My husband & I came here for a nice dinner while on our honeymoon… the service, food & drinks were phenomenal and the ambience was still slightly rock and roll but just up our alley! No complaints from our visit! They even gave us complimentary champagne! Will definitely be coming back!

Maybe I came too late in the day but the service was absolutely terrible. I came in around 9:30pm and ordered a seafood risotto and some wine after about 15 minutes of waiting for a waitress to show up. No one came to give me water or even check in. The person who took my order wasn’t even a waitress but one of the buss ladies who saw that I was waiting for a while. I was basically ignored the rest of the time. I decided to leave after 10:20 because no one had brought me anything. What a terrible experience, avoid this place at all costs!

Dinner with my wife. What a pleasant place for a date. Hannah and the manager of of this joint are incredibly hospitable individuals. They made our evening special The food is great too we had the crab n shrimp cocktail and the Chilean sea bass Both top quality — great job by the chef We will be back and if in Vegas try this spot it’s worth it

Went here for a business dinner. Overall it was a good experience. I got the 8oz Filet Oscar style medium rare and it was just that. Great cut of meat that was nicely red at the core. The seafood platter appetizer was average compared to others I’ve had in Vegas. I got the strawberry shortcake dessert which was delicious, but messy to eat with the crispy pastry. Room was pretty loud and hard to hear others at the table. Not ideal for a business meeting.

My family and I went to 35 Steak and Martinis to try their new fall menu and dinner was amazing! First they bring you warm, buttered, rosemary rolls. My little ones loved these. For appetizers my husband ordered the wedge salad and I had the tomato salad. Everything was so fresh and the portions were very generous. I also ordered a cheese plate and a small shellfish platter for the table. In the shellfish platter you get King crab, lobster, prawns, oysters and clams. You kind of get a show when they bring the shellfish platter to your table because of the dry ice For our entrée I had the scallops and my husband had the filet. We ordered the mushrooms and the macaroni and cheese for sides. I am hooked on the mushrooms. I ate the leftover mushrooms as my dinner the next day, that’s how good they are! For dessert we have their chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake. Both were delicious and everyone especially the kids loved them. Overall our dining experience was great. Service was just as amazing as the food we ate.

I’ve been blessed with a lot of foodie opportunities in the last 5 years, being a part of the food and beverage community/work force. I’ve been in great company, with great ambiance, and food that is more often than not, to die for. Steakhouses and seafood joints are my favorite to visit, and my favorite out of those, is 35 Steak and Martini. Let me start by saying that while the pricing is your standard fine dining, the experience and the food is not. A lot of the time when I go out to fine dining, everything is so fancy and so refined and just seems a little too«the portions are really small and have ingredients I’ve never heard of, and it’s expensive so it must be good.» I want to recognize at least one thing in a dish… or at the very least have heard of it before. Don’t get me wrong, I love trying new things, but it was extremely refreshing to familiarize with a lot of the appetizers… and I wanted to try it all!!! One day I might go in and just eat all of the appetizers and nothing else. The steaks are phenomenal. Always tender and juicy and cooked how I order it, and it’s usually more than I can finish, even a filet! I don’t know if you saw the photos of the desserts, but OMG. The chocolate peacock cake. No, it’s not made out of peacock, but the chocolate/sugar décor slightly resembled a peacock tail to me so I just keep referring to it as such lol. I could literally go on and on about the cozy booths, the killer bar, the amazing food, but really you just need to check it out for yourself.

We try a steakhouse every time we stay at a hotel in Vegas and no matter what we try we always come back to 35 Steaks & Martinis. The mushroom casserole is amazing and my filet is always perfect and all the steak sauces I’ve tried are divine. I also have yet to have a bad martini and I try a new flavor every time. My favorite is the Milky Way. Their steaks literally melt in your mouth and the staff goes above and beyond to make sure you have everything you need. And every time we are there the chef is sending out something special we didn’t order for us to try or sample.

