Might be the best Indian food I’ve ever had. Everything was very fresh, great friendly service and nice environment. We will definitely be back next time we are in Lambertville.

It’s been about a year since visiting Cross Cultural and the food was awesome as always. Had the vegetable samosa as an appetizer which was quite good. My main was the chicken tikka which was grilled to perfection. No room for desert, but I’ll be back!

The family that owns this restaurant also own the equally delightful Cross Culture in Princeton, and the food overall is excellent. Perhaps the portions in the Lambertville location are slightly smaller, but otherwise this is top notch Indian fare, prepared with ingredients you can really taste, and just the right amount of seasoning & heat. My personal fav is the Chicken Biryani, but you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. It’s all delicious, and the service is friendly & efficient. This is one of the quieter restaurant choices in Lambertville, tucked away on Kine Court, so you may not run into as many tourists as with other choices in town along Bridge St. But you will experience well prepared Indian cuisine, by owners who know what they are doing.

Love this place! Great service and great food:) their pita bread is very fresh. The waiter was really good at helping me order, it was my first time having Indian food he helped me order and I loved it all!!!

Wow! I never thought I would be giving an indian restaurant a 5 star review, but dang this place is the cats meow. This is as authentic as you can get. I ordered the most bland, vegetarian dish on the menu. However, it still had a punch to it and my mouth was on fire. They cook with real-deal spices. Luckily my sister in law knows the deal with Indian food and asked the server for this yogurt to mix into my dish and cool my mouth down. It helped and I could taste it better [i’m very sensitive to heat by spice]. Make sure to order extra naan, its SO yummy! I went for someones birthday back in the fall/winter and the service was pretty good, a little slow but I’m okay with having grace and waiting for good food. My only complaint is it was kept very cold in there, we were all freezing. We will dress warmer next time!

The food here was decent, I wasn’t blown away, everything was a bit more bland than I would hope from Indian food.

Pretty good food, and very nice ambiance, but the prices are quite high(around $ 20/entrée if I remember correctly). If you don’t mind a smaller, less elegant setting, Jaffron across the river in New Hope has food that’s as good or better(my Indian husband thinks better) for much more reasonable prices. I’d go back if I wanted to do an Indian meal for a special dinner with a larger group, otherwise probably not.

The ambiance is nice inside. We started off with the appetizer sampler. The somosa was really flavorful. They were freshly prepared. We then decided to split nann and chicken tikka masala. The chicken comes out on an iron pan, similar to a chicken fajita, frying at your table. We made the mistake of ordering chicken tikka instead of chicken tikka masala. They brought the Masala sauce out for us, but charged an extra $ 2.95 for a small amount. The sauce was okay and the chicken had a weird chewy texture in some bites. Not overly impressed, but food is satisfactory. Somosa was great!

Holy @&$#%* that was GOOD! We went here on a lark based on the smell outside. We had a kebab appetizer, chicken vindaloo, and chicken tikka masala. Oh… And some perfect Naan. One of the best Indian meals I have had since being in India a few months ago. Highly recommend.

Absolute best Indian food I’ve ever had. That said, I’m mostly eating in Richmond, VA, or rural New Jersey. so I’m not in New York City very much. STILL, seriously so good. We came in for lunch and had chicken cashmere, chicken tikka masala, palak panir, and lamb korma. I think out of these four dishes, the palak panir was our least favorite and the chicken cashmere was the uncontested champ. We were brought pakora and two different kinds of naan bread, as well as two chutneys. So. Damn. Good. Loved the attention to detail and the service here. Our server was so friendly and kind, and extremely patient as two of us had never eaten Indian food before/had a lot of questions. Get the mango lassi!

After my daughter’s guitar lesson on Sundays, we often have lunch at Cross Culture in Princeton. They have lunch menu everyday from 11:30 –3:00pm. We have ordered chicken vindaloo, lamb curry, lamb karahi, tandoori special. We always enjoy tandoori special which includes chicken tikka, tandoori chicken, chicken malai and seekh kabab. The lunch includes a basket of Naan bread, fried chickpea batter and lentil stew. There is always a leftover to take home. The waiters are always attentive and kind to explain dishes on the menu. They have another location in Lambertville in NJ.

I love everything about this place! First of all the food is wonderful and very consistently good! It’s BYOB so you won’t pay a fortune to enjoy wine or beer and it’s quaint and almost hidden on this little side street in Lambertville. If my family and I aren’t eating there each week then we’re getting takeout like we did last night. The chicken Tikka, shrimp Vindaloo, and chicken Tikka Masala are all outstanding along with the Jasmine rice, Papadam, and Naan that I can’t stop dipping in the Tikka Masala sauce. There’s a reason this place is rated as almost 5 stars on Unilocal.Check it out.

Lunch is a good deal here. For $ 9 you get an appetizer with 2 sauces, an entrée, basmati rice and Naan bread. I’ve come 3 times so far and the food has been consistently good. The restaurant is very clean with moce, calming décor. Overall, good restaurant that I’ll continue returning to.

For consistently good Indian food, Cross Culture is where I go. Best korma around and love their biryanis. Service is always friendly and good.

My wife and I went to Cross Culture for lunch. A very simple menu which meant to us that they are confident about the quality of their food. My wife ordered chicken Tikka Masala and I order chicken curry, both of which met our expectations. I decided to pay $ 3.50 extra to get garlic naan instead of regular naan. I was satisfied with the garlic naan. However, he did not charge the extra $ 3.50. Of course, I tipped him more. The server was very attentive and refilled my glasses multiple times with hot water(I ordered hot water because of cold weather today). Pleasant environment, attentive server, and good food. I thought this place deserved a five-start rating from me.

My wife and I had yet another superb Indian Cuisine meal here today(April 3, 2015) at the: Cross Culture Restaurant in Lambertville, NJ We really enjoy the Indian spices in the Vegetarian as well as Meat and Fish dishes. Also, the BYOB faculty makes for a festive time, as well as having excellent service from Kenny and the staff. One favorite dish that comes to mind that I would recommend, the: Chicken Karahi. Below are two pictures from my flickr page showing the Malai Kofta(Vegetable Balls) dish we had today — just wonderful!

First time I completely relied on Unilocal for a random place. I’ve had Indian food one other time but wow. This is the best food I’ve ever had. Excellent service. We started with the chicken Tikka app, it was so moist and perfectly cooked. Didn’t even need sauce. Then we had pakora which was a fried mix of vegatables. They were great, such a unique flavor. For entrée we had the cashmere chicken which was both of our favorites. It had cashew nuts and golden raisins with an excellent creamy sauce. We also had a side of Panier kulcha which went perfectly. I finished every last drop of food definitely coming back and bringing multiple people. Perfect spices. Perfectly cooked. Try it!

Jersey shore to Lambertville is a 55 mile drive we make every so often to sample some of the food at a few of the eclectic eateries in this small town and Cross Culture was the destination today. Their garlic naan and onion kulcha breads were a standout. The downside was quantity which was small portion sizes and steep pricing will drive up the cost of your meal here higher than expected. Overall we enjoyed the experience and would recommend them. The food delicious, the service friendly and efficient, the value just okay.
