We had a fabulous stay at Brewster’s Red Hotel. We appreciated the clean accommodations, coffee in the morning, bike storage, and conversation with the owners. Loved relaxing in the lawn chairs in the afternoon. We will definitely stay here when are back in Lanesboro!

Studio apt was perfect for us. Clean, comfortable & across from an outdoor restaurant with a patio bar. It was fun to listen to music & walk across the street. There’s a tv, kitchen, wifi & full bath. The grounds are pleasant & tidy. It was a good compromise between staying at B&B & chain hotel in Rochester. The owner was very helpful & friendly. Loved this town/bike trail. This is what Vermont dreams of becoming.

We stayed mid-week for my birthday. The photos on-line don’t do it justice. I felt like we were on a mini-resort. The grounds are large for being in town and there were plenty of places to sit and enjoy them. The owners provide bean bag toss, a fire pit with wood to purchase and a nice size patio. Our room shared a cute porch with another room. It was a good size with a wonderfully soft, inviting bed. They provide a locked room for bikes and have coffee and bagels in the morning. We liked the location. Being in town, we could walk every where. The owners are super friendly. i highly recommend this cozy hotel in the heart of bluff country to everyone.

We had a two-day«mini-vacation» in Lanesboro and stayed at Brewster’s Red Hotel. It was clean and comfortable and we’ll stay there again. I’d read some reviews elsewhere that weren’t particularly complimentary. I have to wonder about what those were expecting. We arrived about 7:30 on a Sunday night. While there was no one in the office, there was a directory showing who was assigned to which room and the room key was in the door. The room was large and more than adequate; the bed soft and welcoming. Nice large bathroom. If you’re expecting a Hilton(or even a Holiday Inn) replete with staff, etc you might be disappointed. But if you’re looking for a friendly place(the owner was out and about early in the AM with coffee) and intend to spend most of your time biking, looking around, etc this place meets the bill perfectly.