The tomahawk steak was well cooked. Tasty and good accompanying sauce. very good quality meat with VERY little fat. added bonus: GREAT steak bone to take home for the dog! Mushrooms good. «Signature drink»(a japenero martini) was way subpar. Zero kick! Lesson learned: stick to the 50 – 60 $ premium steak menu of the many other quality vegas options. If u go higher, the returns r less than expected.

We stopped in for happy hour during a staycation at the Hard Rock, mostly because we had a free drink coupon and their bar bites menu looked intriguing. Two drinks, two apps, and $ 25 later, I was ready to hit the casino. The food wasn’t bad, but it didn’t deliver on the promise of its great ingredients. Two sliders — ahi poke and beef tartare — but they both were surprisingly bland. I had a glass of pinot noir, and my husband had the free drink: a Bombay gin martini. It’s sad that the free drink was the best thing we sampled, but it was. Two gents sitting beside us were dining off the full menu, with steaks and asparagus. Their meat seemed awfully overcooked, but maybe they ordered it that way.(Suckers, if that’s the case.) Our waitress was friendly and offered plenty of insider tips to our out-of-town neighbors. I wouldn’t call it a bust; it just wasn’t that memorable. At least not for happy hour…

I heard amazing things about 35 Steaks + Martinis and given that I was staying at the Hard Rock Hotel, I absolutely had to check it out. Like all Vegas restaurants, 35 Steak + Martinis has a classy albeit dated appearance and friendly servers. It’s a nice casual dinner spot for drinks and food with friends, but you can always get better in Vegas. I had the Prix Fixe Menu which was $ 55 for a 3 course meal which seemed like an amazing deal considering the price of their food. The meal began with their signature bread which was light and fluffy and seasoned with herbs and cheese. I actually really enjoyed the bread which was fragrant and hearty. The first course was a generous bowl of lobster bisque which was creamy and tasted strongly of seafood. There was a slight spicy kick, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the flavor actually and left most of it. The second course was the famed steak. This was really disappointing for me because with a name like 35 Steaks + Martinis you would think their steak would be their signature dish. The steak was nicely flavored but seriously overcooked. I requested a medium rare, and it came out more like a well done. It was super tough and plain hard to swallow. The last dish was the crème brûlée which was pretty good, but nothing to write home about. Overall I had a disappointing food experience here. The portions here were very generous but the quality of the food was nothing impressive or memorable. The steak too definitely was the hugest disappointment of the night. Overall, with such great restaurants in Vegas, I would definitely say to give this below average restaurant a miss.

Well nice place nice décor loud too noisy of course it’s the Hard Rock Hotel just when I mentioned the server do we have a Groupon he kinda pull the regular manu away from us ASAT different menu for the deal in a different tone of voice did not explain s*** just three main courses and blah blah blah blah I asked to start with the salad first NO you have to order everything at once!!! Okay no problem with that the salad took forever to arrive to the table we thought that everything is going to be arriving at the same time luckily they didn’t the worst course properly I asked for my fillet to be cooked rare but see the picture… Of course they never check on on us. I know what you say that Gruponn but with spending a hundred bucks for two people maybe no enough for that steakhouse dress code… I was told there was business casual but few people have beach attire sandals on t-shirts of course not mayor complains just the fact that they don’t give a s*** about people with Gruponn too busy to pretty boss at table too busy to answer a coupke questions… too busy to refill my waters. I do my own reservation to opentable On the cancel that one !!! By the way they didn’t nothing wrong just like a at Denny’s service. … We tip the 20% …we don’t know why… but just to let you know guys know… Ohhhh one more thing. … with a deal on the Gruponn I’m similar deals is all included for that price but the one in additional $ 8 Fonny kind taxes… Bottom line if you have money to burn go to the place if your local why you wanna experience different places avoid this one

This place won best steak in Vegas weekly recently. I went a couple of weeks ago with a buddy. It was phenomenal, start to finish. The seafood risotto had huge shrimp and scallop pieces, tender lobster and a sweet crab leg. The tomahawk ribeye was tender and cooked perfect. And the service was friendly, fun and just the right amount of attention. Vegas is known for great food, and this place does everything right. I feel like it wasn’t just a lucky one time deal because that doesn’t get you mentioned in magazines. Go try this place when you’re in town, totally worth it.

