Anthony Cools presents Strip Comedy

I don’t know what’s with the bad reviews but I thought this show was great. This was my second time seeing Anthony Cools and he never disappoints. This is a hypnotist show but with a raunchy twist.
The entire show is based upon the volunteers from the audience. Anthony will actually kick people off the stage if he doesn’t feel they are hypnotized, which is awesome.
Once hypnotized he has the volunteers perform hysterical acts. The one I thought was hilarious was every time he said this guy’s name he had to call a friend on his phone and tell them an embarrassing secret about himself. Another guy once his name was said he looked into the audience and saw a topless girl. It was quite entertaining.
After the show Anthony even came to the bar and hung out with everyone from the show. The theatre is quite small but it gave it an intimate feel, which I loved.
I definitely recommend this show.

YOU CANT FAKE IMPROV!
Located at The Lounge inside The Palms Casino. Just like the show, «Who’s line is it anyway?», these guys take it one step higher with their raunchy adult oriented impromptu skits. Of course most of the material is provided by the audience, which can lead to a lot of quick witted one liners and smart ass remarks.
You have two teams of improv actor/​comedians each acting out skits. After both have finished, the audience decides which team was funnier. Once they decide who won, that team has a beautiful female assistant that gets one piece of clothing taken off just as you would in strip poker only opposite.
The host, Kopy Kopatich, does a great job of keeping order even though it seems everything is in total hilarious chaos.
Overall, these guys do a good job of making stuff up out of thin air and that’s not easy. A solid 4 stars.
