This Dairy Queen is run really poorly. The employees have attitudes, there are always candy pieces that don’t belong mixed in my blizzards, the wait is always very long, and it’s not because it’s busy. Side note, their hours are not listed online as far as I could tell. I love Dairy Queen but I’ve tried this one 3 times now, doubt I’ll be coming back.

LOVELOVELOVE the Cotton Candy Blizzard!!! So many times I am disappointed with Cotton Candy flavored food including Ice cream but Dairy Queen nailed it! My only complaint is that they don’t have it more often. It’s only once every couple of years :-(

Went today as it was their opening day and I wanted to try the Grasshopper Mousse Pie blizzard. The Grasshopper Mousse Pie blizzard is described as cool mint, graham crackers crumbs, chocolate chunks mixed with vanilla ice cream and topped with whipped topping. The picture shows a bright green minty treat. As I pulled away from the drive through, I opened it and looked at it. It wasn’t green at all so I tasted it. It was vanilla ice cream with graham cracker and chocolate chunks. I went back and they apologized and made another one. This one was slightly green(pale) with no real discernible mint flavor, graham cracker, and chocolate chunks. No mint flavor, no real green color, and no whipped topping. Staff was polite enough, but I didn’t have it in me to ask again. Anything grasshopper is notoriously mint. Don’t advertise it if you can’t make it! I’ll just stick with Shamrock Shakes from McDonald’s from here on out!

Honestly, there really isn’t anything too special about this place, although I love the 50’s style décor on the inside. I got the S’mores Blizzard on the last day they had it and wow. I really wish though, this one was like it was when I was a child, one that had hot food as well, but honestly, I just love having a Blizzard here. And the price isn’t bad either.

Dirty dirty dirty! None of the employees we’re wearing hats(as per PA food safety regulations). Employee at the register took customers dirty money, than walked over and made their ice cream cone… with unclean hands!!! Gross! Eat here at our own risk!

All DQ’s are NOT alike. This one has the best vanilla ice cream, and has the right formula for the hard chocolate dip. At many other DQ’s the vanilla weeps throough the choco shell and that just won’t do! Other good newsies that the drive thru lane moves fast, but going out of the parking lot and turning left on Columbia Ave can be very nerve-wracking.

You can’t beat the product, but the staff is questionable. Almost always teens, which would be OK if someone would teach them how they’re supposed to act. Discussing their personal lives seems to be more important than waiting on customers. Also, if they ever get caught with all that hair and no hair restraints, which we see there OFTEN, they’ll be in deep doo-doo.

This DQ was our backup plan — the Cold Stone at Park City mall has apparently closed down. :((( We pulled up and found the place not-busy which was a nice surprise — often there is a line here. All the ice cream was made correctly and tasted great. Two small complaints/questions: — Who is in charge of the menu board? It changes every time I go there, and seems to show less and less choices. Do you not sell a straight-up sundae anymore or what? — Must the half-dozen teenage workers loudly talk about their weekend plans right behind the counter while we are sitting 5 feet away trying to have a family conversation over ice cream?

MMMM, Ice cream. Dairy queen’s still the«Queen» — — — - FOOD: This Dairy Queen doesnt serve hot food, just ice cream. I got an M&Ms blizzard, and after trying the rest I forgot what the best is. DECOR: This store kind of has a 50’s retro theme to it. Vinyl booths, checkerboard tile, a jukebox. They actually have a lot of places to sit. The DQ in Ephrata has outdoor seating only. This one has in AND out PLUS a drive thru. SERVICE: Since there was only one other guy there, pretty quick and friendly. — — — - FINALTHOUGHTS: Because they dont serve food, they close over winter. I mean what lunatic wants ice cream when its cold out? Yeah, that would be me and even I cant keep a place open with my addiction.