Nice restaurant and ambiance… except for the booming deep base playing above your head as you enjoy you $ 15/glass wine. It is supposed to stop at 6pm… we shall see…6:20, not as loud but still going on…7, that music is still rocking. At least the people are not in the pool right next to the restaurant. Lost one half of a star because of it. Glad that they finally closed the blinds. That helped too. Had the 4 course meal. Cesar salad was great with the lobster bisque soup. I really enjoyed the soup, there was a kick to the bisque so be prepared if you don’t like some spice. It was nice because the executive chef(Marty Lopez) came out and was meeting the patrons. He was friend and concerned about each person’s dining experience. A fresh shrimp and raw oysters platter was a refreshing addition to our appetizers. The main course was the fillet minion cooked to a perfect medium rare. The meat was seasoned perfectly and placed on a bed of mashed potatoes accompanied by fresh sautéed carrots, asparagus, and green beans. Delicious! The crème brûlée had 2 in-house-made cookies on top of the perfectly crisped topping of the crème. What a great way to end the meal! Servers are attentive and friendly. A truly wonderful experience. Thank you Chef Marty and your fantastic staff! All in all, a 4.5 star experience.

*** Review is for Restaurant Week 2015 menu *** I had a show at 7PM a few miles away and this seemed a good place for dinner with its 5PM opening. I was seated immediately and given a choice by the hostess as to which place I wanted to sit. I opted for a two top table along the wall with a view of some of the pool area and some of the main part of the restaurant. The beginning service was a little slow. It took awhile for the server to come to take my order and then there was a very long wait for the first course to come out – almost a half hour. In addition, I saw other tables get an amuse-bouche but none was brought to me. I assumed it wasn’t part of the RW service. Later, when I looked at my bill, the first item was an amuse-bouche listed at $ 0.00 as RW week menus generally do. Edit: I forgot when I wrote this to talk about the bread. After ordering, you’re brought a crock of bread topped with parmesan cheese and garlic. It’s a good sized piece of bread that’s been scored for cutting. It is not served with butter which is something they should do. The top is flavored nicely. The rest is bread that needs butter. I ordered the heirloom tomato and ciliegine with greens and finished off with some tomato juice. Not red tomato juice but the juice that comes from tomatoes when you cut them not crush them with pulp and skins. The fresh mozzarella was very good. This was a nice summer salad with refreshing ingredients. My main course was the petit filet. I ordered it blue. The server looked at me and I explained I wanted it extra, extra rare. He said, «In other words, 30 seconds on each side.» That was fine with me. That’s the way the steak was cooked. Just a little brown on the exterior and a cool interior that was almost raw. Perfect. The filet was served on potato purée and had an assortment of summer squash. There was no choice for the dessert course. It was what they call a dreamsicle white chocolate mousse with tangerine gelée and rosemary scented streusel. The mousse had a texture more like a light cheesecake than mousse but it was flavorful. The tangerine gelée added a dimension of flavor to the dish and the streusel crunchies were a good texture. It actually tasted like pieces of granola. Except for the initial wait for my order taking and for the salad, service was good. The couple of gentlemen that waited on my table were very friendly. We chatted about other restaurants in Las Vegas and compared thoughts about one of them. My iced tea was refilled without asking. After awhile, I stopped looking at my watch because I knew I would make my show on time. For a time, I was tapping my foot because I was uncertain about my time constraints. The restaurant is a very pleasant place and the view of the young people at the pool was more than a pleasant diversion. I’ll have to come back and try the place with the traditional menu. I am glad that they did something different with the Restaurant Week menu.

