the bone pounded thin, all breaded and fried and then topped with marinara sauce and mozzarella cheese, all broiled until the cheese was bubbly and served on a bed of angel hair pasta garnished with micro basil. it was seriously one of the best things I ate on our vegas trip. not sure if I would come back because there are so many awesome eats in vegas and I want to try them all, but I would definitely recommend it to people who are in the mood for Italian!

After reading other reviews, we hesitated in going here, but really wanted Italian and have eaten at most other places around. So glad we did! We first started with Martinis at the steakhouse across the aisle and they were fantastic. We chose a seat at the restaurant next to the walkway. We didn’t feel the people walking by were at all intrusive, but made us feel like we were outside. Our server Todd, and his assistant Laura were fantastic. They made good suggestions and helped us along the way. We started with the caprese salad and the risotto balls. The buffalo mozzarella was fresh, and there were different types of tomatoes which was interesting. The risotto was mixed with mozzarella cheese and then fried and served with a marinara sauce. So good that I was full, but had to have my pasta. I had the pasta bolognese and my husband had one of the veal chop dinners. Both were great! The veal chop was huge, with a bread crumb coating. So tender and delicious and served with a salad on top, which made it interesting. The pasta was great. Cooked perfect and the bolognese was good. Both came out steaming hot which we love. They have a nice wine list, and prices weren’t too crazy. Overall, super happy with our choices and will return.

The food is pretty good, and our server was very nice! Very pricey tho and the location and ambiance is very lacking. We got a LivingSocial deal for half off voucher here, so we decided to give this place a try. Parking was a nightmare at the Tropicana, and we had to walk a long way from the parking structure to the entrance then another long walk over to the restaurant. The restaurant was tiny and sort of inappropriately built on the side of a walkway, lacking any type of ambiance or privacy. The floor looked dirty and aged. Our hostess was nice enough to seat us by a small table at the window. We got one salad to share, one glass of wine, 2 entrees and the bill without the voucher was $ 120. Hella expensive and definitely over priced! This restaurant is a slightly better middle ranged restaurant but definitely not a «fine dining» establishment and the prices do not reflect that. The food: salad was average. The chicken entrée was seasoned well and cooked well. The salmon dish was definitely my favorite, lightly sauteed, juicy and soft. The spinach side that came with it was also seasoned well, flavorful and cooked well. I would come here again if we had another voucher, but definitely would not pay full price for this place.

I love this restaurant! I have eaten here a few times and It’s always really good. The tropicana is not really my first choice when selecting a hotel on the strip to visit but the restaurant makes it worth it. Their service is five star, the staff is all very friendly, knowledgable of the menu, and always checking in during your meal. The drinks are delicious, and I enjoyed the $ 10 red wine a lot! The food was amazing, I had the chicken parm,(only complaint is it needs more red sauce– which they gave me right away when I asked for it!!) The fried calamari is great! I had their desserts are all fantastic! So so delicious. If you’re staying on the strip near tropicana and want a nice place to relax and enjoy dinner then check this place out.

If I were on my deathbed, I would request to be wheeled over to eat at Bacio because it would feel like a LIFETIME!!! I dined here because of a $ 150 food credit. With so many quality restaurants in Las Vegas, the ones at The Tropicana aren’t on the top of my list. They’re not even on the list. But color me surprised when I saw their 4 course tasting menu with wine pairings for only $ 39. Hey! That made«restaurant week» look expensive. It’s a shame we didn’t even get to the third course after 2+ hours. I felt even worse for the couple from Italy at the next table playing the same waiting game. Why in God’s name would actual Italians eat here!!! Their saving grace was that the food I did try was actually decent. The«Risotto Capesante» with scallops, asparagus and prosciutto paired with a crispy white wine was surprisingly good. I would’ve been happy with this dish as all four courses. The«White Peach» salad I received over an hour later was also good but the wait made it taste a little less good. My dinner companions ordered a la carte and got the veal parmigiana(huge and juicy) and shrimp risotto 90 minutes after ordering. If they actually got this whole«serving food in a timely manner» down, Bacio wouldn’t be a half bad place. What the heck was going on in the kitchen? My guess was the chef suffered from narcolepsy. We had less than 35 minutes to make a 10pm show at Caesars Palace. I spoke with the manager to express my displeasure and he took the 2 course dinners off the bill. The server was super nice, apologetic and took care of a round of drinks too. At least they made an effort to make it right. They then boxed up our last two courses of lobster gnocchi(rubbery) and apple granola cheesecake. The dessert then melted in my car and went straight into the garbage.

Amber our server was excellent. Huge smile and very attentive. My girl and I tried the Calamari, slow cooked meatballs, rigatoni and the chicken parmigiana. Calamari — tasted light but oily. Meatballs — Big and full of flavor. Rigatoni — Just Ok. Parmigiana — Huge portion & good. Will I return… No. With so many options, I think I would rather take my money somewhere else. If you have a TropPlus Card you save a $ 1 on items. I think the prices are pricier then what most Italian places charge. I for one wanted to try it for myself, was full yes, was happy with service… Yes. Will I return, No!
