The Wearhouse Consignment

As both a buyer and seller this place is hit or miss with me.
Sometimes I’ll go and find a nice piece or two, neatly organized racks, or take a basket of items to consign and almost everything will be accepted.
Other times I’ll go to shop and find filled to the rim racks, dated clothing, and piles around the register area to be gone thru. I’ve also taken nice higher end clothing — some still available for sale at the Bön Ton — to be told they can’t accept it because it’s dated.
I think the experience depends on who is working.
On the plus side I do like that they offer the option to buy straight out or consign and usually you don’t need an appointment.
On the downside I think they are a bit pricey, but this is coming from a preferred thrift store shopper so I am alittle biased.
Worth a visit if you live or are in the area.

Love, love, love this consignment shop! I sell my clothing and accessories here as well as purchase new items to replace what I’m selling. I think the pricing is fair and I find the staff to be a pleasure to work with. I like the option of being able to walk out with cash on-​the-​spot for my items or consigning them and walking out with even more cash after they sell.

Tried to sell my handbags and purses to this establishment. They didn’t even give me a reason on why they did not want them. Extremely rude. Your hours are falsely advertised on your website. Never coming back. No wonder none writes reviews.

Great merchandise – it’s packed with apparel in a huge variety of sizes and brands. I always walk out buying at least two or three things! Their prices are somewhat high for consignment shops, but all their brands are «higher mall brand» or designer quality. There are also often coupons in Clipper Magazines, so there are ways to save a few bucks here.
Their consignment policies are fair, if not magnificent. They do a great cash right away for consigning, so you don’t have to wait to see if your products sell.