Probably 4.5 stars, but since that’s not an option… We stayed at HRH and had a check-in coupon for a free bottle of wine with dinner. Not being the type of people to turn down free wine, my wife and I decided to eat here. We both had filet(cooked perfect medium rare), split a Caesar(outstanding), the Asparagus(perfectly cooked), and split a baked potato(huge). Wine was just OK, but if you wanted something else instead, you could take $ 20 off your choice instead. But since we hadn’t had that one before, we tried it. Service was fantastic, and the myriad waiters/waitresses noticed whenever our wine/water glasses got down below half-full and fixed the problem for us. If I have one issue, it’s that the atmosphere was more open, bright, and casual than the average steakhouse(compared to The Steak House at Circus or Andiamo downtown, as examples). Sometimes, when I’m out for a nice dinner, I enjoy a little bit more of an intimate atmosphere, and don’t want to feel like I’m in a great big dining hall or wedding reception. But I’d definitely eat here again.

Got a Groupon here for a 4 course menu. 2 for $ 99. Pretty good deal. A $ 165 value. Definitely check out the martini menu. They were kidding when they boast about having 35+ martini concoctions!!! Under each martini name, there’s a description of what’s mixed in the drink. So whatever you’re craving for, I’m sure you’ll find it there. For our 4 course prixe fix menu, I started off with a cesar salad. My boyfriend chose a wedge salad. Next thing was the lobster bisque. This was alright. I’ve had better lobster bisque elsewhere.(Aquaknox still tops that list.) For our main course we ordered: John Dory: quinoa, cherry heirloom tomatoes, sauce Persillade, potato strings. 8 oz. filet mignon: summer vegetable bouquet, potato purée, onion confit, red wine essence. Dessert was a pretty big sized bowl of Crème brûlée, almonds, crisp caramel, berries. Nice looking restaurant. Ambiance was romantic with dimmed lights and soft, jazzy music playing. Service was a little spotty. They started great as they were very attentive to us. But towards the end… it felt like they gave up. Our take-out boxes took awhile to be brought to us, crème brûlée also took awhile as well as the check. It’s like they forgot about us or something… even though we sat in the center section of the restaurant. Not a fan of The Hard Rock Hotel simply because of the clientele. I’m not docking off my ratings because of this because it has nothing to do with the restaurant + the food quality itself, but it’s just an observation. If I ever do come back to The Hard Rock Hotel, it’ll be solely because of 35 Steaks + Martinis.

Hard to go wrong with a bone in ribeye, but mine was cooked and seasoned perfectly. One of the best I have had in Vegas. BUT… the truffle french fries cooked in duck fat stole the show. Our table ordered a second basket. I am going to make this a regular stop moving forward.

Dinner date at 35 Steaks a couple of nights ago, it was my first time there. The ambiance was nice, the place feels like a venue where one might brush elbows with celebs. It wasn’t über fancy or exceedingly intimidating, the service was excellent. In the bathroom, there’s a sign that says they don’t tolerate prostitution(yes, they spelled it out), or the use of drugs. We were each given a goat cheese amuse-bouche(complimentary bite-sized hors d’œuvre), various artisan bread, & herbed butter in a small ramekin, all complimentary. The bread was a bit chewy — most probably not because they were made that way, but because they were about 2 days old, according to hubby(who’s a chef). The herbed butter was good, until we found pu**c hair in it. Well, OK, it’s probably not fair to assume that it was pu**c hair. Really not sure where it came from, but as I stared at it, I couldn’t help but wonder why at any point during our supposedly nice dinner at this posh-ish steakhouse, we had to find ourselves wondering where this strand of hair came from. And why the lady at the next table had an inflatable unicorn head. Random. We didn’t notify the server about the pubed butter. I’m not sure we should have, but I tried to console myself with the thought that many restaurant patrons probably end up eating(careless or vindictive) restaurant workers’ hair every day. That didn’t turn out to be a very comforting thought. it was just weird & gross. Whatever. I guess when you go to a place with a $ 130 item on the menu, you do kind of have some expectations with regards to basic hygiene. We ordered a bunch of stuff, most of which(taste-wise), I would give a rating of maybe 3.75. The lobster risotto was a 4.75. Hubby’s scallop wasn’t properly prepared, & still had this ‘muscle’ on it, he said. The desserts(crème brûlée, chocolate torte, lemon cake), I would give a rating of maybe 4.25. They were good, but possibly a tad pricey.
