I was very disappointed, shouldn’t an Irish Pub have some Irish food? This place is out in no where and its not like we can cross the parking lot and eat somewhere else. It was mostly bar food and it filled the void. The pinini sandwich was not a good choice. Our server was more interested in visiting with her friend than taking care of her customers. So it’s safe to say I will not be back.

Possibly the best burger in town.

So far this place has kept is Irish pub atmosphere without degenerating into a lame sports bar, as so often happens. There are several great beers on tap and the salads are tasty. The fish and chips had a good batter but the fish was thin and gelatinous. When I asked about it’s origin the waitress proudly proclaimed«it’s cod.» Hmmm, well it is the desert I guess, but the fish should be better. Otherwise this is a great pub with great views.

My review is based strictly on the atmosphere and beer selection. I was warned by two friends, independently, that the food was poor and had made them ill. Needless to say, I respect both of them enough to heed their warning. That being said, the atmosphere is warm and inviting. The views of the organs are great from the patio or just inside the patio. The beer is great, with many«somewhat exotic» beers on tap, including Smithwicks.

Ok, here is another trip up the hill and another item on the menu reviewed. I thought I would try an basic item for an Irish Pub, The Corned Beef Sandwich. I am sorry to report that it was rather bland and not exciting. I still think this place has a great atomosphere, but I am inclinded to think from here on out that I will not go for the food.
