The two stars are for the To Go service — drive up and they bring out the food to your car. Very convenient. The stars are also for the grilled meats — very tasty and well seasoned. Everything else though was pretty bad and way too salty — the Fettucini Carraba was barely edible. Their red sauce is too salty. Their lentil soup was salty and spicy and tasted nothing like lentils. Do yourself a favor and skip this place.

Before I start with the review I have to say the waitress was very friendly and attentive and tried hard to make things right. It’s a shame good people have to work in bad environments somthimes. We both felt sorry for her. Sunday lunch, two of us. We ordered Calamari as an appetizer. 2 Carrabba’s Combinations… Chicken Parmesan with Lasagne and two sides…2 orders of pasta as sides. 1 order of minestrone, 1 order of salad with Italian dressing. Where to start? We had 1 beer, 1 water. Had to send the beer back because the glass was filthy on the outside. When touching it, it felt as there were food particles stuck on it. GROSS. Got another beer, this time the waitress slid her hand along the glass to make sure it was clean. Water glasses were fine. Got the bread, really nothing Italien about it. The olive oil was mediocre. Calamari was served it was beige that’s the only way I can describe it. It was warm, tasted tough and dried out. I had 2 pieces and put it aside. I was done. Waitresses came asked me if I didn’t like it, I said no, not really, she responded I’ll take it off the bill. Minestrone was good. Not great. good. Main course arrived, on both plates, cheese was burned on both the chicken and Lasagne. Chicken wasn’t exactly tender. Lasagne was overcooked. The side of pasta not cooked enough, there is a difference between aldente and undercooked. Definitely undercooked. Not really a lot of flavor to the whole meal. So there it is. We should have stayed home and cooked. Would have been much better.

First time I have ever been to a Carrabba’s and I was happily surprised. No wait, amazing décor, amazing staff and the food was just awesome. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and especially this location.

I ate here for the first time last week. The food was amazing! The service was also incredible! The wait staff actually demonstrated customer service skills that are so hard to find. There was a slight mistake with our order and the management was very quick to come over and apologize immediately! Can’t wait to go back!

Incredible food as usual. Great drinks. They were extremely busy. But the service was absolutely amazing. Our waitress was the best! We had called in for call ahead. It was a hour wait. When we got there they couldn’t find our name on the list. The place was packed and they were booked. But the manager didn’t even flinch and got us a table in about 5 min. He kept apologizing for the mistake. It didn’t upset me and I told them it was ok. But they gave us 20% for it on top of getting us a table right away. We will be back again for sure. Top notch place and staff.

I’m not gonna lie, SOMETIMES I like going out to a place like Carrabba’s because it’s just easy and the food really is pretty tasty. Now, if you’re a food snob, especially an Italian food snob, I probably just lost you, but I don’t care… get over yourself. I’m from New Jersey and I’ve grown up on Italian food… real Italian food made by Italian Moms and Italian Dads and Italian Grandparents so I know what good, homemade Italian food is like… and while Carrabba’s isn’t homemade Italian food, I don’t mind going here because the place is usually fun, I’m usually out with friends I like to hang out with, and the food is pretty good. At this particular location, I was here with a group of about 15 people after a field hockey event(shocking, I know) and we were in the place for about 2 ½ hours eating, drinking, and being rowdy. Luckily we had a very cool waiter who made some nice food suggestions, but he also knew his beers and drinks so he also made some nice adult beverage suggestions. We ordered a few appetizers for the group and with 15 people, I thought our food orders would get screwed up or the last person would get their food as the first person was finishing… NOPE! The waiter made sure the timing was right for our meals — appetizers and salads were done — and our food came out in two big deliveries — one right after the other so we were all able to enjoy our meals at the same time. Can’t tell you about every meal, but my daughter LOVED her Chicken Parm, and my pasta with shrimp and bay scallops was tasty If you’re looking for a comfortable setting, a decent meal, and great service at an affordable price — I think you’ll be happy with this Carrabba’s. It might not be Mom’s, but it’s better than Olive Garden!

Excellent service! I came to Carrabba’s this evening with my 86 year old grandfather and my grandmother. Our server was Mr. Joseph Shell, and he was SO kind to my elderly grandfather. He listened to my papa’s joke, he brought our food out right away, and he answered all our questions — all with a friendly smile. When we forgot our leftovers on the table, he ran them out to us! While there, a waitress named Tracy came by our table and said hello to my grandparents. She remembered them from a previous visit. My grandpa was tickled that Tracy recalled his face and he couldn’t stop talking about how kind she was. Tracy really was a sweetheart, and I was so happy to see my grandpa smiling. Thank you for a memorable evening!

Terrific is an understatement! The entire meal and the presentation were superior. Our waiter Joseph was outstanding! We had the tilapia, angel hair pasta, salad and lentil soup and it could not possibly be any better. The restaurant was exceptionally clean as well.

When you go to Carrabbas you know you’re going to eat well. I enjoy just walking into their establishments for the wonderful aromas. We ate last night at the Lancaster site and we’re not disappointed. I had the goat cheese chicken, my wife had the caprese pasta with chicken. Both were delicious. They’re running a special with Coppolla wines, so we had the Pinot. Thank you Corey for the fine service. We’ll be back.

We come to Carrabba’s a handful of times a year. Their food is always great and if something is ever a miss, the staff always goes above and beyond to make it right. Our waitress Tracy D. did an amazing job tonight. My family can be a handful and she didn’t miss a single beat. She was really on top of everything and went above and beyond to make the service excellent. Thank you!

