A French restaurant in Vegas has sooooo much competition. I happily chose a pricier one because I wanted GREAT food and OUTSTANDING service with an upscale atmosphere. None of that exists here. The food is good. Not great but good. And at $ 130 for just myself, it needed to be great. The service was attentive buy rough and poorly timed. The guys weren’t friendly and kept popping up on me whenever my mouth was full. The muse en bouche was carrot and something or other that was so heavy on onion that it spoiled the taste because the onion was over powering. I then had sweet pea and king crab ravioli that tasted like just pea. It was good. Then I had delicious grilled duck foie gras served on mashed pecans with mustard – not a great compliment for the foie gras, but perhaps that’s just me. I then had the Lobster Thermidor which was good. Not great. But good. I skipped dessert because I would rather eat dessert elsewhere where it may be spectacular. Besides, I spent $ 130 on this meal that would have been 4 stars(maybe 3.5) at half the price. I should have spent the money elsewhere, but this is how we learn! The décor is out dated, dark, and heavy. Oh! And valet charged me $ 8 to park here even though every other casino is free to park.

This was one of the first French restaurants that got to go to and have been back multiple times since. It does hold a special place in our hearts. This was the first place wife ever got foie and boy has she been hooked since! They have had a really nice seared foie gras that is was paired apple one time and pear the other. Since that first experience at Andre’s anytime there is seared foie on the menu it is the likely choice. With our most recent they had revised the menu slightly. They had added a pasta/risotto section of which at that time they had crab ravioli. It was disappointing as bit into a piece of shell. The French onion soup is always delicious, and comes out piping hot every time. For entrees I always get the lobster thermidor. It comes plated inside the tail shell covered in a rich cream sauce. There are some veggies included and the portion is huge so there is no need to order sides if you get this. Wife has mixed it up with some inconsistent results. Last time she got the salmon and requested it cooked medium rare. Definitely missed the temp this time. portions on the apps and entrees are quite large for a fine dining restaurant. Often this leaves us with minimal room for dessert. We usually end up splitting one if we get anything. We have done the gelato sampler or a soufflé when we have gotten desserts. They have been very good and would recommend! Overall had to knock a couple stars off for some inconsistencies, especially the last time there. When we stick to our favorites though this place tends to shine and we leave satisfied.

Not bad. You will absolutely love their presentation. So pretty you’d think they were Japanese presentation masters. Below the surface, however, mixed reviews here. Loved their escargot(can’t really mess that up), and wowed by the foie gras terrine. Absolutely a must. The Dover sole came highly recommended, but I actually felt it was only slightly above average. Good, but nothing outstanding. The lamb dish was good. Again, nothing phenomenal. The mid-cut ribeye was very good, especially if you opted for truffle butter. Potato purée was a good accompaniment. Now, this is where things got interestingly amazing. We had pre-ordered the soufflé at the beginning, which is standard. Having been only slightly appreciative of the entrée, I honestly wasn’t looking forward to dessert. Boy. Was. I. Surprised. Oh my god. Their soufflé was incredible. Did not see it coming. I’m a soufflé snob, but was humbled this evening. We ordered both the carrot cake and coconut soufflés. I don’t even like carrot cake, but it had the most excellent balance of sweet and savory that I simply could not stop eating it. But the coconut soufflé… … I saw heaven. Incroyable! Will I come again? If anything, the dessert was amazing enough to do it again in a week.

Stellar experience. One of the best rooms in Las Vegas, really intimate. Service team is fast, functional and most importantly polished. Very high service standards & training. New menu features some smaller more approachable bites(try the frog legs, persillade) but still has the rotating Chef driven seasonal entrees as well as the Andre classics. If you have never been the foie gras(ask for a duo of hot cold) Dover & Thermidor are a must.

We have not been to Andre’s in close to 10 years. We had not returned, as while we felt it was good, it was not great, and considering the prices, there are too many other better choices. Atmosphere is very formal, and quite small. Nice romantic setting. Server was very professional, but not over friendly. I found the food to be very good, but not great — certainly not in keeping with some of the higher strip prices. We were VERY put off by there policy of not being allowed to order the appetizers first. Our server informed us we would have to order all the food at the same time. Sorry, but we had a big problem with this policy. Not a bad experience by any means, however most likely we will wait another 10 years before trying again.

