Lansdale Meats and Deli

Love going here on the weekend. Great prices on their meats and produce. Their Mac and cheese is delicious and so is their potato salad and three bean salad.

This is my favorite local deli. Best prices in the area, Great hoagies (call in first) My favorite items are… the home made roast beef and chicken salad. We get our christmas pork roast cut here (a ham cut, uncured. Much better than a loin in my opinion.) Very good burgers (uncooked) both fresh or frozen.

I am so glad I walked in to this place. A friend recommended this place as their parents go there all the time. I mainly use the deli but they have a great selection of prepackaged meats from pork to fish to beef to chicken and even frozen vegetables. They have a good selection of fresh rolls and vegetables. The staff is always very kind and helpful.
If I ever need anything catered I will definitely consider Lansdale Deli.

Close by deli that has comparably prices on deki items. Excellent meat cuts from the butcher and a good selection on frozen items!

This place is great. Whenever I need a good steak at a great price, I don’t bother going anywhere else. They have almost any cut of meat you can think of and can even cut down a larger piece to the size you like. They also have fresh pre-​sliced bacon that you have have them slice to you preferred thickness and its amazing. Any time I have a BBQ or house party I know I’ll be stopping by to stock up.

Now this place is by no means fancy, but it is not trying to be. What it is trying to do is provide good meat, fresh food, and prepared meals at reasonable prices and it hits the nail on the head.
This is a great go to place for many reasons. You can find a perfect cut of meat for half the price of a grocery store, bulk chicken breasts, and prepared or frozen meals all of which are extremely reasonable. Everything is fresh and of good quality.
If you need a place to find some meals for the week, or cook up a fancy steak to impress someone this place has both!

Best price for deli meats ANYWHERE! Great prices and quality of other meats too.
It’s not a full service grocery store so don’t expect to find everything else on your list. But, you can still find everything you need to make a family dinner.

There is no other deli I would ever use. They offer a wide variety of meat selections at extremely low prices, as everyone else has said. Their store is clean and they have a friendly array of staff. I have been going here for 10 years and wouldn’t think of taking my business elsewhere. During that span, I lived 50 minutes away and would make the near two hour round trip just because they are that good.
Also, their sandwiches and party trays are second to non. You can’t beat a fresh made hoagie however you want it for $ 5. Chef Leon makes a phenomenal Penne Vodka and Chicken Marsala. They also have hoagie trays that they say feed 8… but I found it feeds 20 easily.
You can also pre-​order your meats by calling ahead. They’ll have your order together in an hour.

Great deals on lunchmeat and cheese since the grocery stores are trying to rob you now. Love having to wear a jacket to go in during the summer.

I would give this place a 4 star rating, but they bummed me out by not having an organic selection.
They have an amazing selection of meats which all looked very fresh, and different cuts for sale which are prepackaged, as well as an impressive deli counter selection. I saw lamb, chicken, pork, cow, as well as dairy products and a decent selection of staple veggies, all of which looked fresh. They have great prices on frozen veggies; I saw a big container of peas and carrots for like, $ 1.38 or something ridiculously low like that, and their dairy products are less expensive than Giant, too.
They also have two big pickle barrels, which I am such a sucker for, with little bags to put a. 89 cent pickle in just like old times :-) Reminded me of my childhood corner store!
If I didn’t live so far away, I might just do my shopping for the week here.
The only, only LITTLE thing I didn’t like about this place was that that I didn’t see any organic meat. We try to eat organic at our house when possible, and while we are not religious about it, I will choose organic over conventional 100% of the time just because I think it tastes better. But, I know that organic is still a niche market, and Lansdale Meats is still totally a winner.
I saw another poster write about lack of cleanliness, but I didn’t notice that it was that dirty so, there’s that.

I got my Christmas standing rib roast from Lansdale Meat this year, and I was very happy with the price and the quality. I got a 5-​bone rib roast, and it came out to under $ 80. I have paid that for a two bone roast, bordering on a large steak, from Whole Foods, so it was nice to be able to save a little money on the roast and apply it to other courses for Christmas.
The roast came out looking beautiful, and everyone really enjoyed it. As a bonus, they threw in a free dozen eggs with (as I think is a kind of regular special they run if you spend some minimum amount of money).
I don’t live in the area, but I plan to come back next year to get a rib roast again.

Lansdale meats is VERY good for meat selections and deli meats. For my family of 5 it’s so worth it! I can save a ton of money, much less then typical grocery stores.
I always buy their bulk boneless skinless chicken breasts, bring them home and trim them up, wrap them & throw them in the freezer. Two chicken breasts feeds my whole family… they are humongous! If you don’t want to trim your chicken down they do offer trimmed more butchered chicken as well.
I buy their bulk ground sirloin, also very good. Their slab bacon is awesome, ask for it cut thin though! Their pork has always been very good. The steaks are awesome too.
The deli counter can be a bit crazy! I also HATE! How the employees sit back and gab about crap I don’t need to know about. going on in their personal life. However that being said, you can save a significant amount of money. Good example. Pastrami… my husband loves pastrami. $ 4.99/lb. lansdale meats, $ 11.96/lb. giant in hatfield. Hello!!!
This place is NOT fancy, it’s a freaking butcher shop, it shouldn’t be fancy. It’s always freezing in there… it’s a butcher shop. Don’t buy your produce there, cause its a butcher shop. Buy your meats and deli meats there… cause its a butcher shop.

Don’t even waste your time going into Lansdale Meats. It’s freezing in there all year round, and even though it’s a deli, it doesn’t need to be sub-​zero temperatures. The place is never very clean and the selection isn’t always great. I just always feel gross in there because it’s sort of dirty. I’ve seen bags of random pieces of chicken leaking on the checkout counters. Not a fan at all. I’ll stick to Acme, thanks.

I absolutely LOVE this place. I get sandwiches and salads made to order there, and not only are they huge, stuffed with fresh fixins, they are super cheap! The best part is that they remember you! super awesome, five stars each time. :)

This is a top-​notch butcher and deli; the prices are cheaper than the grocery store, especially the deli meats. Don’t bother with the produce, as there’s not much selection, and there isn’t really any dairy. But for meat and salads – potato salad, macaroni salad, etc. – this is the place to go in Lansdale.

Awesome place for sandwiches. Need to see the chef in the back to place the sandwich order, but worth it. Try the roast beef, it is awesome

The meats are cheap and fresh, the deli has a lot of home-​made options like roasted turkey for example –It’s like a thanksgiving bird in deli form. SO good!!!
Produce leaves a little to be desired… not much selection but it IS in fact a deli so its nice that they even have the option of a few peppers and onions.
Great freezer/​chill chest selection: From cow to pig to chicken to sheep its got it all! The quality is very nice along with the wonderful price –cheaper and better than grocery stores.
Go for the amazing tasting, fresh, and extensive array of lunch meat… stay for the steaks/​pork chops/​leg of lamb/​chicken nuggets/​ect… ect…ect…

This grocery store/​farmers market is a great place to get deli foods as well meat for dinner! They offer great low prices & short lines usually. Cute little mom & pop store with great deals. Definitely check it out for dinner one night you will be totally surprised!
