This is more Obituary than Review for the Shoppe, the words
i did not know she was sick, comes to mind, while Delarc is still here, how long?
Those Kitchen Gadgets: varying in size, Necessary, Whimsical, Must-​Have…
With What was i Thinking to Why couldn’t i find this sooner.
Many times an item barely out of a box, an intact Price Tag or two; Clear Wrap enclosed.
Goodwill was coming…
From: barely legible measurements due to a Pearl Divers’ Blistering Chores;
Volcanic Machine Washing or a bit more of the Elbow Grease.
Melmac Dinnerware, Copper Bowls, Brass Candle Holders, Crystal Shakers
Bronze Paper Weights, Spring Loaded to Digital Scales, Either by Turn of a Hand,
Plug-​In and Program, The Shoppe and The Store had all this and more.
Then stood Goodwill’s New Location.
Goodwill and Wallmart have one thing in common; when they arrive;
Mom’n’Pop’s, and the Unfranchised depart.
Delarc Thrift Store is holding on, Lansdowne Thrift Shoppe has gone away.
The Shoppe was always the better of the Two.