My boyfriend and I made reservations to Andre’s for our 8 year anniversary dinner. It’s inside the Monte Carlo Casino on your left-hand side if you walked from the hotel’s main entrance and on the big artery path that runs through the casino. We were walked to our table which was a booth that was along the wall and faced out, so we sat side by side with a view of the other patrons. We were given an ipad to explore the drink options which categorized the drinks by the type of alcohol that is used in them. We decided to order a la carte instead of the tasting menu, which was an available option. We shared the beef carpacio, roasted chauteubriand, seared diver scallops, and a side of potato purée. I never was a fan of arugula before but when it’s paired with the beef carpacio, it adds this peppery taste that compliments the beef and cauliflower purée so well. On the menu the chauteubriand is suggested for 2 people but it was more than enough! We each got 3 thick slices cooked medium. Although the scallops were the star of the dinner, we both loved how perfectly cooked the scallops were. We had more than enough food but I couldn’t really leave without ordering a soufflé… Luckily for me, my boyfriend is not a big dessert person so I didn’t have to share my chocolate soufflé. It was soo heavenly, I’m pretty greedy so I practically showered the thing in chocolate sauce… At the end of the dinner where we both were so full we were about to keel over, our server brings out a plate of mint chocolate truffles that read ‘Happy Anniversary’ — so cute! We wrote on our open table reservation that we were celebrating our anniversary, but didn’t really expect them to pay attention to the comments. It was such a cute gesture. We also received complimentary cherry soaked in brandy at the end. It was a cute experience, definitely suited for our anniversary dinner. I’d definitely want to come back to try their happy hour and for more scallops and souffles!

While more intimate than I first imagined the restaurant to be, the execution of service and attention to detail on the food was very impressive. There were 4 of us on a Travelzoo prix fixe. Everyone ordered something different from each course — but first we ordered the Foie Gras. I had a different Foie at their sister restaurant Alize before, and this one was equally impressive. These are two of the best foie dishes i’ve ever enjoyed — like candy for grown ups. Every course was delivered thoughtfully, on time and we all shared tastes around the table so it was like getting a dozen courses instead of just 3+. The highlight was retiring upstairs to their separate lounge area and enjoying a very nice appertif. Don’t miss going upstairs after your meal if it’s open! Old school elegance & service meets modern capability at Andre’s, I would say. Bön app

I’m surprised by the amazing reviews of this place. I thought it was good not great. I hate restaurants that is in the middle of the casino floor and this is one of those, it’s a personal choice, some people might like that I don’t. I also made the mistake of ordering the steak. I’m from the Midwest and steak just isn’t the same other places. It was ok at best and they said it was their specialty for their specialty my filet mignon was very fatty! The service was slow and took for ever to get seated and we had reservations. It was just subpar that’s what I thought not bad not great just unmemorable. In vegas I feel like you need to be memorable.

Bearing Andre’s name, but assuredly Bulen’s kitchen as the young Chef reinvigorates the menu seasonally with new concepts joining Rochat’s classic French plates, it was with pleasant smiles that myself and a friend were greeted at the hostess stand and led through the bar to a table dressed in linen an a la carte experience was almost entirely self-selected, the welcoming glasses of bubbly soon followed by an amuse of Veal Broth perfumed in Black Truffles plus fresh baked Bread with Butter, my companion easily encouraged to indulge in the signature«Marti Foie» that was every bit as lovely as I’d remembered. Far less ridiculously priced than the imported French giants at Caesars’ or MGM, several items from the $ 10 «Small Plates» section actually a bargain when taking into account both quality and amount, those looking for something vegetarian are highly encouraged to consider peppery Caponata while omnivores may wish to experience garlic laced frog legs that slip straight from bone to palate, Christopher’s passion for housemade meats showing in supple white sausage or creamy pork spread, the former served along with ethereal puff pastry and one of three sausages made in house daily. Again offering a complimentary education in wine pairings, the prior visit actually leaving me a bit overwhelmed given a low tolerance, slow sips were taken of small pours including an outstanding 2011 Sauternes that arrived to announce two highly anticipated plates, the Classic French Onion Soup more classic and meaty than Mark Purdy’s at Alize but a bit lost in the mix when set next to seared Foie Gras plus a Terrine, the latter ‘au naturale’ with jam and toast for spreading while the warm steak saw the caramelized exterior give way to silken luxury, the combination of Rhubarb Streusel, melted Marshmallow and Balsamic faintly reminiscent of Peanut Butter and Jelly. Taking one classic, one favorite and a generous $ 9 side of Sweet Potato Spaetzle for the final round of savories it was admittedly a bit disappointing that the Dover Sole was presented under a silver dome rather than being fileted table-side, but with that quibble noted it certainly did not detract from the moist flesh and light sauce Amandine, the rosy Duck undoubtedly a more hearty plate with dark rice sopping up all the pan jus as encased liver and force meat used delicate spicing to impart levity in a truly rich sausage. Personally well sated as my dining partner questioned just how many bites he had left it was at the Chef’s suggestion that three ‘new-to-me’ cheeses were presented along with 20 Year Tawny Port, the Beltane offering creamy complexity well matched to the accoutrements while Camembert washed in Calvados was quite pungent unless appreciated bite for bite with pickled fruit or fig jam. Offering desserts from Tammy Alana, easily one of the most under-appreciated names working in pastry nationwide, there was little doubt after the Cadbury masterpiece of Easter 2014 that a Soufflé had to be ordered, the cloudy ‘carrot cake’ cleverly complimented with cream cheese Anglaise while four more sweets also joined the party, a poached pear not exactly my favorite when paired to chocolate while the Cheesecake bathed in fruit syrup ate several times lighter than any«New York» version, the Bourbon tinged Fondant expectedly rich as a trio of Raspberry Profitteroles crackled to the tooth atop Meyer Lemon Cream.

