Hotel as of 6÷26÷2015 is supposedly under remodel, my room the shower head fell apart in, my keys stop working 15 minutes after check in and the Internet is so slow it’s like using dial up and that’s no joke. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfy, but this hotel is NOWHERECLOSETOWHAT I EXPECTFROMTHEHAMPTON when I stay at thier hotels, I think we will head to the new Holiday Inn on our next visit here, don’t get me wrong, the staff is super friendly, but in all honesty this hotel needs serious work. Even my room is missing pieces of the wall and floor trim.

Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I stayed at this location for one night in the past and thought it smelled rank, felt damp, and that public areas were not vacuumed and worse for wear. I decided to try it one more time because the price was the best in town. I got what I paid for. I felt that when I hit the sack on the first night that the sheets were old, and I did not feel the room was that clean and in very old, worn condition. I dealt with it. In the middle of the night my throat was ONFIRE! The dehumidifier in the room took out ALL humidity, and I was ether completely dehydrated or loaded with some mold in my mouth from the bad air. It was primeval. On the second day, I returned to work in my room for the afternoon. At the end of the day, my bathroom floor was covered in water, which was dripping from the toilet. I left for dinner and told the front desk. LOVELY girl! She had the manager go up and clean it up and had a new room for me when I returned, if I wanted it. When I returned, she said the manager had cleaned it, and I could check it out or change rooms. Upon entry(had to get new keys — annoying), the manger had placed a washcloth on the floor(Hmm, I wipe my face with those.) However he had not cleaned up the leak, and I slipped backward on it. I caught myself, but I couldn’t have imagined if I had back issues or was otherwise wobbly. The would have been sued and lost. I was done. The smelly hotel was even smellier at this point, the filth filter, and I called the Embassy Suites(where I am now in my suite with my clean room, flat screen, and spacious area). They hooked me up with a high floor room. Upon my check out, even the clerk agreed that she would not stay at this location.

I was very pleased with my most recent stay at the Hampton Inn. My family and I always stay here when we visit Laredo. Its location is really close to the city entrance, and it’s conveniently right off of IH35. Its been about 2 years since the last time I stayed here. It looks like they did some recent renovations, and it looks really nice! Our room was very clean, although Martha left her name tag by the TV, haha. It seemed like the also upgraded the comforter and sheets. Coupled with the shades drawn and the AC turned on high, I slept like a baby. It seems they also stop giving treats on the pillow like chips and cookies, but I was very pleased to get a courtesy call from the front desk to check and see if everything was to our liking. I would suggest checking a hotel booking site for better price instead of just calling them directly. My uncle was able to find the same room for $ 25 less.

Not too bad of a place I have stayed in worse, just needs a bit of an update and a handyman that has at least seen a couple of episodes of the DIY channel. Had to fix a few thing my self on the first day. Have 4 more to go. Not bad weeks stay! Location was great for easy access through the city! I would stay again!

If you’re on a high floor, you’ll have to wait a while for the hot water flow. Oh, and they DO have food to order in, despite what the Sunday night staff may tell you.

The Hotel was ok. The room was nice. The maid service is terrible. I had to ask at 4pm every day for them to clean my room. I wasn’t sure if they were going to clean my room if I didn’t ask.

Disgusting… Stay away, unless you like a questionable place… I travel a lot and this is by FAR the worse Hampton inn I’ve ever been in… What a disgrace! The staff was super nice but that doesn’t compensate for all the rest. If you read all the other reviews, focus on the bad and that would give you an accurate image of this place. I checked out in a hurry and went to a Springhill suite across the street. That was heaven.

No remote, shower head fell apart in my hand, breakfast was bland at best. Time for management to invest a little money back into the hotel. Staff was friendly, and hotel was clean. Just need to pay more attention to the details.

I lived here for six weeks when I transfered to Laredo about 8 years ago. It was ok, nothing special. I couldn’t figure why I never got a good nights sleep until I stayed up late watching a movie one night. Then I realized that the train came by twice a night with the horn blowing !!! Tough to get a good nights sleep.
