I am on the fence between 2 –3 stars. I think the atmosphere is alright but I feel it falls flat after that. I went last Saturday and got nachos which wouldnt have been bad if they weren’t over baked, I wasn’t going to send them back(who knows what the outcome would have been). Fast forward a week later, decided to give it another chance. I brought my wife in with me and for starters we tried the crab dip which wasn’t bad but the pitas were tasteless which it made it average. I ordered a burger which was decent and my wife got a quesadilla which she didn’t like. I had asked the waitress about the soup of the day which she said its canned clam chowder. She did say that most of the food was canned, not very appealing from a customers perspective, and the famous strombolis were premade, no custom stromboli here. I would have rather spent $ 44 elsewhere.

Oh, YP — after about 40 yrs it saddens me that it’s time to break up. I imagine you’d like to know why. Well, for starters, I still like your Boli’s but they keep getting smaller while the price climbs higher & higher. I was a fan of your pizza but the last one had too much dough as compared to the sauce & toppings. Not good. Wings? Not like they used to be. You keep changing the menu & you drop some great stuff. Lastly, your employees at the Lancaster location leave a lot to be desired. Our server on Sat. night was clueless & screwed up our order in a couple ways. There are 2 guys there(mgrs.) who are very good. Or maybe they left for greener pastures. Wish I knew their names. Your female mgr is just unpleasant. She makes me feel like she’s doing me a favor when I come there. There are so many very nice, pleasant people in Lancaster County. Why haven’t you hired any of them? I no longer wonder why your locations are closing one by one. It just makes me sad.

Great place to chill. Any place that serves Guinness is good with me. Music is diverse and they have Hot bartenders!

To make things clear I am asian American and am an Iraq war veteran. Wings were pretty good but every time I came in for pick up I had to wait at the bar. Walking into the bar area was like taking the wrong turn. Everyone stares at you if you’re not white. First I thought it was just me being paranoid but then when I took my friends with me they said the same thing. I refuse to go back until they open up the side entrance for take out.

Never got seated after standing at hostess stand for 10 minutes-or even acknowledged that we were there! Really wanted a Stromboli!

I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the most appalling, and grotesque things I have EVER seen at a restaurant. Highly illegal, and 100% against health dept standards. I own a restaurant… So I kind of need to know this stuff. My wife and I pulled into the parking lot to witness the store manager dumping 5 gallon buckets of sludge down the storm drains! WHAT? It was all sitting ontop of the drain, bugs everywhere. Looked like Shrek puked up his stomach lining and all! So I called and asked to speak to the manager, and I proceeded to tell him what I just saw an employee doing… He was like, «that was me haha»! WHAT? He said they were cleaning out the dish machine(I can only imagine how clean that is!) and this was the crap from that. «It’s how I was trained» «what do you expect us to do with it?» Seriously? How about clean a little more frequently and do what is legal and sanitary… Put it in the trash! This entire chain suffered from poor management. You can see this in the decline of their establishments. A shame because I grew up with this restaurant in my neighborhood and loved their Stromboli. If they would invest a little in their buildings with a facelift, and thorough cleaning, and some good employee training they would be over the top successful.

Failure at every level Went to YP this past Friday night — in town for a concert and we’re staying at the adjacent sister hotel. Saw the menu when we checked in, looked good and appeared that it would be a quick and easy bite before we went out. Should have read the reviews. Let me list the list of failures from the time we made the mistake of walking through the door. Upon coming in we waited over 5 minutes to be seated — available tables, staff walking around, just being ignored. Seated, 10 minute wait to get menus, 10 minute wait to have order taken. Now there is a 30 minute wait to have our food served & one of the entrees ordered by our party of 4 is missing — Buffalo Chicken quesadilla. Waitress apologies, says it will be right out. 15 minutes later the entrée arrives. Every item that we were served was of poor quality with items listed on the menu missing from the plate. Didn’t even mention, just wanted to get out by that point in time. Finally got check after going to look for a staff member and request it, contained 2 overcharge errors. Late to our event after this fiasco. It appears to me from the reviews that the locals give this place strong reviews but that anyone who is not a local calls this place out as the 3rd rate establishment that it is. AVOIDATALLCOSTS Wish we knew that there was a 5 Guys just down the road before we went in.

I’ve been in Lancaster since July. Gone to about 15 bars in the area, and this one is by far the worst. We ordered beer, which came out room temperature. Then we got the buffalo chicken quesadilla, which had about 30 peppers and a sliver of chicken. I got the cheesesteak, and in all honesty I believe they used the beef flavor of fancy feast and melted velveeta cheese on top. Please, don’t be stupid enough to go here, you’re better off giving ur money to a homeless person, they deserve it more.

The last Your Place in the Lancaster County is still home of the most classic Stromboli around. With that said, this bar is long overdue for some re-organization. Management & staff are friendly to regulars, that much is clear, but if you’re not a regular, don’t expect much. Food is average at best, save for the Boli. Bar specials are always good, that’s a big plus in my book. Personally, I’d like to see some more craft beer selections. This place has potential to be cool, but new ownership/management is needed to make that happen.

Bad, bad experience here. Could not get the bartender(s) attention to order a drink and dinner even though there were only a handful of people in the bar. They would not make eye contact with customers. Once I was able to do so, the food took 30 minutes to arrive and consisted of luke warm, reheated crab dip(which was clearly not freshly made) and a luke warm stromboli with a variety of things in it which do not normally exist in stromboli(mustard?). I took one bite to eat, finished my wine and began the 10 minute-long process to wave down the bartender. It took me, and two drunk retirees to get the bartender to come over. The atmosphere is very divey and there is sticky residue on a various machines and counters. The place needs a wipe down. I promptly paid my check, then left and went elsewhere. Avoid this place!

Disgusting. If you like this place you have no idea what good food is. The onion soup was cold with no flavor. The salad was watery and the lettuce was bad. The staff inattentive and very novice. The chicken wings were nothing special. I did see many large parties with children. Probably is an economical choice, as it is cheap and does have a all you can eat pizza and salad bar. Certainly a place of volume and no quality. Avoid at all costs. Dirty and dingy.

My mom n I meet my two cousins and my aunt for dinner for my birthday. Great service and good food. I had a meatball sub which was good. The bread was«Philly style.» The waitress was very attentive and earned a good tip. It was so much better then going to Texas Roadhouse or those chain restaurants that are all the same. :)

Your Place is in a lot by itself on US-30 westbound just before the Lancaster bypass. It should be noted that I went to this restaurant in the context of a group event. It took a long time to place our orders and get the food because the restaurant didn’t have enough people even though the event organizer warned them weeks in advance about the size of our group. That issue aside, I thought the crab cake sandwich I ordered was pretty good. If I ever go again by myself, I’ll update this review to let you know if service is any faster when they are not up to their eyeballs in orders.

Your Place came through for a party of 15 at about 11pm on a Saturday night. We were hungry and yearning for a place where we could both have a few drinks and also meet a wide variety of dining needs – vegetarian, meat-lover, heavy food, light food, etc. There’s a bar in the front and a restaurant in the back. We were the only ones in the restaurant. Yet the server, who most likely did not expect a boisterous crowd at that time of night, was on the ball and succeeded by trying hard. The portions, predictably, are huge by Midwestern standards. The bar has good drink specials, but for some reason they don’t have Maker’s Mark, which made me sad. Your Place is a great place to go to avoid the Applebees and other chains that plague this tourist strip.