was nervous because I went with Groupon voucher, Food was great, service was even better. Free cocktail-not so good should just give you coffee or non alcoholic beverage instead but paid extra for martinis and they were excellent. Lovely night out!

For an understated place, Andre’s is surprisingly good. Granted, keep in mind that it is pricey but no more than any other fine dining establishment. Reservations were made at the last minute because hubby decided he wanted to eat at L’Atelier de Joel Robuchon– but they no reservations until the following week??? And as it was Saturday we decided to go out, of course most places were full. But we got into Andre’s. The only negative is getting in and out of the booths at this place, but other than that, the service was really good and the food just as good as the service. We honestly didn’t have one complaint. I started off with Pork Rillette Pâté(which hubby liked and shared with me), he had lobster bisque and I had their french onion soup. Then instead of a full entrée, I opted for the foie gras terrine while he had the scallops with side order of potato purée. We ordered the chocolate soufflé and that was different than other places and quite delectable. I’d be happy to try Andre’s again and order some other items next time. It’s a small restaurant but the ambiance is quite lovely. Try it out and enjoy some good French food.

Service was good, I can’t tell you how many times try checked our table for food allergies. It was also refreshingly quiet for a Vegas restaurant– so if you want a place for conversation where you don’t have to yell– this is a great spot. I give it 4 stars as I always consider location, price and quality in my reviews. The food was just fine and very fresh. There just wasn’t anything that particularly wowed me and If had to do it all over again, I had better meals while on my 5 day trip that I would chose over this. We had Escargot and Foie Gras for an appetizer(escargot was tasty). I had spinach salad(fine but very basic) and peppercorn steak(also fine — prepared well), and carrot cake soufflé(probably best part of meal — it’s rare to even find soufflé let alone so many choices).

This review is only for the cigar bar upstairs: but it is TERRIFIC! Such a nice, sophisticated, classy atmosphere. Great classic blues music playing at a reasonable volume. Very well ventilated, so the gentlemen can enjoy their cigars and the ladies can still breath comfortably. Nice whiskey and cognac selection. A top notch cocktail menu and a wonderful place to go for drinks and to escape the rest of Monte Carlo, which is not worthy of such a fine establishment. We will come here again and again.

They treat us so right here! Really hard to go wrong with good service, foie gras, steak and cigars. Next time I come here, I think I will order foie gras as my main. Yup, that is what I will do.

We came in here after reading the reviews. Very disappointing the bar tender was not the friendliest. In fact she made you feel like we were imposing on her. We come to Vegas a lot I will not be back. The food was good but when I go somewhere I a least like to be treated with respect!

Andre’s is a beautiful restaurant, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the casino, service is superb and the food is outstanding. lobster bisque — rich and creamy, sweet lobster taste with buttery lobster meat. shrimp scampi — delicous and different. duck 2 ways — duck was cooked perfectly. The meat melted in my mouth. chocolate soufflé — light, airy, rich chocolatey goodness. My favorite part of the meal. white chocolate raspberry soufflé — creamy and not overly sweet. tangy raspberry with the smooth white chocolate sauce, too die for. the souffles are their specialty, you order it before your meal, so it is perfectly timed. it is definitely worth just going for dessert.

Oh, Andre’s. How I love you and every single thing I have ever had with you. Quality of the cuisine and the service is always first rate. I love the lady who assists the main wait staff. She is so nice and welcoming. I wish you had a restaurant closer to San Diego. I hate our long distance relationship!

