Frist Class Cakes made me a birthday cake that was completely devoured in a matter of minutes. Since I was the Birthday girl I was completely busy socializing but my Dad, friends, and Sister in Law made sure they came up to me and my husband to make sure we got a piece of the cake before it was gone. We had about 100 guests at the party, and everybody was completing about how good the cake tasted. The Band raved about the cake. The next day I wanted cake with my coffee, but we could not find the cake. We look in all friges, and guests motorhomes to find out who had the cake! Somebody kid napped the cake… but we realized it was gone completely devoured! Thank you Brenda for the Wonderful Birthday Cake…

I first went here when it opened, I ordered 2 cupcakes and a cookie, the cupcakes were horrible and dry the frosting was okay, the cookie fell apart when I looked at it. I went back recently with a friend who wanted a custom cake, Brenda wanted $ 125 for what looked like a child put together.

We went with First Class Cakes for our wedding cake. We already knew we wanted a red velvet cake and First Class Cakes was able to quote us $ 100 cheaper than Portos so we decided to go for it. I was a little hesitant because we tasted cupcakes for the cake tasting and I was hoping the cake would come out a little moister than the cupcakes but figured/hoped it would. I chose a simple naturalistic design from her book and booked it! We ordered the 3 tier red velvet with cream cheese filling and whip cream frosting. The wedding day came and everyone loved the cake! Several guests told me it was the best wedding cake and/or red velvet they’ve ever had. It was rich, moist, and had fantastic flavor, and I usually don’t love cake. My co-worker was going on about how most wedding cakes are dry and boring, or overly sweet, but how mine was beyond delicious. Because an expensive cake wasn’t in my budget, I’m so glad I could get such a great quality cake for an affordable price. Thanks Brenda!

Brenda did our wedding cake and was extremely easy to work with. I personally do not like cake, but I truly enjoyed the samples she was giving us throughout the decision making process. The cake turned out beautiful and was exactly what we asked for.

First Class Cakes opened a retail shop in Fall 2010 where they offer cupcakes and very fancy pastries. We had a lemon meringue tart, a strawberry tart and a lemon cheese cake bar… the last was the best. I need to go back and try the cupcakes since cake is their specialty. There are tables inside and on the sidewalk of this little café, and I can see myself stopping by on the way back from Acton’s brand new library to enjoy my books with some coffee and a treat. It’ll be quieter than the nearby coffee house which is periodically overrun by young karate and dance students. Prices? $ 2.75 for cupcakes and $ 2.75−3.50 for specialty items. If you drive the 14 freeway, you might want to stop and get some quality refreshment there. Heading north, take the Santiago Road exit, turn left, cross Sierra Highway and turn right into the little shopping center at that corner. It’s in there!

I called to get a quote for a 10 inch round cake and was informed that they do not allow to pick up the cakes and had delivery fee minimum $ 25 and cakes start at $ 65. Perhaps this is great for weddings etc but in my case I did not want to spend this kind of money for a kid. Her cakes sound delicious and but I guess I will drive to Porto’s in Burbank for my daughter’s cake that will cost me about $ 35.00
