I give the bagels a 5 star and the manager who runs one of the registers a 2 star. I Love the bagels here! We travel from Harrisburg to get them. However, I have to take a deep breath when I walk through the door and see the manager, Deb at the register. I would rather let 5 ppl go before me to wait for the other register just not to deal with her impatience, rude, inflexible personality with fake grin. I don’t know who owns the place but this lady doesn’t represent them well… if she is the owner too she’s lucky she makes great bagels.

Been coming here ever since it was Manhattan Bagel, and for the years I’ve gotten the same thing everytime– MTO everything bagel, with pastrami, provolone, lettuce, tomato and ranch… why mess with perfection. I friggin love this place and will always be a loyal customer. Even if it takes me a 6 hour drive up from VA haha worth it. Thanks to Deb and her staff for keeping this spot awesome

Great pastries and breakfast sandwiches. Everything is always very fresh. The coffee drinks could be better but they are certainly in the top tier is of coffee shops in Lancaster. They are extremely busy during the 8−10am timeframe everyday so try to go a little earlier or a little later.

Lady at the register was not very polite and they have a minimum credit card purchase. I waited in line before I found this out. Didn’t get to try it and won’t go back. Hope your outdated policy served you well!

Bagel sandwiches are satisfactory. Coffee is not worth the money. Plus, Lancaster has a few great roasters like Square One and Passenger so it baffles me that this place doesn’t support them. The lattes are okay. When I asked if they sell traditional cappecinos, the girl said yes. When I ordered it, she asked what size… Well, you answered my first question. Go a couple more miles to better cafes that know their coffee like Prince Street Café or Square One. Unless you’re fine with okay food and Dunkin/Starbucks/Whatever coffee. Oh, and 5 dollar minimum is annoying.

Best bagels around. The only place to get a really good egg & cheese bagel for breakfast. Coffee is always hot & fresh. Have called ahead to pickup an order on my way to work and it’s always right! Everyone there is courteous and efficient.

Great place for breakfast, brunch or lunch! Good, clean, inviting atmosphere. Food is always consistently good. Coffee drinks vary due to who makes them :-(But food is always good!

Had bagel with real lox, cream cheese, capons, etc. It was fantastic, just like New York City! A wide variety of bagel choices handmade fresh daily plus a variety of cream cheese, deli salads, veggies and meats to go on the bagels. My favorites are jalapeño and everything bagels plus the jalapeño cream cheese. They have pastries and other items too. Great for my daily cream cheese and bagel habit. Went back the following morning and had the egg salad on toasted everything bagel with lettuce and a jalapeño bagel with lox spread, both just great. The big negative — They have a $ 5 minimum to use a credit or debit card. For me that is a foul and worth at least one, maybe 3 stars for. I found out this place has been in business for 20 years. I guess that speaks for itself and they are on track for another 20.

Reliable lunch spot! Great food. Deli/sandwich spot with homemade soups, salads, sandwiches, bagels and their own pastries! Great service and Deb keeps the line moving — don’t be scared away if there is a line, it only b/c it’s just small & a popular place. There is an upstairs room for overflow or quieter seating, and outside tables when it is nice. Not a quiet spot if you have any hearing issues, but a great spot for a relaxing lunch. I use it as a backup office to be able to work and eat.

So pleased I was brought here by friends! The line was out the door when we got here but we were eating within 30 minutes. I ate a delicious toasted everything bagel BLT w avocado SOGOOD! Have to say it was a tad bit expensive for a bagel shop though. For my BLT w medium coffee it was $ 10.

They won’t take a credit card payment unless it’s a minimum $ 5 order, which is a big turn off and I’ve heard many customers complain about this. The owner is also not a friendly person and I’ve often seen her be cruel to employees. Good bagels but atmosphere has a lot of room for improvement.

Best bagels in Lancaster county as far as I’m aware! And I’ve tested out plenty ;). The everything bagel is perfection and the super cinnamon is a close runner up. I also love the homemade bagel chips they bag up and sell. The breakfast sandwiches are great and the coffee is pretty swell. They get pretty packed at times but the service is always pleasant and running as quickly/smoothly as possible. Definitely a Lancaster county favorite!

I very quickly fell in love with this place. I’ve only ever had their coffee drinks(The chocolate covered strawberry latte around VDay is amazingg), but the food all looks delicious too! The one older lady who sometimes works the cash register can be a little sour, but the rest of the service is great! They have an awesome rewards punch card and the setting upstairs is the perfect place to hideaway and get work done or have a private chat. I just wish they were open later! It’d be a great evening hangout…