My partner in crime ordered the foie gras as the appetizer and for the entrees she ordered the bone-in ribeye and I ordered the imported dover and we shared a side of fries and mushrooms — I think I tasted the best ribeye ever, anywhere. Everything about this was amazing, the service, the food, the drinks, it was just amazing.

Oh my goodness. Came here on a Saturday evening and was surprised to see it was mostly deserted. We used a Travelzoo voucher that made the meal $ 99 for two 3-course dinners with drinks. I had the beef carpaccio which was good, but my date had the lobster bisque, which blew both of us away. I didn’t know I liked lobster until I tried it at Andre’s. We ordered the special: 2 Australian lobster tails(not part of deal) and it was seriously 100% the most delicious thing I have ever tasted. I still dream about that lobster. I’m afraid to try any other lobster now. My date and I both got the grilled flat iron steak, which was tasty but nothing special and a little heavy. My date got the chocolate soufflé for dessert, which he loved — for me personally it was too heavy but I prefer light desserts like custard and mousse — which is why I got the crème brûlée trio. Another winner here, probably the 3rd time in my life when I’ve had absolutely EXCELLENT crème brûlée. The trio is composed of traditional, coconut and pineapple, and while the variations were intriguing, I will always prefer the traditional kind. Unfortunately I cannot remember the cocktails we ordered but they were well-made(date is a former upscale bartender). Service was excellent! Waiter was on point and extremely attentive, our plates were removed and replaced within minutes of each other. This could change with patron volume, however.

What an awesome dining experience. I came across Andre’s by searching for top restaurants in Las Vegas. Andre’s was rated in the top ten, I believe at number one. I felt I had to see what all the praise was about. Let me tell you that I was not disappointed. I made reservations for Saturday but then our plans changed. Andre’s called to confirm reservations and was very accommodating in making the change to Sunday for dinner. We were promptly ushered in and seated in a beautiful booth fit for a king and queen. The entire dining space is well decorated and nicely kept. The attention of the staff(Laurie and George) was impeccable. They were attentive, patient in answering our questions and providing great service. We decided to take advantage of a TravelZoo dinner special for two. Our meals of spinach salad, lobster bisque, oven roasted salmon and roasted poussin(baby chicken) was absolutely delicious and served with perfection. Cleanliness: ***** Atmosphere: ***** Staff: ***** Ambiance: ***** I would definitely come back again to Andre’s.

Glorious! I had my birthday dinner here with a few of my closest friends. Entering from the casino into a quiet elegant room was magnificent. The service was superb. We tried the soup du jour which was a leek soup, lobster bisque. Both presented elegantly. Then on the the foie gras terrine and escargot. Both I found just ok. For our meals which we all devoured included the poussin, venison, petit filet with the added truffle, and cauliflower risotto. What an amazing place to celebrate a birthday. Amazing!

Beautiful. Romantic. Intimate. I could go on and on. Andre’s is an absolutely stunning restaurant in the Monte Carlo hotel. From the outside, it looks like a tiny corner restaurant but step in and it’s beautiful. The BF and I sat in a small private room. It was filled with chandeliers and romantic lighting. The service was wonderful. We used a coupon from travelzoo that entitled us to a three course meal with a house cocktail. We both ordered the same things and the food was delicious. We started with the lobster bisque. I was amazed by the size of the portions! The soup filled me up so much that I couldn’t finish any other course. It was prepared with three lobster balls and the bisque was served at the table. The taste of the bisque was absolute perfection. For our main course, we got the salmon. It was served with a flaky pastry with spinach. It reminded me of spanakopita. It also had three little shrimps with it. The salmon was cooked perfectly. It was very tender and moist. It was also topped with caviar. For dessert, we both ordered the chocolate soufflé cake. Our server came to our table and poured in the hot, melted chocolate into the center of the soufflé. Mmm. This would be a great restaurant for anyone celebrating or looking for a romantic and intimate meal with a loved one. It was truly a wonderful dining experience and I loved it!

My daughter, son-in-law, wife, and I ate here to celebrate my wife’s 50th birthday. The food is good as is the service and ambiance but I’ve had better food at several French restaurants in the Inland Empire at half the price. This place is horribly overpriced and I would not come here again. We were served a champagne cocktail(crème de cassis I think) when we arrived. I had lobster bisque which was good, and my entrée was plank steak which was overcooked and tough. The three-part crème brûlée was excellent. Watch out for the mandatory tip on the ‘full price of the meal’ even though you think you’re getting a deal. The required $ 56 tip on a $ 240 meal was excessive. There’s nothing wrong with this restaurant that halving the prices wouldn’t fix. OK — maybe drop them 30%.

