TERRIBLECUSTOMERSERVICEANDEXTREMELYOVERPRICED!!! I called to order a pizza for delivery on 03÷29÷16 around 9:30 pm to have the pizza delivered, literally a block away. I was shocked by the 45 minute delivery time and the $ 25 price tag for a large pizza. The man I spoke to acted like he wanted nothing to do with my order and seemed irritated of my call for their business. I felt mistreated and will not be ordering at least from this location ever again. I called the guy back and told him to cancel my order and expect a bad customer service review on Unilocal. Here it is bud! So I decided to take my business elsewhere. I use to live in this area and love their Taco Pizza. I was craving the Taco Pizza on my way up from Cleveland where I live now. Bad customer service is a reflection on the management and owner. As a suggestion, go to MEATS. Great customer service and awesome food!!!

Delicious crust on canzone and pizza, good Greek salad. Saturday at noon they have a ukulele play-along which was not my expectation, but the lead singer had a great voice. Would go back.

In old town. On the river. Been a fan for years. On this last visit the food was not as good as usual, but normally they are very good. Love the pizza. I think they have other food but I’m not sure. Lol. Just kidding. They have other food that is good. Pizza rocks.

It’s nothing spectacular. The food is average at best. But it’s a great place to hangout, the air conditioning works great, and everyone is welcomed. A blind gentleman came in while I was there. The lady helped him to a table, took his order, and made sure he needed everything for his meal. Also, they have beer and a full bar.

First of all: I’ll start by pointing out that pizza, in general, is perhaps the most boring food in the western hemisphere. Pizza, in general, is essentially just flat bread with tomato sauce, cheap mozzarella, and greasy pork sausage. Pizza as is most commonly served already sucks(yet for some reason people rave about the stuff). And this is important for putting Sir Pizza’s Pizza in perspective. Sir Pizza’s pizza is essentially a giant Totino’s pizza. Yeah… you know Totino’s, they’re the culinary masterminds behind«Pizza Rolls». The two look the same… they taste the same… and for all intensive purposes if you find yourself craving a Sir Pizza pizza just save yourself $ 12 and just go buy a dozen Totino’s pizzas. …it’s really bad. That said it’s not just the poor quality of what is already a crappy dish: The restaurant offers no good beer options, It’s loud, the wait staff is trashy, the customer’s always have kid’s running around. It feels and tastes like eating in a high-school cafeteria. The whole operation smacks of incompetence: They have a great view of the river which is not utilized and the tables are laid out awkwardly. The ONLY redeeming feature is that they have live music, occasionally… I give it two stars because it didn’t give me food poisoning.

bartender had to ask how to make a simple martini. food was very over priced and very undercooked. cheese wasn’t even melted. the food quality was very very poor. we were so excited to dine there because of the location but we left very disappointed. the view was great though and I hear they have very fun events.

The pizza was definitely overpriced for the quality.

Nice people but pretty horrible pizza. You could do better by buying a Boboli from the grocery store yourself. I am pretty sure this is what they do anyway. Liquor/beer selection is also limited at best. This is one Old Town establishment to avoid unless nothing else is open, which sadly, is almost always the case.

Love everyone that works there. They are really wonderful, very service oriented — they understand the importance of the CUSTOMER. The space is beautiful. The pizza reminds me(in the nicest nostalgic way) of the kind they served in my high school cafeteria — no frills, basic tomato sauce and who wouldn’t like the diced pepperoni? Try it with some Merlot — they have a full bar!

This pizza is good, it might be the best thin crust pizza in Lansing. There is a great atmosphere here, but the pizza nothing spectacular, it’s solid though. There calzones are also pretty good.

the pizza(veggie) was okay. nothing to get too excited about, but the atmosphere was great and versatile(café…pizza place… bar…all in one!). they also had a great band on saturday, and the staff was very friendly and attentive. pizza, wine, and live music in a welcoming environment? count me in.

This is a fun spot for Karaōke on Friday nights. It starts at 7:30pm. There were actually a lot of good singers, I was fairly impressed. It seemed more like a bar atmosphere than a restaurant as the night got later. I thought it was weird some people had their young kids in there. When I was leaving around 10pm I saw a 10 year old boy on the dance floor with everyone else doing the Cha Cha Slide. That was a little too much for me. We ordered a veggie pizza that was fairly decent, but I thought $ 16 for a small pizza was a little extreme. The atmosphere is loft-like with exposed brick walls, a lot of windows and a nice large open space. There were chairs and tables and also some couches for people to lounge on. I think they need better ventilation in there because it smelled like burned grease in the air and it clung to my clothes. When I left I felt like I was 16 again getting off my shift at McD’s. Interesting crowd, some old town wanderers, families, old people, young people… a good mix over all.

This is more like it. I’ve had the Pizza at Sir Pizza on South Cedar, and it was the definition of nasty. On another Unilocaler’s recommendation, I tried the Old Town location. Much better, though I’ve still yet to find the great Pizza place I need in Lansing. The Pizza is greasy, but nothing you’ll gag on. The toppings are so-so, and the prices are fair. The breadsticks were really greasy too, but tasty. The fountain drinks tasted like menthol for some reason or another the night we went. Blech. The Old Town location has a beautiful interior, with plenty of space to eat and hang out. I’d suggest eating there rather than getting take out. Loved the location, wasn’t overwhelmingly impressed with the food.
