Popeyes Chicken & Biscuits

I will never go back to this location again she stupid girl didn’t get my order right. I ordered spicy dark meat I get mild white meat and a coke to make it a combo she didn’t order my coke. Never any apple pies made always have to wait. no Mac and cheese. the palmdale location has never had this problem.

So far Popeyes chicken is probably the best fried chicken in town, actually in the state. Like KFC, it seems that the flavor has changed or maybe it’s me. It has good days and bad. On this visit, I can say it was ok. The chicken was well cooked and with a slight spicy taste. I’ll have to try it again next time or visit another location.

Oh my gosh the gave me frozen fries like hard as a rock fries I tried to call but no answer they did nothing about it how do you give someone frozen fries that is ridiculous

Not a fan of anything they have here EXCEPT their chicken! It’s always fresh and hot when I order. Everything else is blah.

Clean, friendly, food was what you pay for but its better than most other fast food places.

Restaurant is clean tonight. The service seems slow and lazy but it is Saturday and the young people working here are just clock punchers so since im sure they dont own this franchise, they probably could care less. My 3 pc is fresh and hot and my sides dont taste like they’ve sitting all day. So tonight im ok with my order.

Why isn’t there an adult supervisor in the evening. Tonight, I had my 30min school break and decided to get some chicken. Now mind you, I go to UoP MAYBE half a mile up the street. Class is let out at 7:39. I ordered a shrimp po boy and 2 apple pies. The young man, Martin, seemed to be fairly new taking my order. He’s nice enough and I’m patient. I ask for my shrimp po boy and he had to make sure there was shrimp… the little drawer was full of shrimp. Great! He checks to see if there are 2 pies… there’s only one so he asks the guy in back to makes another apple pie. I’m waiting for about 5 minutes, go to the restroom, then continue to wait. No one’s in the dining room except a guy that ordered after me. It’s been about 15min and I look to see what they’re doing. It’s at this point I see Martin putting the bread for my sandwich in the toaster! A couple minutes later, I’m watching one of the girls putting pies in the fryer rack. At this point, it’s 7:54, Martin puts my sandwich on the counter and I ask how long for the pies. Janail says 8 mins. I tell her and Martin I don’t have time to wait. She offers a side dish and I accepted. She then takes a drive thru order, Martin told her he’d get it for me but she told him she’d do it. She’s taking forever and Martin is standing less than 5 ft from her and speaks into his drive thru headset to her and says «she’s waiting» but that didn’t speed her up… it slowed her down!!! poor customer service drives me crazy! Go ahead and start closing this place up too. Clearly no one working was over the age of 20 and could care less. I’m done with this Popeyes!
Oh and my po boy was chicken!

Late night service is terrible. Girls that were on shift were playing and sitting around. The girl who took our order was totally uninterested in doing her job. She got it wrong twice and we had to correct it at the window. Then they sent us out from to wait 15 minutes for our food… not impressed with the late night service.

I’ve eaten here a few times and each time was worse. Last night I ate at this location for the last time. I had a simple order of a 2 piece fried chicken platter. The drink had soda spilled down the side. When I ordered, they were out of Cajun rice. I got cole slaw and red beans and rice. When I received my order, one of my sides were missing. I sat in the drive-​thru trying to get their attention for several minutes to let them know that my order was wrong. They finally came back to the window when another car pulled up. She took my whole bag back and spent several minutes «fixing» the order. I made the mistake of not checking to see if it was right the second time. Instead of cole slaw, I was given a bowl with rice and a few beans. The other side was the red beans and rice I ordered, but like my drink, the container had food spilled down the sides. Also, the biscuit was old and inedible. I will make the extra trip to the Popeyes in Palmdale that doesn’t have these issues when I have to have my Popeyes.

I cannot even rate this place. Worst service they are definitely not customer friendly. Called them because they messed up on our order after waiting for about 20 minutes later. Receipt does not have their store phone number and had Javier on receipt. When ordering through drive through window a girl served us. When we called the store and requested to speak to the manager the man who responded stated his name was Javier. He stated all the could do was provide us with the food purchased that was provided to us. He stated he cannot provide any freebies. How about getting the order right the first time so we font have to waste our gas driving back there! We will not be returning there! They can keep our money! This place needs to be investigated!