Unfortunately, I was not impressed with my seven course veggie option. Husband has the meat courses and said scallops were horrible. My dessert and cheese was delicious. Just for the price I can’t give it more than 3 stars. Upstairs cigar room was elegant and had great ambiance. Good experience, bad on the bank account.

I enjoyed my dinner here last week while staying at the Monte Carlo. We walked over around 7pm on a Friday and were happy to find a seat wih zero wait time. The restaurant itself is beautiful. Vibrant blues and teals embellish the walls and chandeliers. The décor was just pretty to look at. The music was also wonderful. I thought the food was good, some parts being better than others. We started with a Cesar Salad sans croutons and were pleasantly surprised with how large this salad was. It was perfectly tossed with a delicious creamy cesar dressing and had a beautiful cheese flower for decoration. We each picked out a steak, myself choosing the flat iron with bernaise sauce and my boyfriend had the rib eye with a peppercorn sauce. We also shared a side of buttered broccolini. I will admit that the steaks were just ok, I felt for the price we paid perhaphs a better quality of meat could be warranted. Also both steaks were fully peppered but had practically zero salt. I had to request salt because there was none available on the table. Service was great, had a slight mix up with the Unilocal check in offer but we got it resolved quickly and my templeton rye neat arrived shortly after that along with a complimentary specialty cocktail. Overall a pleasant meal and a great start to our Vegas weekend.

Great little lounge in Monte Carlo. Not big at all but it is a perfect spot to escape the sounds and clowns of the casino. Took advantage of an opportunity to catch up with an old friend and enjoy a good smoke here. Service was top notch and you will notice it right from the start. There are no windows or any sort of view up there but it was cozy and the décor made up for the lack of exterior view. It’s not a 24⁄7 spot so make sure you check before going. On the price side, it was a bit pricy so expect to pay for the exclusivity. Other than that, it will be a good little break from the regular casino routine.

The food here is very good, but the hands down winner was their chocolate soufflé. I have had my fair share and this one was spectacular. I LOVED the espresso with it– such a thoughtful combination instead of(more) rich chocolate. I can’t wait to come back and try the other flavors. In terms of the food, we came the day before Valentine’s for a set dinner. I wasn’t too impressed with the oysters(the oyster pancake was a letdown) or the beef tartare(have had so many and this won’t be a memorable one down the road). But, I DID love the veal consommé(so interesting with the veal«flan») and the perfectly cooked duck breast. So for us, the meal got better with each dish. Service was exception(as expected). P. S. Located right next to the front entrance across Sambalatte.

Nice French restaurant inside the Monte Carlo with an upstairs cigar bar. Between me and 2 other chickas we ordered quite a bit: –Waldorf salad — was a bit of a disappointment because it was one like 3 pieces of butter lettuce, the salad dressing was a tad sweet and the walnuts weren’t so tasty even though they were candied –Almond crusted calamari — well I am a calamari lover but it didn’t taste much like the calamari rings I’m use to. I think it may have been the calamari tubes but it wasn’t chewy so that’s a plus –Our main course we ordered the PANROASTEDCHÂTEAUBRIAND which serves two but we were 3 girls with a whole bunch of side dishes so we decided to share it. It was a big portion with 6 pieces and it was delicious! Very tender and they gave us 3 types of steak sauce and I liked them all but my fav was the peppercorn sauce. It also came with a side of veggies; Brussels sprouts and spinach on the plate. Anyhow, it was very good but sadly enough the 3 of us couldn’t finish it and had 3 pieces left. I know we are terrible we wasted yummy food. What a sin! But when it sin city its expected! –Mashed potatoes, asparagus and French green beans were our sides and they were all made to perfection as far as side dishes go. Green beans were cooked enough to still have the slight crunch and similar to the asparagus. The girls loved the mashed potatoes as it was whipped up so nice and fluffy. All around a solid dinner. They have use additional amuse bosh(!spelling?) and chocolate truffles for desert since we didn’t order desert, we were stuffed from dinner and had so much left over! It was an excellent night and service from all of the Employees were on point– pulling our chairs out, opening doors, walking me to the elevator to go to the restroom, all in addition to their attentive service at the table. They went above and beyond, that was very nice– worth all the $$$$.
