One requires some sort of roof over ones head when visiting a place from time to time. Nothing fancy but overall a good experience. Friendly and helpful staff. Only ding I would give the room is it had around 10 light switches and it was awkward. Additionally, it was hard to regulate the temperate of the room but I think that is quite common these days with companies trying to save money and maintain better margins. The location is great, especially if you have business at NMSU(totally walkable). Lastly, if you are going to be pet friendly I do not think it is necessarily fair to charge a «cleaning fee» but they usually get you coming or going so I put up with it.

Worthless. Spend the extra $ 10 and get a place that has wifi. Las cruces isn’t terrible, but a room that lacks cleanliness and even a sliver of wifi, is. also, they have smoking rooms and the smoking bedding interchanges with the nonsmoking bedding.

Thus far my stay here has been less than exceptional. Let’s start by saying the NMSU made a block reservation of rooms for a group of us here to work on a grant we were awarded. We had about 12 rooms. It’s labor day weekend, Sleep Inn gave away our rooms. Leaving a lot of people worried about what they are doing. We fought to get a few rooms. I get to my room, it’s not stellar, but I didn’t have high expectations. There is a condom on the ceiling, hanging from the fire suppression system. This is gross, but since the holiday weekend is upon us and NMSU paid for our rooms, I can either pay for somewhere more expensive out of pocket at last minute, or put of with this less than classy excuse for a place to sleep.

Overall its a clean place(besides finding someone’s sandal under bed). Stayed here for 2 nights. Great location off the freeway and close to reataurants. Nice to have the complimentary breakfast. Saves you time and money go eat breakfast somewhere.

The best thing about this place is that they allow pets. $ 25 for your stay– TOTAL. This is great if you have more than 1 pet and are staying for more than a day. The room was average, but wifi and breakfast are included in the price. Close to a major walking trail and NMSU.