Came in for the first time. I love Popeye’s and this is the closest to where I work now. Had my usual — 3 dark spicy chix with Cajun rice. Everything tasted as expected except for my Cajun rice. It was dry. Not terrible but very dry. The place is clean; the bathroom is clean. Sheila helped me at the register and she was nice, personable. She also checked my ID for using my CC. There’s plenty of parking around the shopping strip. I will be coming back to this Popeye’s.

This place has its good days and bad days. Tuesdays they have a special. This is the only day I go so im basing my review on their busiest day of the week I bet. Before, I would go pick up popeyes at around 330 after my kids got out of school since it would save me a trip of driving back and forth… Dont make that mistake. the line is so freaking long because other families go at that time too! I never really go inside popeyes anymore because it was a little sketchy every time. So now I take my ass to the drive through and endure the long line and long wait.
I tried to beat the lines by going around the time they open, but stupid me… Im assuming they give you the leftover chicken that was made the day before because it was cold and tasted old. so NO THANKS.
Now, I go a little before noon to avoid the line and to also avoid their «leftover» chicken. I rated this with 3 stars because I still like popeyes but this area isnt ideal. Some staff are nice… some dont care. Lol. I dont care either, just as long as I get my food.

Visited on a Sat afternoon. the place was clean, and the service quick. Most definitely better than old reviews. Not the best neighborhood. Standard Popeyes chicken, which is still the best fried chicken IMHO. Only fly in the ointment was a small human hair in the mashed potatoes. They promptly replaced the potatoes, but still not exactly appetizing. This brought the review down from four stars to two stars.

So I wasn’t going to go to this Popeyes because of the reviews but the other location was about a16 min drive so I decided to stop anyways ! The service was great the staff was friendly the services was pretty fast ! The food was great and hot ! But they did not have any shrimp ! The place is really nice and the bathrooms were clean ! Maybe they read the reviews and made changes or I got lucky !

Worst customer service. Needs a new staff. Took 30min to cook chicken, they also refused to heat up pie and said to come back tomorrow if we wanted some. There’s not even a number to call on the receipt about the horrible customer service.

SLOW!!! Omg please don’t go on Tuesdays they have a special or something and then it’s CROWDED AND SLOW… and the food is never really hot

I think the one star is to high for this place but since that’s the lowest we’re going to go with that. The service here is rude and they don’t care about the customers. i went thru the drive thru and ordered to of their strip combos and they didn’t have enough strips, so they asked me to choose something else or wait 6 minutes and when I decided to wait the 6 minutes the girl taking my order got upset??? so when I pull up to the window they take my money and ask me to pull up to the front which I happily do and I was waiting in front of that location for 20 minutes and no one brought my food so I call and ask what’s going on with my food and they have no idea that I even ordered food wtf .now I’m mad and I explain to them how long I’ve been waiting for and all they said was bring your receipt in and we will refund your order !!! Wtf ! They didn’t even apologize or say hey let me get that to you but instead they wanted proof of my order and didn’t offer me food or a simple we’re sorry, so I told them I would go thru the drive thru again since I sprained my ankle and could barely walk .i pull up and the same girl that took my order helps me and says oh I totally forgot, so would you like your food or a refund I was like my food .so within a minute they give me my food and while giving me my food she reminds me that I was the one that agreed to wait and I’m looking at her like are you stupid !, there’s a huge difference in 6minutes and 20 minutes not to mention that by the time I ordered the food and paid we used 3minutes of that 6 so i should of only waited for 3 minutes.
Then as if the wait wasn, t enough when I got home the food that they gave me was cold not even warm but cold and missing a few biscuits .I wanted to call and complain but I don’t think they care so I’m taking my money else where.

All I am going to say about this place is do not go there. Crappy ass service, 35 mins for me to get my damn food. I don’t even waste another key stroke on this crappy place and customer service.

Well I had never been there & after seeing the delicious commercials with the savory food, I decided to give it a try for my family & myself (had a flood in our house & STILL after 8 months do not have the repairs done — so have not been able to cook BOO!) Anywhooooo… the pictures on the menu looked fantastic — however, when you get your food the portions are the perfect size for a 5 or 6 year old. The establishment was messy, barely anyone spoke English so there was a serious communication issue & the order was gotten wrong 3 times… The ONLY good thing… those darn biscuits… THEY were fantastic!

This place sucks, it’s chicken is dried out, it’s customer service is crappy. I have always licked Popeye’s chicken but this location is horrible.