Love Carrabba’s! This one can be a hit or miss. That is why I gave them 4 instead of 5 stars. The last we went was during the dinner hours on a Saturday. The call ahead seating is a must. Walked in with our table ready while there were several groups waiting outside to be seated. Highly recommend one of their homemade pasta specialties such as the Fettuccine Weesie. This is a dynamite dinner if you love fettuccine. It includes shrimp and mushrooms. They offer 3 types of salad with the dinner: Italian, House or Caesar salad. All are excellent. The dressing is light even on the Caesar, which makes it delicious. The house wines are always wonderful along with yummy bread and olio. The atmosphere is very nice, but last visit they brought our main meals while eating salads still. All in all if you want to step away from the mom & pop pizza pasta shops, Carrabba’s is a great place to stop in at.

This was our first time at a Carrabas and it certainly won’t be our last! The wait was pretty long do we decided to sit at the counter and were entertained by the pizza and dessert chef! The food was delicious and we were sad that we were too full for dessert. Definitely going back!

Enjoyed a pleasant dinner experience here last night! The place is even more spacious now that they have expanded! Our waitress was pleasant and attentive to our drinks. Yes its corporate, but they still do an excellent job and work VERYhard. My tomato soup was served hot and had the perfect consistency! Enjoyed the flatbread appetizer as my entrée then. My mom enjoyed the chicken bryan once again. Always a favorite for our family! Will be back once again!

Not very good any more. We dined on a Sunday evening and noticed that it was crowded. Having been here before several times I was looking forward to a pleasant meal. I ordered the Chicken Marsala and noticed that it was over salted and over cooked, the salad was brown on the edges, and the side dish of broccoli was over cooked. The only thing good was the fresh bread. Other times the dining was average to above average, but this time was bad.

We just discovered Carrabba’s and are delighted we did. The service was excellent — attentive without being obtrusive. And the food was fabulous! The Cozze in Bianco, mussels prepared in a wonderful blend of herbs in a light sauce, were perfect, and the serving was large. The sausage and lentil soup was rich, if a little on the salty side. The first bite of the Pollo Sorrento was pure ambrosia and only got better. My husband had the Chicken Bryan and thoroughly enjoyed it. The sides of sautéed broccoli and cavatappi amatriciana were were prepared fresh — nothing sitting on a steam table. We ordered the smaller size servings to leave room for dessert. Good idea. The John Cole ice cream with caramel sauce and cinnamon rum pecans had three scoops of ice cream. I got the Signature Dessert Trio. All three were delicious, but definitely should be shared with one or two other people!

I like this place. From the moment we walked in we felt comfortable, the waiters were very attentive and answered all our questions, food was delicious and certainly will repeat. The night we visited was during the week and it was a good crow but not crowed at all. I am looking forward to repeat. The restaurant has good lighting and seatings. Easy parking and accessible from major route 30th.

For whatever reason I like the Carrabba’s up my way better. That’s not to say that this one isn’t good as my meal was exceptional and so was the service. My trio of friends held our Christmas Dinner/Gift Exchange here one year. Something just doesn’t compare to the other location, but we still enjoyed it. Really its about the same. *On a side note, we gave gifts to all of the kitchen staff as part of a Random Acts of Kindness gesture.

Hospitality: We were greeted with mild warmth by the hostess and seated in a mostly empty restaurant on a thursday night. Our table was on a busy corner even thought there were plenty of empty tables available. Our waiter was helpful and friendly and the tag team approach they have set up kept our drinks filled and requests answered quickly. Food: Chain-quality italian food. I make better sauce at home but wanted a quick fix. I ordered the tomatoe caprese for an appetizer. The tomatoes looked pale and the plate turned into a sloppy mess– definitely not local sourced tomatoes. I had pasta with meat sauce. The sauce tasted mostly like the hamburger but some of the tomatoe and spices did filter through. Weak flavor though. My date had the chicken marsala. The wood fired grill gives the chicken and steak there a delicious flavor. Only complaint with her food was that there was a severe shortage of marsala sauce so we had to ask for more, which was brought our promptly. The verdict: If you have a hankering for above average chain store italian head on over.

Stopped in for a late dinner during my stay in Lancaster. The restaurant is conveniently located off the freeway and is next to some hotels and an Outback. The place was packed for 8:30 on a Friday night, but after a short 5 minute wait we were seated. The staff are friendly and the place seemed kept clean. Coming from NY we know real Italian, and I was not expecting it coming from a chain restaurant. We ordered the fettucini Alfredo and the Mezzaluna raviolis. Both were decent and palatable. I also tried the Sangria flights taster, which was surprisingly decent. We ended with the Lemoncello bread pudding dessert, which was also decent. I wish the service from our waiter was a bit better, we saw other people sat after us get their food, drinks, bread etc before us. What also was a big points off for him was that the menu showed the Lemoncello bread pudding dessert takes 20 minutes to prepare, which we knew when we were ordering, but he said that it really only takes 5 minutes, and that we can order it when we’re done — taking his word for it was a mistake, since we ended up having to wait 25 minutes after ordering it after our entrée. He claims they lost the check for it and had the manager take it off the bill, but I also saw he disappeared during that entire time we were waiting. In all it was a decent meal, but service could use improvement.

This location made me think Carrabas is going downhill. The meals that we have ordered at other Carrabas locations were not that great. The restaurant was not very clean and the service was terrible.

This place is similar to a Macaroni Grill. Both a more expensive Olive Garden, a little more high scaled. Your meals don’t include unlimited soup or salad. I’ve came here a couple times. I thought I’d try it out a 2nd time, but it wasn’t any better. I’m probably not a fan because Olive Garden has a bigger variety of food, including the soup/salad with your meal, and its cheaper. Oh, and tastes better as well. The 2nd time I came here, I wasn’t a fan of what I had eaten. Carrabba’s is just not for me. I won’t be returning.
