This is a «real» bike shop. Not for everyone but that’s not to say that the owner Michael is not accommodating. Just the opposite. However, the shop is a bit of a trek to get to(but they don’t carry Trek) and the selection is exotic. Lots of Italian frames. Tons of fixies. The store is cramped, a bit dirty and perfect.

I was visiting my parents in bucks county when i decided to check out wheelfine imports since i heard they sell track bikes. All i can say is wow! i walked in expecting just to browse and ended up walking out with a beautiful NOS bianchi pista frame. I live in philadelphia and i’m used to getting snobby/pretentious service when i visit most of the shops in my area. I got the complete opposite experience the second i walked into wheelfine. Michael is such an awesome stand up guy. He is super passionate about bicycles, and extremely knowledgable. He kept pulling out these beautiful italian steel track bikes that had me salivating. :) His inventory seemed endless! I can’t say enough great things about Michael, and his shop. I cant wait to go back.

(in movie preview voice) In a world where boring, dime a dozen, made in Taiwan bikes over populate your LBSONESHOP will say ENOUGHISENOUGH! If you have a taste for the finer things on two wheels, this place is heaven. Want a Trek, Giant, Jamis, Fuji, etc? Look else where. The royalty of bicycles can be located at Wheelfine. From a 1970s red Cinelli to the most modern and teched out De Rosa, this is a place to find things built for speed. The owner, Michael, has both taste and opinions(even if he has an unfortunate appreciation for Colnago and Pinarello). High end accessories, nutrional products and excellent training advice makes this a must stop by for anyone serious about the craft and speed of fine road bikes. He also has a refreshing preference for the Italians, though I personally rather like the neutral handling of most American builders. Michael has dedicated this shop to pure, unadulterated speed and performance. If anyone wants to get me a rather nice Channukah present(hint hint you know who), that Marnati would make an excellent sibling to my own.

Thought I found a trustworthy bike shop owner /mechanic… I spent a lot of money here over the past several years. Had thought the owner /mechanic was a good guy who did reliable work at a decent price… Not only was there a major upcharge to the quote provided to wrench my bike, but my bike DOESN’T EVENSHIFTCORRECTLY. This was the major reason I brought my bike in for repair! All that money and time, and the bike doesn’t even perform the basics of what a bike should do. Spend your well-earned money elsewhere.

I found this bike shop when I was working on a project in Hopewell, NJ. I was starting my search for a new bike and I was checking out bike shops during my lunch hour. Wheelfine Imports is not like the other suburban bike shops. The shop is not located in a strip mall or a downtown but is located in the middle of New Jersey farming area. The shop is packed with bikes and accessories. The owner is a fixie rider. When you go expect to see a lot of steel bikes. There are plenty of carbon frames as well but this is an old school shop. I never bought anything here since I eventually purchased a Specialized Bike from a shop closer to my house but I used to enjoy driving out to the shop on a nice spring day to look at all of the Italian bikes that shop carried. If you are in the Western New Jersey, New Hope PA area and are into bikes make the trip to Wheelfine Imports.
