Indifferent, nonchalant, condescending. Not warm. Bedside manner is strained, although it seems like she’s kind of trying, but it doesn’t come out right. Wouldn’t recommend, will be looking for another doctor who I feel comfortable with.

When I initially met Dr. Levy, I was impressed by her wonderful bedside manner and thorough manner of reviewing my medical history. I was so happy that I had finally found an ob/gyn who listened and was sympathetic and warm, as well as being knowledgeable. Yet, the last time I saw her(about one year ago), her bedside manner was flippant and sarcastic. She was quite flippant in regards to my honest questions about my health and made me feel as if I was being neurotic. Last time I checked, it is not neurotic or psychotic to expect to be able to ask your doctor questions, even if they seem insignificant to the doctor, they mean so much more to the patient asking them… Also, I have had a few medical issues in the past year and each time that I have tried to make an appointment with her, she is not in the office and I have had to see one of her colleagues. This has happened on at least 3 different occasions. On one of those occasions, I had to have an in office procedure done(which was quite painful), but one of her colleagues did it. Neither the covering doctor nor Dr. Levy ever called me back to check in to see if I recovered ok. In addition, a few days later I had a complication as a result of the procedure, and they only let me speak to a nurse, who advised me to just wait and see, and if it continued to get worse in a week, to call back and make an appointment. When one is in pain or scared because of a medical issue, one wants to talk to THEIR doctor who knows all of their medical history. I feel as if I have been pushed around on many of the colleagues in the practice and have not ever had the same dr. twice. In conclusion, I will not go back to Dr. Levy’s office… strike 3 you are out. Seeking a new dr…
