When I go into a restaurant and get mediocre food I usually just shove it down my throat and never go back. That would have been the case at this place but then I ran into the lady at the counter. The oldish lady with the skull t shirt looked like she would be an interesting person to talk to when I walked in. I was wrong, this lady is a bitch. Why would you be so mean to a random guy walking in to your restaurant? I suggest getting food at any other dinerish restaurant in the area, the food and service will be better.

This place is pretty average, The staff is freindly and helpful. but i had the italian sub, it was premade, sitting in the case… then microwaved and added toppings. The bun was mush by this point. It was just a step up from gas station premade sub. sorry. not a winner. I did not try the pizza.

The best lunch place in town! I live in Utah now and this is always my first lunch stop when I come back to MI! The ham pizza is amazing! The crust makes this pizza stand out! Cannot get pizza like this anywhere else. If you’re in the mood for something lighter they have a great chef salad also. Sad to be leaving this place behind when I get on the plane tomorrow. Been in Mi a week and ate here 3 times. By far my favorite pizza place.

Don’t bother with the sandwiches… unless you absolutely drool over cafeteria style food from Sysco and GFS. The pizza is awesome. Though it isn’t my favorite in town, it’s still really good… but only when it’s fresh. Even if it isn’t fresh, it’s still pretty yummy. Their breadsticks are amazing, and they have really tasty dessert goodies for sale. Also, if you’re a Vernors lover like me, this place scores extra points for having it on tap. :) Oh, and regardless of whether or not you’re thoroughly impressed with their pizza, it’s always worth it when they’re selling it for $ 0.99 a slice!

I hate being rushed to pick a lunch spot, it leads you to making poor choices in venue and even more poor choices in what you order. I am on par with fellow Unilocaler, Erich Z, on this place. In my 4 years in East Lansing as a student, I never went to this place and I seriously did NOT miss a thing. Erich describes it as high school cafeteria food and I could not agree more, wish I had thought of the comparison myself. It was clean enough and what not. The pizza looked ok… I should have just gotten that… trying to be healthy I got the veggie sub. It was loaded with processed american cheese and whatever other cheese was on it, olives and CANNED mushrooms came on it as well. As I mentioned, being in a HUGE hurry, I didn’t think to add lettuce, get some of that cheese off, get dressing etc. As I said I probably would have been better off with pizza… Prices are good and that’s about it… I will not be back ever. Actually, I think my high school cafeteria was better.

The Frandor Deli is not a deli. It’s the place you eat at when you work in the Frandor shopping center(which I do), and have no money(ditto). It’s more like a high school cafeteria. Actually, it’s just like a high school cafeteria.
