We made reservations here to get a pet friendly room. When we pulled in the parking lot, there were people that looked like they were homeless(maybe living at the hotel) that made my wife feel uncomfortable. The doors being open to the outside was also a negative. The first room we checked into was a smoking room and the odor was unbearable. The guy at the front desk was very nice and switched us to a non-smoking room. This room smelled like the industrial carpet freshener used when people vomit on it. The bed and amenities where ok, but the bathroom shower had black mold in areas. My thumb felt greasy after I touched the rug while feeding my dog. I felt bad leaving her there while we went into town to take care of business. We decided not to stay when we returned. I didn’t care about losing our our money. We checked out and went to DE to sleep at my brothers house. We will not return to this hotel.

so I cant tell if this is suppose to be for red roof inn or not. I had reservations for here but then it turns out they had a leaking issue so they sent us to travelodge instead. The place was alright, they free wifi and a fridge for your own use. Basic shower and such. Everything was clean.

WARNING: DONOTSTAYHERE!!! The room was filthy, hairs all over the bathroom, very low water pressure, stains all over the un-vaccumed carpet, duct tape all over the front door and a VERY strong musky/mildew smell. The windows wouldn’t open for me to ventilate :(The next day I tried to talk to the manager and tell him about how upset I was from my stay and he immediately reacted in a RUDEANDUNPROFESSIONAL way, never apologizing ONCE for my terrible experience. He must be delusional if he thinks his hotel is fit for operation– there’s NOWAY they would pass a health inspection!!! I have stayed in literally almost every hotel and motel in the Lancaster area(since I travel there so often for business) — I would recommend the Days Inn off of Lititz Pike for a MUCHBETTEREXPERIENCE and similar price.

We got to lancaster and by the time we needed a place to sleep for the night it was 1030 and we started calling everywhere in the area and for some reason every place was booked except for a really sketched out place so we were about to kick it in our rental car for the night when we randomly called this place and got it for 65 $ the room was very clean and they have waffles and coffee in the morning

Clean, cheap. The tv was newer. I would stay here again. The wifi didn’t seem to work.

I got a good price on for this hotel, I was only staying a few nights, the only down was that I didn’t have a choice as to getting a non smoking vs smoking room, I’m not a smoker, and got a smoking room, I tried getting it changed but the young lady at the front desk told me she couldn’t(I don’t know why perhaps I should have pushed it further) I took spray and kept spraying all weekend, it was ok overall except my stuff still smells of cigarette smoke, LOL… Breakfast consisted of coffee, cereal, bagels, bread and muffins, it was ok, but I prefered the Dunkin Donuts down the street. I give it a plus for location, cleanliness, a nice pool, plenty of parking. WiFi worked great however my laptop didn’t but that’s not the hotels fault, LOL. The hotel has seen better days that’s for sure, it hasn’t seen a makeover in a long time but the rooms did have a microwave, a nice sized fridge, and flat screen TV’s, it was clean, and cleaned daily, plenty of towels, vending machines and an ice machine. One thing, dang, those walls are thin, let’s just say, I was woken up from a deep sleep by the ‘earthquake’ in the room next to mine! Goodness, I felt like I was eavesdropping and sitting in the room with that extremely ‘passionate’ couple! Despite a bit of lost sleep that night, my stay was pretty pleasant at the Travelodge loved having that pool to myself for a little bit on Saturday!

I did not have high expectations for my stay here… I mean, it’s a Travelodge. But the place pleasantly surprised me. The staff was very friendly, and the room was clean and didn’t smell. Every morning I’d see someone sweeping the parking lot, keeping it very tidy. The cleaning people did want to clean the rooms at odd times early in the morning, so we were always in the room sleeping when they’d stop by. As a result they never managed to come in to clean, since we’d never leave the room before 10 am. But they did give us extra towels and anything else we needed. The continental breakfast they offer is small, but fresh. The bagel was surprisingly good, as were the blueberry muffins. I do have to knock off a star because the bathroom was disappointing. It was FREEZING all the time(seriously, it felt like the tiles were placed just above an ice skating rink), and the shower’s water temperature didn’t go past lukewarm(which was surprising since the sink had very hot water). I could deal with that if it had been warmer outside, but it was quite cold and I stood in that shower shivering the whole time. If it had better water pressure I could’ve gotten out faster.
